Visiting for the weekend and came in for a pedi. I had a male but didn't catch his name. Got the deluxe pedi. Great massage, scrub, paraffin etc. 4 of us came in together and they accommodated all of us for last minute call in appt. They were all very nice too. read more

I'm a little torn on this review. I haven't been here before and found it while I was driving around and was trying to get in fast. No appointment, but it was only about a 15-20 min wait. It took almost 1.5 hours to get my nails done, and I went through 3 nail techs, which was a little annoying. I don't know if it was just me, but the place didn't look super sanitary. There were no towels at the hand washing station except one sitting on the sink that looked like it had been overly used. My nails ended up being super misshapen and a couple are on crooked, but I had the 3rd tech fix them the best he could. Some display a coffin-like look, while others are just squared. They are also still pretty long, but I'll get them cut down when I go back to my regular place...I can say with certainty I won't be back, but my nails don't look horrible. read more

I initially got a full acrylic set, when I got home I didn't like it. I came back and the woman who did my nails worked with me to get what I wanted. I left so happy and satisfied. It makes a different when they care about the quality of their work. read more

This place has very poor cleanliness very poor service and quality. I went in to get gel nails done on my natural nails between 2:45 and 3:15 on Wednesday July 14th 2021, by that evening I already had nails peeling I paid $35. I called to let them know the only thing they wanted to do was for me to go back into their very unclean salon and have them rework on my nails which I do not trust them !!! I would advise for everyone do not go there , do not trust them!!!! Hot nails in Colorado springs off academy is not a good salon I asked to be refunded they were not budging on any amount they only wanted me to go back in. read more

This place was the most disgusting nail salon I have ever been to. I have never written a Yelp review, but the horrible quality of this place made me want to write one to warn people before they consider coming here. Their chairs were ripped and worn down. Their nail polishes were off-brand, old, dried out and unorganized. They had dirty old CARPET floors that they expect people to walk on with their bare feet... and the fingernail/toenail dryers looked like they were from the 70's; I had never seen such outdated equipment in my life. The bins that they kept their clippers and other utensils in looked like they hadn't ever been cleaned out and their products made my skin peel. Not only was everything old and extremely unsanitary, but I was not happy with the mediocre pedicure they gave me. Definitely the lowest quality salon I've ever been to, and if I could give it zero stars, I would. read more

I finally have a new nail place after moving to the Springs in 2017. It took me four visits to other salons (that's sucked) until I found this one. My Texas friends and I came for a girls day in March and I am now back in May. Lindsey is the nail lady I see and personally request. Her foot rubs are superb and quite possible my favorite foot rubber. The classic pedi is perfect if you need a quickie and the deluxe is even more grand! The sea salt and hot stone makes it a wonderfully relaxing experience. I have deep big toe ingrowns and that past two times I have been here the team has help relieve the pain that it can cause. Hot nails is tucked away in the same parking lot as vanguard church off Austin bluffs and academy. read more

I will never return to this place. Got my full set on Saturday. This is Monday morning. They look 3 weeks grown out already. No consistency to the shape. My one nail was totally crooked. They do not know how to do powder. My cuticles got so roughed up, her rough filing was painful. read more

LOVE this place. New to Colorado and this is the first place I finally decided to take a chance on! Came here the first time to get a fill and 3 repairs and they did an absolutely amazing job! The nail techs take their time and clearly take pride in the work they're doing and make sure you actually like what you're getting! This is the second time I've come here and I need a repair and fill! Their fills are $18+ depending upon the extent of it, they actually take their time to fill and have an even acrylic. If you're hard on your nails and need them stronger they do it and don't charge extra! Love the nails I've gotten each time! They are pretty busy during the week so I'd call a head of time just to be on the safe side! read more

This place was a good place to go to as a replacement when my nail tech is booked. I usually go to an in house nail tech so finding other places that can provide the quality of my in house nail tech can be a struggle. They did a very good job here and they took there time and my nails came out great I didn't ask for much because I didn't want to get let down but they did a great job for my simple ask. I would come back here as a filler it's good to know there is somewhere close to provide quality when in need. read more

First Yelp review for me because of how horrible it was. I wish I could give them zero stars. I payed $60 for this (full gel set). I got them done and left with nails that looked over grown, nails polish on my skin and a shape I didn't ask for. I asked for square nails and got these round ones that are all uneven on each fingernail and they didn't even push back my cuticles and left a huge gap. There are dust bumps in the polish on my nails. My missing nails and over grown ones I went in with looked much better. My friends were as bad as mine. Will NEVER go here again. Don't waste your money here. So unsanitary and I went through two nail techs. read more

I would not recommend this place. After requesting a manicure and regular polish, my cuticles were not touched once and my nails were all shaped poorly and differently. I left with top coat on the skin surrounding my nails and oil covering my hands. 10 minutes after finishing my "manicure" my nails look as if they were painted two weeks ago. I would be better off buying polish from a drug store and doing this myself. read more

