Jimmy did an excellent job on my refill. Although he was unable to do my French manicure on my acrylic nails with powder his painting skills for the French manicure were impeccable. He was very nice and it too an hour. It was packed when we had gotten there but we had called ahead of time for an appointment. i came here with a friend for the first time, i don't usually go to nail salons because they never know what they are doing and don't do exactly what people ask for and charge overly too much. the picture is my INSPO that i asked for, the lady that was doing my nails said they have none of those charms... the video is what i ended up leaving with... y'all are a nail salon how do you not have anything?? also when they sat me down she just automatically started doing gel x, which i didnt ask for and she could've asked me if i wanted gel x or acrylic first before just putting stuff on my nails. i asked for STILETTO. this is not what stiletto is like come on. i like it skinny and very pointy which is what a stiletto nail shape IS. she tried shaping it but i felt like she was lazy with it!!! i was irritated at this point and just wanted to go home but i needed my nails done for an event and my personal nail tech wasn't available. the french tips on the nails are all different sizes as in the shape on the french and its sloppy and the lines are all wiggly to me. and some of the nails shapes doesn't match the other hand. she was a sweet older lady but i just don't think she needs to continue to work there... sorry. these are not real NAIL technicians they just do whatever THEY WANT when you tell them and then get upset when you try to tell them otherwise. i had also came back later that day BECAUSE THE THUMB BROKE NOT EVEN AN HOUR LATER SAME DAY?? i told them can i try to come back and reshape them and get them done again the guy who works at the near front receptionist desk told me YES COME AT 9 AM NEXT DAY, I SAID OKAY! and i made the appointment for next day, showed up. and they are fully booked? and the receptionist told me come back at 11? um no. i had an appointment at 9am and i have somewhere to be. if they know people have appointments they should be ready to take those people in when they show up FOR THEIR APPOINTMENT why are you making them wait or even make the appointment if yall aren't going to tend to them. unprofessional!!! then at that point i'm upset i told them you know what please take these off because i'm not keeping something i do not LIKE on for however many weeks. and also asked for refund. they made me wait another hour just to take 15 minutes for removal... seriously? then when i was done i said can i have my refund? and the guy who told me come back next day was looking and sounding confused? mind you i paid almost 100 for these... did he think he could keep my money while i left WITH NO NAILS? HELLO!??? i said i need my refund i have nothing on my nails and they were terrible. he looked at me and says "you said there were fine that you were okay when you left" i think he forgot that i had came back that same day and showed him exactly what i asked for and he told me come back? and i told him no i came that morning at 9 when he told me and yall didn't take me?? so no i wanted my refund since i got them removed and he seemed to be irritated with my and upset because im asking for MY MONEY back after they did a shit job? yeah okay. anyways don't come here nails salons nowadays don't give a crap about people's inspirations or what they ask for. barely have the supplies too. you get what you get and they want you to accept it and pay over 100's of dollars for bare minimum. i go to a personal nail tech who does 10000% BETTER and charges me less than 75 for what i asked for at the nail salons. they are a joke. don't. come. here. !!!! read more

I was yelled at in the middle of a nail salon today by the person doing my nails. The nail tech who did my set made racist comments about her own ethnicity (Vietnamese), Chinese, and White people, all within a single appointment. She also proudly told me she has been doing nails since 2004, that she's probably been doing nails longer than I've been alive. You would never know it. For anyone considering visiting, I'd take your business elsewhere to avoid unprompted personal insults and being publicly yelled at by the person doing my service. From the moment I sat down with my nail tech, a Viet woman with short hair, a mint green button down shirt, and rotting teeth, the experience was off. There was no greeting, no "How are you?" Instead, her first words to me were "You're Asian? You look Korean or Japanese, which one are you?" I told her I'm Korean. Later in the appointment, she looked at me and said I actually look Chinese. Okay? I don't know why my ethnicity was a topic of conversation at all. She then commented that I had "let myself go" and "had nowhere to go" because the nails I came in with were short and bare. I hadn't gotten my nails done in a while intentionally, to let them grow and heal. That comment was unnecessary and rude. When I mentioned I had recently moved from California and brought up the large Vietnamese community in Orange County, she told me she knew about it and that she doesn't like it. She doesn't like when the city has too many Vietnamese people. She explicitly said she does NOT want to be around a lot of Vietnamese people. She then went on a rant about how when too many Asian people live in one city, they never learn English because they only speak their native language among themselves. This is coming from a woman who still has a noticeable accent and struggled to pronounce certain words throughout my entire appointment. The hypocrisy and the racism were insane. At one point she accused me of biting my nails. I told her I have never done that, and anyone who looked at my nails could see there were no signs of biting. Rather than moving on, she decided to add that "White people bite their nails a lot." On to the actual nail service: I came in with a reference photo of a french nail set I had gotten previously. I wasn't aware at the time that the shape in the photo was more round than almond, since I'm so used to getting almond. Before she began painting, I asked her to file them back to almond because I preferred that shape. When she got to the french tip, the white line looked uneven to me, thicker on one side than the other. When I tried to explain this, there was a language barrier and she thought I was asking her to extend the white all the way down along the sides. She then went on an antagonistic rant telling me that the reason it looked different from my photo was because the photo was round and I asked for almond, so the difference was my fault. She was extremely condescending and made me feel like I had no right to voice a concern. When the UV set and I looked at the final result, I noticed visible air bubbles, tiny dots, on the first three fingers of my right hand. You could both see and feel the texture. When I pointed this out, she blatantly denied they existed. She pretended she couldn't see them or feel them at all. I could tell she was becoming agitated, and then it happened: she had a loud, angry outburst. She was loud enough that I believe everyone in the salon heard. She snapped at me to "TELL ME IF YOU WANT ME TO FIX IT INSTEAD OF GOING TO MY BOSS AND COMPLAINING YOU WEREN'T HAPPY!!!!" She also made a point of gesturing to how many customers were in the salon, as if my appointment had been an inconvenience to her. I felt so uncomfortable and frankly unsafe in that moment that I didn't feel I could ask her to redo anything. I just wanted to leave. I sincerely hope management reviews this and takes it seriously. This nail tech's behavior is embarrassing and unacceptable. I genuinely hope you do not hire her for the sake of your future business. I will not be returning, and I'll be sharing my experience wherever I can. read more

