I went with my wife for pedicures today. This was only my second time having a pedicure. We were met at the door and immediately guided to a couple of open seats. No reservations needed, walk-ins welcome! A gut named Harry took care of my wife's feet and a wonderful young lady named Courtney took on the challenge of my feet. The chairs have built-in massage, so that was awesome. Dipped my feet in the luxurious warm, great smelling water. Okay, I honestly don't know all the steps we went through, but there was foot and leg massaging, warm paraffin wax, some cheese-gratering, smoothing, sugar scrubbing and more. Courtney was so pleasant and funny and she has very strong hands. She made me so comfortable with the whole process. I did find out that my feet are surprisingly ticklish, but even that was fun(ny). I succumbed to peer pressure from my wife and other customers and even allowed my nails to be painted a very macho shade of jet black. All-in-all, this was a super fun and relaxing way to spend some time getting self-care. I highly recommend Fancy Nails Spa! read more

4 Oct 23 - visited this nail salon for the first time and had asked for Courtney because I had read good reviews about her. When I got to the salon she was not there so the owner called her and she came to take care of me. She gave me a great pedicure/manicure. Turned out she is the owners daughter. When I went to pay the bill however I was shocked because she charged me $92 and I handed her a $10 cash bill so I ended paying $102 and did not get a receipt. I have never paid that much for a pedicure/manicure in the Springs so I will not be going back. read more

I have been coming here for about a years and I love the welcoming I get when I come in. Everyone from the owner to the employees are always so pleasant, funny and interactive. Aside from that, Chanel put her personal touch on my nails. I told her I was renewing my wedding vows next week, showed her a few pics of what I liked and she freestyles a full set for me. My husband loved her and Tina for his pedicures....they have great attention to detail! I love it here! read more

Kind of disappointed. I hate when you try to speak up and say what you want only to be told that it is "exactly" what you asked for. I already triple check if someone can do what I show them. When I asked for a second coat, he said "this is a design so you don't get a second coat." But I can see through the color. He added way too much pink, so I asked about that and he said "you don't have the natural nail for this." To which I responded that I was OK with my natural nail showing where the tips meet. The orange lines are so bad, and he kept asking if I was happy and I told him no, and asked if he was happy with his work? Then he said "don't leave me a bad review" and I told him I'm telling him in person that they aren't very clean and he could have done better. Then he charged me $78 for these because they are "designs." I'm bummed, I thought this was my new place. Two stars for the nice guy who asked if everything was ok when I left and one for my nail tech because he wasn't rude, but he wasn't listening to me, either. A full set with gel is $55- he charged me 23 more for a blurry orange line... read more

I decided on the spur of the moment after leaving the grocery store to step inside this salon and ask if they could give me a dip with extensions. I wanted the pink and white ombré and they said yes, it's one of the things they specialize in. I read previous reviews and was a tad bit skeptical, but what impressed me over other salons was that the owner took the time to address bad reviews by offering to help the unhappy customers instead of attacking the customers. Well I gave them a try and I'm so happy I did! Not only were they super friendly when I walked in, they sat me quickly and gave me exactly what I wanted! Very happy to have found this salon and I will be back! :) read more

Went in for a simple deep French with a heart on one nail. Was told they could do this after looking at the inspiration picture. The manager said "easy, simple." 3 techs later and they cannot do the deep French so I settle for the basic French that she hand painted on rather than cleaning away. The heart was also a flop and when I said it didn't look right they told me my finger was crooked. When it was all said and done I walked away with a basic French and fill for $63. Never paid more than $50 anywhere and Ive had a better experience at KP nails, Nailcessity, Premier nails.. I'll just go to those places instead where I won't be price gouged for having a coffin shape nail. Please. read more

Howie did such a beautiful job on my Valentine's nails! He was so nice and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. I'll be coming back to him again! The time before I wandered in here to have my old set removed and the lady who did it was so gentle. She didn't just rip them off she soaked them and took her time. I'm so grateful for that! read more

We were traveling through and I found this spa. I received a gel manicure, still looks nice after almost three weeks! Great place!

