First of all, Cesar was very responsive, polite, and reasonable. We were driving home and we hit a pretty decently sized rock, which immediately cracked our windshield. To the windshield's credit, the crack was only the size of a quarter. Not wanting to spend hundreds of dollars to fix it, we started asking around. Cesar was not the closest to us, but was the only one available. We set up the appointment for an hour later. He was on time, told us what do expect, walked us through the process, and let us know that we may still see a line/lines left by the crack from inside the car. A rock cracked the car windshield. The crack size was around 1 1/2 inch. Other glass repair places will only replace the windshield and not repair the crack if it's more than an inch or bigger than a size off a quarter. I received quotes from $345-$390 to replace it. Safelight can repair the crack but it's around $180 which is still expensive. Then I found Glass First Aid in Yelp. Cesar came to my home and fixed the crack for a much reasonable price. My windshield had a small rock chip damage, so I contacted multiple repair shops. Cesar had the best prices compared to other shops and, as a bonus, he was mobile and drove straight to me. Cesar did a great job fixing my windshield. First, he was the least expensive for mobile service. There may be cheaper rates for bringing the car into a shop. Plus he has a flat rate...no charge for tax or using a CC. He answered my Yelp messages at 11pm so he's always in the ball trying to provide customer service. When he arrived, he was very polite and knowledgeable. He even saw a second chip which I missed which was worse. He charged a flat rate of $65 for small chips and only added $10 for the second chip which I thought was reasonable. Others charged more for the second chip. It's worth the convenience of having a mobile repair and I will call him again if I need it. I am going to refer a friend tomorrow who needs the same repair. read more