We were able to do walk in appointments for a pedicure for me and a manicure for a friend with no wait. Pedicure was fabulous but I did want to upgrade but was not offered a menu until mid pedicure. One big suggestion is have the menus available in the seating area. The only place I saw them was in the actual chairs and was never asked by my tech which I would like. This place has many scheduling mishaps including not knowing what the appt. clients booked all observed while I was in the waiting area. I went there looking for Chi Nails since I had set up an appt on the phone. I was surprised that it was this business. The women I had an appt with barely spent anytime on my nails. I have natural nails and try to take care of them. This tech pulls out tools from a box that was no way sanitized. She barely look at my nails and didn't even shape them. Pedicure is ok. Salon itself is dirty; upon taking my shoes off by the pedicure chair, the floor has dirt and dirty water. The technician assigned to do my pedicure was texting in between each step, so it really added on a ton of extra time to the service that I didn't have. Had to skip manicure and leave early. I'm guilty after walking out paying $60 for a pedicure that genuinely looks like I attempted at home. Sad and disappointed, they had a good rating on here. I would not reccomend. read more

I recently moved to the Springs and was looking for a really good nail salon, not wanting to drive an hour to my usual go-to. This is the first place I came across and decided to give it a try and they did NOT disappoint! Oh my god the service. I was greeted with smiles by literally everyone (and there were a lot of staff) as soon as I walked into my 9 AM appointment. I was seated immediately for the most relaxing pedicure I've ever received. I forgot to ask the name of the gentleman who did my pedicure but he was amazing. My gel rebase turned out fabulous as well. My technician knew what she was doing and was so detail-oriented. I left the salon at 10:10. An hour and ten minutes for a gel pedicure and gel rebase is amazing compared to the 2 hours minimum I spend at my go-to in Aurora. The salon is clean and has a very relaxing vibe. Their gentle work along with the music they play really makes you want to take a nap. I would highly recommend these guys for work you wouldn't regret! read more

I had my first full set ever yesterday. I asked for short nails, but I ended up with medium/long. I was clearly not happy at the appointment. I said I'd give it a day or two to see if I could get used to them. I couldn't. I went to get them fixed, I got a 3 minute chop job with no shaping or filing. I have very blunt and crooked nails. Headed out of town this week for a much needed vacation and wanted to get some nails so I don't look like I've been cooped up for over a year. Did tons of research since I'm hella picky and found JC Nails. The location was pretty out in the open yet kind of off the beaten path since it's in a very deserted shopping center. They say walk ins are welcome but definitely recommend an appointment. I happened to be off today and just stopped in. They didn't seem to have the time so I offered to come back later or the next day, whenever they had something open. Minutes later a nail tech came over for me. I got a full set of acrylics with gel polish and it was so fast! Cherry was my nail tech and she was completely receptive to my critiques. Not that there were many but everyone is different and wanted to make sure that I wouldn't end up like Edward Scissorhands since it's been forever that I've had nails. Found out that they have a rewards program attached to your phone number. I didn't quite catch exactly what it means since there was a lot going on when she was trying to tell me about it but I believe you get credits towards future services. I was surprised how mixed my experience at JC nails was. The woman who did my toes was friendly and helpful when I was having a hard time picking my color. She did a great job on my toes as well. The woman who did my nails made me feel like I was inconveniencing her when I would ask her to cut my nails shorter or when the color I picked didn't turn out like the sample nail and I wanted to put a base color underneath. In addition she was rushed and cut me while cutting my cuticles without any apology. While I had a good experience with the lady that did my toes, the woman who did my nails was clearly indifferent whether or not I was satisfied with the service I was receiving. read more

What can I say? This place does a great job with nails. There is a big selection of pedicures and th e prices are very reasonable. Always make an appointment! I can't stress this enough. They are always booked, even at times you wouldn't expect them to be. I always get gel for the long lasting color. The only reason I'm taking a star off is because even with an appointment, usually it's about 15 min after my scheduled appointment that I actually get in. I enjoyed the JC Spa pedicure. The dip nail service was ok, but the powdered overlay began coming off after less than 2 weeks. That has never happened before with other salons. It usually lasts over a month (when I'm traveling for work, unfortunately it sometimes takes that long before I can get back to a nail salon). The person who did my pedicure was not the same to do my dip nail service. Both were nice, but again, the quality of the work wasn't the same. My pedicure polish lasted a long time without any chipping. I would recommend the pedicure services, but they could use some improvement on the quality of their dip nail service. read more
