Looked on Yelp and Olympia Wax Bar has amazing reviews, especially for Pamalee. I made an online appt which was super easy as their website and reservation system is very user friendly and simple to use. I received reminders leading up to the day of my appt which I appreciated. The spa is very clean, minimalistic, and welcoming. I loved all the humorous signs and products they offer. Pamalee was on time and very nice to talk to. She made me feel very comfortable and eased my nerves. I have never had a Brazilian so I don't know what to compare it with but based on how painful everyone says it is I would say she is amazing because, although not comfortable, the pain was relatively quick and was short lived. Pamalee is a professional and has been waxing a long time and it shows in how she explained things, how efficient she was, and how comfortable she made me feel in what could be a vulnerable and embarrassing procedure. The prices seemed on par with normal prices in the area for similar services. Easy parking. The business is right next to Outback Steakhouse. Lots of appointment times in the convenient hours they are open. Especially if you book in advance. All told, I am a fan! I'll be back next time I need some waxing done! Yelp comes through once again!

The studio is clean - like sparkling clean and intimate without being cramped. She also offers a great selection of facials and I'll be booking one soon. I found Kally Threading on Yelp and saw the reviews were good and decided to give it a shot. I am a fan! I called and was advised I could just walk in, which is very convenient as my last salon required appts and sometimes they were more than a month out and if you had to cancel it was almost impossible to reschedule without waiting another month for an appt to come open. Kally threading is in a shopping complex with easy access and parking. The gal working was so nice, efficient, and detailed. I was in and out in 20 minutes and my brows look better than ever (and that is saying a lot because the last place did a fantastic job but charged too much). I ended up buying a package plan, which is a really great deal (5 brow threads with tint for 100). I am very happy with this business and recommend it, highly, to anyone looking for affordable eyebrow care. I did see that they offer other services as well (eyelashes, etc).

During my session, my right foot, which is missing the toes due to a lawnmower accident 20+ years ago, was completely skipped over, even though nothing had been requested or needed to be skipped. When I followed up within 30 days, hoping to resolve the situation kindly, I was told it was too late to request a refund. On the call, I was offered an apology for how the experience made me feel; there was no acknowledgment of the massage therapist's actions or any assurance that the issue would be addressed. It was clear they didn't truly understand the situation or have an ethical process for handling it, leaving me feeling embarrassed for spending $120 here. If you have specific care needs or any unique situations, I would think twice before booking here. This experience was dismissive and showed space for improvement in situations like mine. I want others to know so they can make an informed decision about whether this is the kind of service they want to support. Thanks for reading, and I hope this matter was taken seriously behind the scenes of management even if not openly acknowledged with me, so no one else in the future has a similar experience at this establishment.

It's been 5 years since my initial review of having my hair cut by Devi. Time for an update!…read more I started going to her around covid time when my hair grew out and was, to my surprise, quite curly. Devi is the magician at cutting curly hair!! Never a bad cut. Always predictable. I've kept it "long-ish" because her cuts are so good. No clipper mania as I've had previously to her. She has been in the same location for all those years but recently moved to the back side of the building. In doing so, her shop's foot print is much larger. It is set up and decorated in a very classy manner (my opinion). I've added new photos of her "new" shop. Per her web siite, appointments only . She's very flexible in fitting you in too.

I cannot handle scented products - I have an allergic reaction to them due to some chronic conditions - and so Devi stocked and has maintained unscented shampoo, conditioner, and hair oil so I can still have a wash and dry at the end of my cuts! They also are the only person in the space besides me and are willing to mask upon request, so it's still a COVID-safe option in 2025. Hooray for disability justice! I love supporting this small business owner with so many shared identities, Devi just "gets it". 10/10 try them out and tell your friends!

Every time I walk in I automatically feel at ease from the set-up, to the music, and her overall presence. I love coming here and I always leave with the cutest head wraps! She also offers you water right when you walk in and that always helps relax me. At first, the only service I came here for was a Brazilian wax, now I come here and do my legs and lips as well! Christina does such a great a job, I can't help but purchase more services from her. I waxed my legs one time before and it wasn't such a good experience, but when Christina does it, you can't even tell! Waxing my upper lip has been amazing too!
