I've heard most times this recalibration is not needed, but if it turns out it IS needed, you'd have to take it somewhere else at a cost of $250-$700, or as much as $1,000 at a dealership! No thank you! Especially after the already expensive windshield! My tech was Kyle and, boy, was he sharp! When he arrived he told me it would take around an hour, I believe he finished the windshield installation, recalibration and cleanup in around 30 minutes - no small feat for my big Honda Odyssey on his own - and returned from the test drive in under 10 minutes. It was easy to pay with any type of credit card, even AmEx, and all told I think it was about 40 minutes. The owner, Steve, was a pleasure to talk to, as was Kyle, A couple of easygoing guys. I definitely made the right choice! And, if ever I have the need again, I will probably only be putting out a call for one quote ... from MasterTech.

I called several companies, and while they weren't my first choice, they were the only one that could come out quickly. The technician arrived with the wrong piece of glass. The woman who ordered it claimed my VIN corresponded to a two-door version of my vehicle instead of the four-door model I own, which wasn't accurate. They had to reorder the correct glass and return a few days later. After the replacement, there was still a significant amount of shattered glass left inside the door, and I could hear it rattling every time I opened or closed it. I drove the car for about a month, then was out of the country for work for another month. After returning and driving it for several more weeks, the interior door handle suddenly stopped working, and I was unable to open the door from the inside (kind of important). I called J&M multiple times and left messages, but no one ever returned my calls. I ultimately took my car to a shop that specializes in my car's brand. They rolled their eyes and said that the guy was being lazy when he said he couldnt get the broken glass out of the door. They were able to get that out easily, and $200 later, they fixed the door so I could open it from the inside. Mistakes can happen, but what disappointed me most was the lack of follow-up and customer service when I tried to have the issue addressed.

I had a bump in with a car and someone I know suggested I get a quote from them; they were recommended highly. There is a reason for that, they are really incredible not only in their work but their work ethic. It's not a huge shop, it is locally owner owned and Sean and Paul are about the best fellows there are to work with. No pressure, didn't talk over my head, didn't promise what couldn't be done...talked 'to me' not 'at me' being a lady in upper years and didn't walk in the shop with a man; Sean took his time explaining everything. Their shop is incredibly clean and bright. I don't say that lightly; there is a place for everything and the shop is kept remarkably clean. They are friendly, so very kind. They work with you and there is no bait and switch on the quote they give you. Honest and their work is without question, remarkable. They take tremendous pride in their reputation and it shows. Not only do they accomplish their magic on repairing vehicles, they repair motorcycles and they actually build motorcycles from the ground up for customers. It is truly amazing to be in their shop. I had my car delivered to me Sunday evening so I finally had it after being without wheels for a week. No phony sincerity, kindness and friendliness.
