Glas Tek was the first business to contact me, and I heard from them quite literally less than 10 minutes after submitting the request. I can't say enough great things about their responsiveness and friendly, straightforward communication. The whole process start to end was smooth and stress-free. That same night, we scheduled a time for someone to come and fix the crack the very next day. Dennis ended up coming to my work on Thursday morning, and I received a text from him letting me know that my windshield was all fixed and that I could call him to provide my payment. I had another small crack on my windshield that had already been there for almost a year, and he was able to fix that one too. I was very impressed that he was able to repair it! My windshield looks perfect. Also, the price to fix both cracks cost almost HALF the price of the place I have visited in the past. I had to take my truck in after the little silicone I had to use to stop the leak from messing up my dash.. ST Louis glass found that not only were they able to reuse my glass windshield, but had these pictures and said this. They didn't use enough Urethane to seal the window. I am lucky I was not in an accident because my windshield would have come off the truck. The sealant should be 1" thick and was barely used. Also They said the installer cut through the seal with the windshield mirror bracket. So if You need a windshield replaced avoid Safe Lite and use St. Louis windshield repair Company

I called several companies, and while they weren't my first choice, they were the only one that could come out quickly. The technician arrived with the wrong piece of glass. The woman who ordered it claimed my VIN corresponded to a two-door version of my vehicle instead of the four-door model I own, which wasn't accurate. They had to reorder the correct glass and return a few days later. After the replacement, there was still a significant amount of shattered glass left inside the door, and I could hear it rattling every time I opened or closed it. I drove the car for about a month, then was out of the country for work for another month. After returning and driving it for several more weeks, the interior door handle suddenly stopped working, and I was unable to open the door from the inside (kind of important). I called J&M multiple times and left messages, but no one ever returned my calls. I ultimately took my car to a shop that specializes in my car's brand. They rolled their eyes and said that the guy was being lazy when he said he couldnt get the broken glass out of the door. They were able to get that out easily, and $200 later, they fixed the door so I could open it from the inside. Mistakes can happen, but what disappointed me most was the lack of follow-up and customer service when I tried to have the issue addressed.

I had my Subaru 2019 Outback's windshield replaced in early December by Bone Auto Glass. I was very…read moregrateful they were able to fit me in the day after I called. Because newer Subarus have lane departure systems, windshield replacements require additional technician calibration unfortunately, which bumps up the price of repairs by a lot. I called several other places like Glass Doctors of America, but they did not feel comfortable repairing the window since they could not do the calibration. The quote Bone Auto gave me was significantly cheaper (roughly $600 vs. over $1100 at Safelite). They did a great job -- see pic attached! One thing to note though is there is no place really to wait (there are a few chairs but there is no wifi). I ended up walking about 30 min away to the library (St Louis County Library - Daniel Boone Branch) to wait while my windshield was repaired. I was initially told it might take the entire day, but the whole thing took about 3 hours or so (dropped off car around 8:30am, was able to pick it up by 11:30ish).
