I knew from the moment I found her that I needed her to be the makeup artist for my wedding. Contacting her was easy and setting everything up was a breeze! Ive been to Marina twice now! The first time i booked her i had followed her on instagram for about a year before i needed makeup services. I loved her looks and found her prices extremely reasonable. Both times i booked an apt she got back to me right away. Ive been to about 5 different makeup artist and Marina by far has been the best shes extremely talented and very clean. Im very particular with my makeup looks, and Marina understood what i wanted and the end result was gorgeous! My makeup turned out so beautiful and i received tons of compliments. She was great!!! My sister got her make up done a year ago for her prom with marina and her face looked flawless so I had to get her for my wedding! My face is oily and has acne I told her how my face gets oily throughout the day and she said not to worry about it that it wouldn't. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day thanks to Marina! For my trial, Marina was understanding of my needs and made me feel so comfortable. On wedding day, Marina arrived thirty minutes before the first scheduled appointment time and left plenty of time for all 12 of us to get the attention that we wanted and deserved. She was flexible with scheduling and made sure that everyone was comfortable with the way they looked before leaving. I would give her a 3.5 stars. I found her on IG and luckily for me she was local. Marina has skills! She really does BUT I wasn't 100% happy. My eye-shadow was flawless! I loved it but the foundation was very creamy and I have extremely oily skin. It was very cakey and thick. I felt like it was appropriate for a photo shoot but not an anniversary dinner. I went home, wiped everything off except my brows and shadow and re did it. She did ask me if I liked it but because I only paid like $50 I felt bad telling her especially because she's really nice. I used Marina as my make up artist for myself as the bride and two of my bridesmaids. I found Marina through her Instagram account and was a bit apprehensive at first because the make up she does tends to be very dramatic. Since I do not usually wear much make up, I wanted to be sure I had a natural look that I felt comfortable in. Shortly after viewing her Instagram, she posted some pictures of bridal make up she had done that looked more natural. After seeing that work I called to schedule an appointment for a trial. I had the trial the day of my bridal shower and it came out exactly as I had asked for! Everyone at the shower thought it came out beautifully and I ended up booking Marina for the wedding. When it came to the wedding, I decided I wanted to go a bit more dramatic (but not too much) and showed her a picture of the look I was going for. She executed it flawlessly! I was slightly upset at my hair dresser because she did not really create the look I was going for, but after seeing how my make up came out I could have not been happier. Everyone said I looked like a model that day. It was very special. In regard to my bridesmaids, some of them had gone to MAC and some of them used Marina.