June was AMAZING! Her attention to detail and precision with the most intricate of designs were incredible. She has a great eye and vision for what colors complement and how the overall design comes together. I could tell she was super careful and considerate of my comfort with each step, so I felt taken care of the whole time, and overall the experience was great! I did the powder with gel designs on top - they're durable and beautiful. I'm excited to show off my new beautiful nails! read more

Fancy Nails Spa - Full set acrylic with gel art by Bruce - Nail Salons Near Me - Colorado Springs, Colorado

I've come here 3 times and the second time with Howie was my best experience. This last time I came, 2 different people did my nails. I just wanted a fill for my acrylics and some cute flower design. The man who removed my previous polish was very rough and gave me claw nails instead of almond like I asked for (almond was also my precious shape) and they're all uneven. It's like they were just rushing me. The colors I chose on the swatches did not match the colors they put on me. I'm not sure if they were old, not shaken or what. But now I'm stuck with Mac and cheese colored nails. The girl who did my flower design rushed it (I saw them walk out the back when I was in my car). She didn't use the colors I asked for. I was also charged for a full acrylic set instead of just a fill. They were not clear on pricing at ALL. My first experience here was okay, but the girl could not do the design I wanted. I wanted the ying-yang sign and left with just a black swirl in the middle of my finger. Which I was disappointed with but I was in a hurry so I just left it and thought maybe she didn't know how to do designs. Also, I could tell by the negative tone and when half the staff surrounded me that they were talking bad about me/my nails in their language. 100% not okay in any establishment. All the staff here doesn't wear masks properly. It's all chin diapers. Safe to say I won't be coming back, and I'll most likely just buy my own gel set on Amazon instead of paying people who don't listen to customer requests. I am only giving two stars because Howie was amazing the second time I went. So if you actually decide to go here, I suggest requesting Howie to do your acrylics. Because he listens, makes sure everything is perfect before going on, and offered water/wine/soda. read more

Went here for a pedicure and was left soaking my feet in the tub for over 20 min while I waited for the workers to finish up with their other clients. After a while I just took my feet out completely because they were getting super wrinkled and pruny. I had a plane to catch so when it was clear they wouldn't be able to finish my in time for mw to leave I started to get up when the girl said she could do a rush job if I needed to leave right away. I gave in and said sure. My mistake because when she scraped/grated my feet she accidentally scraped too deep and cut my toe. I asked for neosporin and a bandaid which she gave me. The gal then asked if I wanted gels I told her I normally don't but she and her coworkers said that the gels would dry faster if I was really in a hurry, so I agreed. When I went to pay I was charged $52. My sister was with me and pointed out I should get a discount since I got injured. One of the main gals came up and said they would give me the gels for free because I had to wait a long time to get started. I ended up paying $37 (price for an express pedicure which includes massage, cuticle cleaning, and hot towels) and not getting all the services. Literally overpaid and was injured in the process. Luckily I don't live here, but I'll make sure my friends and family don't go here either. read more

Fancy Nails Spa - Cut on my toe after taking the grater to my super soft skin from being left to soak too long - Nail Salons Near Me - Colorado Springs, Colorado

Save the frustration, go to LK Nail & Spa This place is TERRIBLE customer service. We arrived at our appointment (ON TIME) and were seated. About 10 minutes goes by and 2 more people walk in. We were forced to give them our seats even though they were 10 minutes late. They were sat in our seats and we were forced to sit outside. They tried to explain themselves and it was complete crap. I told them I understand that covid was messing things up but why were we moved outside and 2 ladies were able to sit right where we were. They finally let us in but refused to let my friend and I sit together even though the 2 women who were now in our seats were able to be next to one another. Went to LK Nail & Spa and received excellent service and work. read more

Just because there is a language barrier, doesn't mean I couldn't understand terrible customer service. Despite being polite and considerate, it was obvious I was being mocked by the workers, when I asked if they could turn down the music they told several jokes amongst themselves then said, "sorry we don't speak english" to me. I saw them take down fake appointments (just come in ladies, you are going to wait regardless) and call customers "Mushy" like the dogs name, bc they thought no one was listening. I shouldn't have to feel bullied by the people doing my nails. When they saw I was getting upset, they over exaggerated being nice, super awkward, nothing I did was right. It like some Seinfeld episode nightmare. If you don't like your job or industry, sorry, I really just wanted my nails done. And if you think they are mocking/talking about you...at least here...they probably are! read more

