I have been coming to this salon on and off for 13 years, but probably no more. The last time I visited I had a hot stone pedicure and a gel manicure (I was there for 90 minutes total, so obviously a rushed job on both). The gentleman doing my pedicure, Henry, was super nice as always, but he cut my foot with the callus remover, probably because he was rushing to take care of his next customer. Also, the gel polish on a couple of my nails came off after only three days, which has never happened to me before! I was overseas at the time to celebrate a milestone birthday and couldn't fix the nail, which looked awful, and I was also limping because of the open cut on my foot the whole time I was there. I called for pricing and to make an appointment. I made it clear I wanted nails, not a manicure. I showed up for my appointment and it was made for a manicure so not enough time for nails. I had to come back. The new price quoted for pink and white before I left was now more. The tips were more, the acrylic was more, the polish was more..., everything I wanted was $5 more. It's like Johnny starts out with a low price to get you in and then increases it with each thing you want. He also talked me out of everything I was asking for. Then a lady sat next to me and asked for silver polish on her tips and he insisted it wouldn't be noticeable. Eventually she broke down and gave into him and let him talk her into a full nail of silver as she rolled her eyes. It wasn't what she wanted but he wasn't giving up until she gave in. Then after the nail tips were on me he began cutting them and THEN asked me if that was okay AFTER they were already short....very short. Basically I paid $65 to have NOT pink and white nails that were painted pink (my least favorite color) that were so short they didn't even come above the tips of my fingers. Who pays to get nails that are cut so short they don't extend beyond the tip of your finger? I should've left when the price went up before he started doing anything. read more

The staff at Elite nails is the best. I drive 20 miles to come here because they do such a great job on my nails. They ensure you leave feeling great! I always get compliments on my nails, so I know it is not just my opinion. I also recognize many of the patrons who come here...this place has built up a loyal clientele....and that speaks volumes! The staff are friendly, but won't talk to you much. I got a shellac manicure and within two days the edges are already lifting! I am so disappointed as for $30 I expect the gel to last longer than regular polish. I already have two FULL nails that have come off and it's only been 6 days. I have never had shellac last such a short amount of time. The massage was a complete joke (5 seconds each arm). I guess I'll still be hunting for a nail salon in springs that has good quality AND isn't overpriced. read more

I had good service and I appreciated it (and I would have gone back regularly with how the initial time went) but I've never had a pedicure not last like this one. The morning after my pedicure one nail had no polish left at all and another one had half of the polish left. I went back and they agreed to put more polish on for free (at first they said they'd redo it for $10 which I did not want to do). They seemed surprised it didn't last, as was I. A few days later two different nails had no polish left and several others had partial polish. I don't think I did anything different than usual- I don't know if it was the polish or what. We actually came in here by mistake, I confused it with a nail farther down the road that I like better. Wife unit noticed that they did not do as good a job as the other two places we have used as far as removing the calluses from her heel. Both of the other places do a much more thorough job. They do not do a good job of massaging calves and feet. Their price, $25 is as much as the more expensive place and more that the $21 we pay at the better place we were heading for when I turned into the wrong strip mall. On the positive side, the facility was clean, there was good space between the chairs and it was not crowded. read more

