This is the best beauty supply store I've ever been to. The prices are always FAR lower than any other store in the area. The owner is super chill, super down to earth, and isn't trying to pull one over on anyone. Great selection of products. I go here all the time, tell him what I'm looking for, and he gives excellent recommendations. One time I went there to get a Mason Pearson hair brush for my mom for Mother's Day. For those who don't know, they're very expensive brushes. The owner literally said to me "I'd love to sell you that brush, but this one is better", and he handed me a $25 hair brush that I use to this day. He's incredibly honest. I love coming here! Firstly, it must be said that I know a TON about beauty products (thanks to years of beauty magazine subscriptions and obscene Sephora bills). And nowadays, it is incredibly difficult to find employees that can offer input on a variety of products. However, Nick (the owner) is not by any means an uninformed business owner. He is honestly one of the most knowledgeable people I have met regarding all things hair, makeup and nails. I can pick up any item in the store, and Nick will give me the lowdown about it. There have been numerous times where I have picked up a product I read about in a magazine, and he suggests another product that he likes more and that's also more economical. I whole-heartedly trust ALL of his recommendations; every time he suggests a product (a deep conditioner, nail hardener, etc.), I go home, I try it, and am so happy and pleased with his suggestion. They have a few stations in the back and the women specialize in cutting curly hair using the Deva method (hair is cut dry). They also use all of the DevaCurl hair products which are amazing. This is the only beauty supply store I will ever go to. The owner has a long history of working with beauty products, can answer any of your questions and give great suggestions.
