Caitlin is very responsive, kind, fair in pricing and she does a beautiful job. Caitlin makes sure that her clients are absolutely satisfied with their work. She checked periodically throughout the session to make sure that the client is pleased with her service. I did a trial run with her for my wedding make up and hair and we booked with her, she also did wedding hair and make up for my wedding and we were all fully satisfied! Turning 50 has changed my skin a bit and I'm sooooo not ready for this! Where have the last 25 years gone and who took my radiant and youthful skin!!???? I want it back! I had a consultation with Alison of Face-Labs at a holiday boutique. I wasn't expecting much since it's advertised as mineral make up. I used Bare Minerals for many years and loved it - but it's not so great once you start getting fine lines and creases - it actually started accentuating those flaws instead of hiding them. I thought this would be much of the same - but it wasn't. The make-up isn't powder - it's liquid and it's specially mixed and matched to my own skin coloring. You have a choice of how much coverage you want and whether you want a sheer, dewy, matte etc. type of finish. You get a choice of how much coverage you want. It's all mixed to exactly how you want it - with or without sun screen and/or mixed with a primer - so you can skip that step in your super early morning routine. A plus for me since I have to be up at 4 a.m. for work and I am NOT a morning person. For the rest of the day I continued to get complimented on my skin - by strangers even. I'm 50 and people have always thought I was about 15 to 20 years younger than my age - I've been noticing those compliments have been getting fewer and farther between - so it felt good to have people noticing my skin again. I have ordered more products and will be happy to review them once I receive and try them, but I can't say enough about the foundation. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for coverage made perfect for them. As for Alison, she's a sweetheart to work with. She is very knowledgeable about her products, how to mix them just right and was truly focused on coming up with the easiest routine and best products to meet my goals and expectations. I'm not into makeup. My daily routine is moisturizer and BB cream. I also have super curly hair, and I don't trust a lot of people to be able to style it. As a result, I almost decided to DIY my hair and makeup for my wedding. Then I found FACELABS and was impressed by their portfolio as they seemed to excel in the natural look I wanted. I decided to give them a try, and I'm so glad I did! The bridal hair/makeup price includes a trial at your location. It was nice to be able to meet the stylists ahead of time. They both listened to what I want and executed perfectly. On the day of my wedding, both the makeup artist and hair stylist arrived right on time. They were super nice and accommodating. Six of my bridesmaids and my mom had makeup done, and 5 had hair. All of them had slightly different ideas of what they wanted, and all of my girls were happy with the results! My mom can be picky about her hair and makeup and she was also super happy with everything. Everyone also though the price was great. Most importantly, I loved my hair and makeup! My husband and I both prefer me to look natural, and FACELABS did an amazing job of just making me look like a more polished version of myself and not like an overly-madeup bride. I hired makeup/hair for my wedding and several bridal party members. Pros: They were on time, got their work done in a timely manner and were very professional. Cons: The makeup artist did not remember doing my trial, so the trial was a waste since she did very different makeup on me which I did not like. Two of my bridesmaids and myself had to adjust our makeup as it was not done to our liking. Also, I felt my makeup and hair was rushed even though we were hours ahead of schedule. As a bride I did not feel I was taken care of the way I should be on the day of my wedding. The company is very professional but should reconsider the treatment of their brides when they work with them. read more

Ali was very helpful in finding me a new look. It took a lot of courage for me to wear make-up that was bold and beautiful, but after getting lots of compliments, I know I look good! She is very friendly and knows how to get the perfect look. She knows a lot about which products to use on your face for skin care.