Waited over an hour past my appointment time to have my service started. Sea Salts were not added to the water for soaking - but then no one asked me what service I wanted for another 30-40 minutes after I'd been soaking. The salon was dirty with stuff thrown all over the floor. I watched someone leave the chair without anyone wiping the chair or the remote control for the chair during COVID. The person who did my pedi wheeled her cart right from her last client to me and did not change out or clean the tools used. Had I been by myself and not with a friend who had a gift certificate she needed to use - I would have left. Many polishes were old, cracked and nasty. Disgusting salon. Will never return. read more

I got an almond full set. They are all different shapes. I paid $50 to have to get them fixed elsewhere. I'm really not happy.

I love this place. I've been here quite a few times... And every time the bar is easily met. I absoutely love their pedi's. The massage chairs are new and in good shape, the work is wonderful, paint is on point and clean... And Tony's taiwanese acupressure massage is the best!! He's strong and funny. The salon is clean and the people polite. Very big too. Lots of chairs and employees. You should go if you're reading this. read more

I have gone to Hot Nails 5 times now. When the lady or young girl nail tech has done my pedicures and manicures they have been wonderful! The polish lasts a long time. The past 2 times Tony did my pedicures. He has hurt me both times, where I have bled. The first time he cut into my cuticle, and yesterday he cut my nail way too short and I also bled. I'm over it here. The first time is a mistake, the second time, you're not very good at your job. I'm bummed because they are very polite, the product is wonderful, and it's reasonably priced. read more

Hot Nails - Ouch! - Nail Salons Near Me - Colorado Springs, Colorado

$25 full set and $18 for acrylic fills Since moving to Colorado Springs from NYC, I recently found this nail salon with good reviews. The acrylic full set was $25 for one color and my nails came out... Eehhh. Customer service was good, they interact with you and are accommodating but the full set came out flat squared under the nail rather than curved, how I like it, so that's just a preference. My nails look like fake flat squares coming out of my fingers and two days later, the nail polish is coming off from the edge of the nails. I had to buy the same color polish at the store to retouch. Plus, there was a lot of left over acrylic residue under my nails which made it very difficult to keep it clean under them...not cute or efficient. The technician took an hour and a half which is fine since he took his time but I wish the results were a little better. I'll be checking out other places in the meantime. read more

I went in to get my nails done, and when I left they looked great however a day later the gel had already chillier so I went back in to fix it and not even an hour later it chipped again. I as well have a massive bubble on my other thumb that was very obnoxious. Not even a week later my nail snapped off. I will not be returning due to this. read more

This used to be awsome spot to get your nails done when Lee owned it since then she has turned it over to some relatives and it is absolutely horrible they do a rushed job. Hmmmmm went here with a friend for the first time... normally I try to keep it simple but decided to try something new. I just wanted simple stars but they came out uneven and weird looking. I will be keeping them on but will say I did it myself.. if you want a design get a flower it's pretty hard to mess those up.... I mean so are stars but oh well... I guess come here for a good pedi and normal color. But designs probably not the best place(: will come back for regular pedicures. Parafin treatment was 30.00 pretty normal. Aside from the poor design skills lol they left a little polish on my skin on my big toe so that's why I gave it a 3. But cleanliness is a 4 read more

I came here because it's near the place I get a wax and it had decent reviews. Don't come here. The people were very nice and kept telling me how happy I'd be with my gel manicure, how the quality would be great and they'd take care of me. This is the worst shellac manicure I have ever received. The polish is globbed on my nails. There are little bubbles in the polish and it literally looks like it's rippling on my nails. When I told the manicurist that the polish was way too thick and there were bubbles in it, he told me "that's how gel looks," and if I want thin, smooth polish, I should get a regular manicure. I've gotten dozens of shellac manicures, none of them have ever been of this poor quality. I've gotten far better gel manicures in the Springs from other places. Don't come here. The price is comparable to a dozen other places and the quality is far worse. read more

The worst experience I've ever had. Was kind but vocal about how unhappy I was with them and the tech acted like I wasn't there. Other employees seemed to notice how bad they were and did nothing. Photos were taken right outside the salon in my car after they were dried and "OK"d by another tech. More upset by the fact the other techs didn't speak up or try and make things right. Absolutely awful. Took them off as soon as I got home. read more

It's hard to a straight man and find a place that will give me a mani/pedi without clowning me. I speak Korean, Vietnamese, and Thai, so I continually hear them make fun of my "behind my back". The new management and staff is terrible and it seems the regular polish has went down with it.

I went back last week for a manicure. Another lady ended up doing my eyebrows. I have thick eyebrows and I liked them like that, well I told the lady just to clean them up a little.