I went to this salon because I am new to Colorado Springs and I needed to find a place to fix my ingrown toe nails the way my old place used to. Well, the guy told me that he could do it, but he was completely distracted with the little girl (although very cute) running around the salon. Needless to say, he didn't do the job the way I had wanted and his massage wasn't that great either. I also got my nails done by the woman, I believe her name was Tammy. She was very gentle, but again distracted with what was going on around her. The place is owned by three people. A husband and wife and the husband's brother. They are very nice people and do well at customer service, I just wish they would have done a better job on my nails. I will not be visiting again, even if it is close to my house. The salon also wasn't within my price range that I was used to in Denver, which I found really strange. Worst experience EVER. I guess the owners were out of town so they left the ones who are terrible to run the place. First of all I haven't had a mani/pedi since July 1st so you can imagine that my toenails would be long enough to shape evenly. NOPE. Totally cut way too short and so uneven that I have to wait until they've grown out to try and fix it. Then, you pay for a "Spa" pedicure and all you get is lotion. Literally. Little bit of lotion slapped on and that is it. Not even a little massage. Same goes of the hands. Nothing but uneven nails. EVERY single one. Also when I went to sit down there was dirty water in the sink and he said "that's okay, you'll be fine"!! So disgusting! And the grand finale was the waxing "lady". I needed my lip done and she took almost solid wax and stretched my face all the way out and up my CHEEK to wax my lip. Last time I checked my cheek is not my lip. I've had something called a forehead flap and basically the skin on my nose is from my scalp so sometimes it grows blonde little hairs and I asked her to wax it and she yelled at the brother of the owner something and he said she said she won't do it. YELLING! The surgeries are over 10 years old and you can't even tell so she was out of line all together and not to mention making me more insecure about the scars in front of people! All she wanted to do is take her shoes off and jump in the chair and eat her cookies. I never write reviews but this was awful. I've been getting my nails for for 20 years now and I have NEVER experienced a circus like this. Do NOT GO HERE and if the owners see this just know that it wasn't the older women who acted like that. She was the "younger" and obviously mouthy one. The brother's the one that butchered all my nails and slapped lotion as if he was massaging me like I paid for!!! Make me so UPSET! =( read more

The place was clean and the massage chairs were very comfortable. However, I got the sense that the employees cared more about packing more people in than taking care of people who were already there. We were ignored when we made requests, and my sister's toenails were cut different lengths. They were not at all attentive to our needs. They were also rude on the phone. I did not feel pampered, but stressed out being there. Also, who wants to watch golf on the television for three hours? We bought three full packages, so I ended up spending more than $200. We had an appointment for 3 people. When we arrived they asked us to sit in the pedicure chairs. They started with the 2 I was with and didn't even acknowledge me. I had to ask them to turn on/ add water to the bowl so I could at least soak my feet while I waited. Over 30 minutes later they came over to start my pedicure, at this time the 2 people I was with were already almost done with their pedicures, so I was not even able to get it done. Just as an intro, I'm super picky. Johnny was very quick to help me at my latest visit. I went for a fill, but he said he couldn't fix what had been lifted. He removed my lifted nails by placing a large nail tip underneath. It was damaging to my nails, however, it was quick. The only complaint I had was one of the nails that was super thick (done by a different salon) split while he did this. Instead of removing it, he filed it down to keep my nail intact. He then gently filed my natural nail, added tips that actually fit my whole nail (thank you), and added the acrylic. He did cut me once when he filed the acrylic, but was quick to apologize and make sure it didn't happen again. Overall, it did hurt a bit, but my nails look very very beautiful, and pretty natural. read more

I went last Sunday and was disappointed in the job one of the techs had done on a full set. My nails were obnoxiously thick and had glue stuck under every nail. The tech was becoming frustrated she couldn't get it off and Johnny, the owner, came over and tried to help. He filed down my nails but I left unhappy. My friend had a full set too, and hers looked nice. As the next few days passed, every nail lifted on the sides, the gel chipped, and they were embarrassing. I called Johnny on Tuesday to see what he could do since I left unhappy. I scheduled an appointment today for 1pm. When I arrived he said my nails had grown out and he was still going to charge me to fix the botched job his tech did. I walked out and went to my usual nail lady who was able to fix the mess Elite Nails had caused. I spent $111 on a manicure and full set. Not worth it. Very disappointed. read more

If I could give zero stars to this place, I would. I used to go to Elite Nails a lot a few years ago and they were awesome. But I went just recently (July 20,2017) and my nails are chipped beyond belief. It looks like I've had then done two weeks ago. I'm not very happy, so I called Elite and talked to Johnny and asked if I could get a refund and he was very rude to me and all he said, essentially, was that he couldn't help me because they only do refund 1 or 2 days after you get them done and they are chipping. Then he said "you want to come back and get shellac? It lasts longer" all he cares about is his money and he wasn't understanding at all. NEVER go to this salon. read more