I was really impressed with the customer service here. I just moved to the area and they were very nice and welcoming. I got a gel manicure on 5/13 and 3 days later my thumb started to peel (on 5/16) they got me in to fix it later that day. Now today (5/18) only 5 days after my gel manicure, all of the remaking nails started to peel. Literally all of them. I peeled them all off and the thumb is still in tact, but I won't be surprised when it starts to peel in a few days. Very frustrating considering the great team service I received. I just don't feel like putting in the effort to go and get them fixed a second time. Will be going elsewhere. Sucks to pay $100 (manicure and pedicure) and have it be worthless 5 days later. read more

I went in on Saturday & got a pedicure. It was good. No issues. I asked for waxing of my lip & chin as well & was taken to that area of the location. The woman who did it was very rough. She completed my lip & then moved to my chin. After washing was done. I felt her doing something unfamiliar to my chin area. I opened my eyes & saw she was using a razor blade, not attached to a razor, on my chin! I asked her what she was doing & she immediately opened a drawer & ticked the razor blade away. I asked her why she would do that & all of a sudden, she wasn't talking... she didn't really respond. I felt like there was a language barrier issue but she should have NEVER used a razor of any kind. I told her to stop as she continued to try to apply oil to my skin. I stood up & she continued to try to wipe my face. I told her to stop. I walked to the front, talked to the manager/ owner as I was paying. He acted like he had no idea of the process or why she would use a razor. He offered no compensation. That's fine. He said he'd talk to her. I'm left questioning how unsanitary this was!! Was the razor used on others in the same manner? To be tucked into a random drawer? Dirty & unsanitary. This totally erased the satisfaction I had in my pedi. It made me question everything about their practices. If I had wanted to SHAVE my face, I didn't need to pay a stranger, with a dirty razor to do it. I would have stayed home. I'm disgusted & would caution anyone thinking about using their services. read more

Very disappointing. I've been coming here off and on for 2 years. The nail tech seemed like I was wasting his time and he was in such a hurry. I would give them a 0 for customer service, nail shaping and painting the nails. They over charged me. My nails are already coming off after an hour after leaving. Do not waste your money. 2 full sets and one pedicure cost 193.00 no tip included. read more

Okay, super long. I've been to this nail salon twice now. The first time the pedicure was really good, no dry skin left on my feet afterwards, completely smooth and great service. I wanted to give it a second chance to see if this would be my regular place for a pedicure. This second time was just not worth the money at all, and honestly just an AWFUL experience. The woman that did my pedicure rushed it completely. She did not do everything that was even included in the pedicure, for the scrubbing of the bottom of my feet she used the brush once upwards and was done. No dead skin removal, or smoothing (the bottom of my feet feel worse than when I went in).She told me to wait for 20 min for toes to dry. This was not a big deal to wait at all. I waited 20 min she said I'm good to put my sandals on and go. As soon as I put them on the polish smudged my entire big toe (my fault). I asked her to fix that toe and apologized. Here is where I was shocked... Instead of removing any polish tries to just paint over the smudged nail. While she is doing this her glove messes up my two toe nails next to it. I'm looking shocked while my toes just keep getting worse and worse. I asked her if we could just take the polish off those three and repaint them with my sandal on to avoid messing it up. She kept telling me the entire time this wouldn't happen if you would have just gotten gel. I just don't prefer gel on my toes and I've never had this happen before, I really think it was due to rushing, and I just wish it was done so much better. Unfortunately I won't be returning, but I hope your experience is better than mine!! read more

Called and made an appointment earlier in the week and got there right on time. Had to wait for 25 minutes. The person who did my nails didn't bother to clean the area after he finished the person before me. I had to ask that the area get wiped down. Was very dissatisfied. read more
