11 days after my daughter and my pedicure even with gel! Didn't even last for my vacation. Not happy/not thrilled. I was able to peel the polish off with my finger nails with ease. Usually it take a file or dremel to take off gel. I won't be going back or giving friends my referral. Went in on Saturday 7/6 to get hard gel manicure. I had a good experience when I went in for my appointment and I was happy with my nails. It's now 7/11 and I notice one of my of the hard gel nails was completely off my nail and I started to look at my nails and all of the hard gel was starting to separate from my nails. I now only have three nails left... Called to see about getting the nails fixed but couldn't get me in until Monday 7/15 which okay fine but at this point I had no interest in getting the hard gel. I just was hoping to get a regular gel manicure. What really upset me is the fact they are not willing to refund me the difference in price for the different service!!! Which they absolutely should since I was just in there 6 days ago. I definitely will not be returning to this nail salon again. Huge waste of money read more

It was first time trying out this place to get an acrylic fill. I didn't realize it was by appointment only, but I appreciate that because they don't overbook themselves. It was a very clean and organized salon. Emily did my fill and they came out perfect! I'm so happy with the results. I booked for another appointment 3 weeks out. My nails have held up through painting my house, working on my ranch, and everyday wear and tear. They still look perfect! I'm so happy I found this place! read more

The three times I've been to this salon I've had appointments and each time I've been made to wait 15-25 minutes for my appointment to start. Today they called me at the time of my appointment exactly to leave a message "hoping [i] was on my way" just so I could hurry up and wait over 25 minutes for the nail tech to finish shopping at Walmart. I told the owner that I couldn't wait 20 minutes for my appointment this time, as the chairs hurt my back (I am 39 weeks pregnant) but again I ended up waiting over 20 minutes. When the nail tech finally arrived she seemed irritated that I didn't already know what type of pedicure I wanted - with no wall signs and no one giving me any information I'm not sure how I was supposed to know what my options were. After the consistent waits and rude staff, today I just left. If you're looking for a relaxing, timely service don't go here. read more

Second time having a bad experience with this place. The first time, I was getting dip and the technician cut my cuticles so low that two began to bleed! The technician barely apologized and offered nothing for the damage. After months away from this place,I decided to give them a try for a pedicure today. Made an appointment for 11:00am and when I came in the technician told me that I had the time wrong. Mind you, I had just gotten off the phone with the lady 20 minutes prior confirming the time. It's okay, if you guys made a mistake, just say that, don't try and gaslight the customer and make them feel like you got it wrong. Will not recommend this place to anyone. Update: Decided to give this place one last shot after waiting many months. Walked in for a simple pedicure. The three technicians up front did not greet me, just looked up and quickly looked back down, I just stood there until finally a lady who was doing a pedi in the back yelled up how she could help. I asked if they had time for a pedi. She said 10 minutes. At the 19 minute mark of waiting, with no update, a white lady came in and was cheerfully greeted by all 3 front nail technicians. Really starting to suspect racism at this point. I left after that without service. I am disgusted. Please go down the street next to Safeway, Walmart, or elsewhere. read more

I have enjoyed this place a few times since they opened but it only takes one bad experience to ruin a nice thing...so here it is. I made an appointment for 4pm and when I walked in there were 2 people waiting and all technicians were helping clients. Only one of the ladies waiting had an appointment (I heard them check in) but the technician that I was scheduled with helped the one without the appointment instead of helping me as soon as she was done. If she had helped me (the person with an appointment first) I only would have waited 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment but instead it took 45 minutes past that to even get started. I got the basic pedi since now I'm crunched for time so it was so so and the polish job was subpar and he actually put on another coat after I pointed it out. After he was done he was unaware I had even scheduled a mani but I passed when he asked 3 mins later if I needed one. Being keen on customer service, my advice to this salon would be to offer a free upgrade when scheduled appointments have to wait 10 mins past, maybe 15 cause I know they take walk ins despite scheduled services are right around the corner. I would have rated them a 5 a few appointments ago but this one bad apple left a horrible taste! read more

Pedicure was above average. Leg waxing wasn't at all bad. But I will never return due to sporadic application, over 50% of leg was not waxed. It took 90 minutes and I was out of patience and time. read more

My daughter and I went here for manicures and pedicures because we had a coupon. My daughter's manicure was ok and she liked the girl that did her nails. I wish I could say the same about my pedicure. The nail technician was unfriendly even after we came in early because she called and told me she had a cancellation. The worst part was the bench I had to sit on for the pedicure. It is just a wooden bench placed right on the wall. You have to sit perfectly upright and put your feet in a vessel sink for the pedicure. It was very uncomfortable and I would certainly not return for another try. I really wonder about some of the excellent reviews I am reading for this place and will be interested to see if my review gets deleted again. Amazing Nail Spa! My hubby and I had incredible pedicures today. He had the Essence Pedi and I had the Organic Pedi. The products they used were fabulous! The person who did my pedicure and manicure was Brian. He wasn't very personable but he did a pretty good job. The other people there all seemed friendly, and the place was clean. I would go here again, except I don't understand why they upcharge for things that should definitely be included. The prices are a little high to begin with, and then callous removal is another $5. Isn't that why you get a pedicure? To smooth out the bottom of your feet? Then I wanted buff instead of polish on my nails. Polish is included, but buff is $5 more. It's less work and materials. Why would you charge more?? The thing that really did it though is I wasn't told in advance. I've paid $40 for a deluxe pedicure and basic manicure for ever where I used to live. And this salon charged $47 for a BASIC pedi and mani, plus the $10 extra for things that should be included. The deluxe pedi I'm used to would have been $10 more on top of that. I might have been ok with to all of it, but I won't be returning because I wasn't told it was extra. They did a good job, though, and everyone was friendly and the business was clean, so if that's what you are looking for, then this is a good place. read more

By far this is the best nail spa that I have ever ever been to. Customer service was excellent! My nail tech (Ashley) was extremely knowledgeable and very informative. She gave me "homework" to help some of the issues that I have always had with my skin and scheduled my next appointment. The staff made me feel seen and heard. They were all dressed professionally and looked and acted very professional, as well. The spa was very bright and clean. The polish selection was awesome and not an overwhelming selection of odd and end colors. I will not go anywhere else. Ever. This place is amazing! So impressed! read more

My mom the first time she went to Essence Nails and Spa she loved it, so she recommended it for me. The time I decide to go there it was HORRIBLE. The guy who attended me I think was great, but he asked me to pick the color and I said this one, but he said it wouldn't go with the design. The color he picked was worst for the design which is why I said to just leave the color because all I watch him do was talk to his friends when I was waiting for him. He was so unprofessional worst experience ever. I should of picked the color since I am the one who is paying which is what made me mad. Also after that I accidentally messed up the color and he gave me an attitude and got mad at me. It was the worst you can't have an attitude when you are a service business. After the attitude it was when I saw him talking with his friend I was like I am done. Which is why I knew he didn't want to do anything like if you have a customer pay attention to them give them what they want. Also don't give them an attitude even if you are tired at work, but still. The worst experience never coming back if I am getting attended by him.
