I have been to this salon several times over the years for pedicures mostly. I think it has improved greatly in the past few visits due to staff changes. In the past, the main gal was snippy and not very welcoming. The vibe is now ultra comfortable and the staff is friendly. I feel you get a nice service for a reasonable price. They advertise military discount for active duty personnel. When I asked for the 10%, I was informed my CAC (Common access card) must stay active duty. I find that fascinating because a military ID does not say active duty, it will say uniform services. The woman that assisted informed me that they cannot give me the discount due to it, not saying active duty, but as a civilian, she did not know what she was speaking of. It would be wise to educated the business before trying to disagree with a military member. This is unfortunate because everything else was great. read more

I saw a few good reviews and decided to check this place out, as I've had a lot of trouble finding a decent nail salon since we've moved to CO. Although I was happy they took me same-day, my full set is horrible. The shape of my nails are uneven, the acrylic is laid on very thick, the polish was on my skin, she did not do any sort of cuticle cleaning... I attached photos to visually describe what I mean, as I don't enjoy leaving poor reviews without evidence. I will not be returning to this salon. My experience here was truly terrible. The woman giving me a pedicure became angry when she could not upsell me with extra services, then was rude, argumentative and did a terrible job on my pedicure. Polish on my skin, but not covering parts of my nail, no filing of nails after cutting, she leaned over and got her shirt pressed against my wet toes and then dismissively told me they were fine and slapped another coat of clear on top. The technician was truly unpleasant bordering on nasty, all the way down to ripping the toe separators off my feet and shoving on my flip flops. I went to have powder dip on my nails on Monday. I saw the lady who sits at the desk as soon as you walk in. She was a very nice lady but she cut me twice and burned my pinky nail. Two days later and my thumb nail has chipped-this has never happened to me. My sister in law was with me and had to ask to have the cup holder on her massage chair wiped out because it had nail clippings in it. Very unsanitary place. Honestly coming out of there I feel like I wasted $50. it started off good with a gel removal and cuticle care, but then once the gel paint started going in the nail tech was missing the sides of my nail with the paint and only did two coats leaving my nails looking not great. After saying I could still see the glitter from my last gel color I had on most of my fingers he scrapped it off one finger and kept on going leaving the color on the other nails. He handed me off to another woman to do my massage and I then mentioned to her there needed to be another coat and that the sides of my nails needed painting. The male tech then came back over I showed him what I was talking about and he slapped a sloppy coat of color on my nails and my skin gave me a 3 second hand massage and walked me up to the counter. I thanked him multiple times and he just ignored me. Not worth the time or money! read more

Giving this nail salon three stars but mainly because of the lady who did my daughters pedicure. She was wonderful with my four year old who had a blast and loved getting to sit in the kids chair and play. However, without that it would have been rated much lower. A subpar pedicure cost $40. This was the cost for the spa pedicure which wasn't much of a regular pedicure. I've had dipped nails done for about the past 4 years and, when done correctly, will last a good 3 weeks. I had this process done at Glamour Salon & Spa 2 weeks ago and not until the end of the process did they tell me they did not use the UV machine to set the nails, which is the only way to assure my nails do not crack off within a week. The lady assured me that she was extremely experienced and that she guaranteed that my nails would not crack or chip. Unfortunately they did start chipping and breaking off 4 days after being dipped. One nail cracked right down the middle, way into the quick, which was very painful. Needless to say, I will not be going back there! read more

Let me first say that I only rated this place the way I did because of the owner. The women that owns or manages the place is extremely rude. I came in with a few people and we spent well over $250. Every time I asked the price of something I was told a price (that wasn't posted anywhere in the store but online everything says EVERYTHING is way less than what they charge you). For instance : online it says kids cuts are $13.00 with style. Instead we got charged and extra $10 to wash a 4 year olds hair with ought telling us it was going to cost more. The second child didn't not get any styling done and got a trim and was charged $15.00. So my first problem is feeling ripped off and two supporting an owner that is extremely rude and unprofessional. My last complaint is the entire time I was there instead of just working on nails, the owner was constantly booking Apts, calling people on the phone, trying to over book people. I felt my nails were done okay, however there were things missed since she was on the phone the whole time. The man that works there does a wonderful pedicure and I highly recommend him. There is also another woman there that works on nails and feet and she is wonderful as well! I unfortunately will not be coming back and hope this owner can do a better job to her future clients. read more

My friend recommended this place to me and I fell in love. The staff is so amazing and nice, and they will take extra time to make sure you have the desired shape that you want. I was a little apprehensive about getting acrylics because some other places in springs make them so bulky and thick -- which I hate the look of-- but mine were filed down beautifully and look like real nails! The atmosphere is lovely, they had a lot of regulars walk in during my appointment and the relationships their clientele have with their nail techs is so cute. I only got a manicure (no shellac) and 1) it was very rushed with uneven coating, 2) my cuticles aren't pushed back, and 3) when he put the lotion on he only used a drop of it so he was just rubbing his dry hands on my dry hands. Everyone here was friendly and polite, but we waited about 45 minutes after I called and asked when would be the best time to make our appointments. My pedicure was chipped after one day and my gel manicure is chipped on six nails after less than a week. My cuticles look like I didn't have a manicure at all. Expensive for the quality. read more

After many trails at various salons in Monument and the Springs, I stay here for several reasons; they do not ruin your nails. They do not scrape shellac off like other places. They have a great variety of colors in dip as well. It is just not worth it to go anywhere else because it takes so long for ruined nails to recover. The pedicures are divine. read more

I recently moved to the area and started going to Glamour for dip polishes. The staff is affable, and there's always availability. Both good points! I really wanted this to work out, and I hesitated to write a review. But, ultimately I decided to because I rely on reviews to make decisions, and the niceness of the staff doesn't fix my damaged nails--nor are they fixed by delaying speaking up. It's been about 4-5 months or so, every three weeks, that I've gotten dip power. Unfortunately, my typically long healthy nails are now paper thin, bendable, ridged and painful. It's the take-off and grinding process that has damaged my nails over this time frame. I probably should have stopped going months ago, but I was hopeful that I could find a tech that took a bit more care when removing and grinding -- or not grinding at all. The ridges are obvious. The bending is noticeable. There have also been issues with chipping and breaking my natural nails, leaving space on the side between the nail and cuticle large enough for moisture etc to prematurely chip or break the powder, and with not getting a manicure when I requested it in addition to the dip. I won't be going back as it will take 4-6 months to get my nails healthy. I'm not sure about the other services, but I wouldn't recommend Glamour for dip powder. read more

I have been to a few Nail salons on the northern end of Colorado Springs and this is by far my favorite. They are not sneaky with their pricing-- they don't try to trick you into adding extra services for additional fees. No, this place has a menu for different varieties of pedicures and they stick to it. They WiLL ask you if you want a flower which is an additional charge, but the salt scrubs and paraffin waxes are included or not included depending on which menu option you choose. They do not rush through your pedicure or manicure and take pride in their work. The decor is nice and everything is clean. They offer beverages and cookies and also have two kid sized pedicure chairs. My daughters love coming here with me! They do a great job with shellac, too. If you want a great foot massage, ask for Taun! He does a spectacular job. This will be your new favorite pedi-place!! read more
