I'm so glad I went to Sassy Nails!! The salon I was going to try happened to be closed that day, so I'm so glad my fate brought me to Sassy's. Everyone was so kind from the moment we stepped in. This was actually the best pedicure I've ever had. Not only did my pedicurist pay great detail to my nails (and mind you I asked for a different color on each nail lol), but he actually gave my feet/legs a massage. But not just any massage. He was bending my feet back and forth and touching a pressure point on my heel that I'm sure was supposed to help. I feel like most times I get a pedicure they do a rushed job of it all and don't even care to massage deeply or get the nail polish to the edges of the nail. I've only been here twice and the first time was a bad experience and about a year or so ago. I asked for a gel paint with two colors. A certain black and violet. The lady doing my nails only did black and my gel was messy and my sisters was messy and they didn't do the right color she asked for and showed. I have a bad habit of chewing my nails and I am pretty insecure about it. The lady was showing my nails constantly to the other lady doing my sisters nails. It felt quite obvious with the way her gestures were towards my nails that I could tell what it was about. Not sure if it's always a different experience for younger people since my sister was 9 when she got them done at sassy nails and I was 12. Onto the experience I had recently, I was nervous to come in again due to me growing out my nails and biting them off the day before. The experience was fine at first until the same thing happened with the guy I had. I asked for a certain black and blue this time and only got blue. I'm not sure if two colors aren't an option but I went with my mom and she got two colors perfectly fine. He was pointing at my nails and the gel is messy. My mother's nails are beautiful and she adores them. I don't recommend this place unless you get the right person because It seems I was unlucky. read more

The reason I am leaving a bad is because of this guy. I don't know his name but he was rude. I sat down and in less then two minutes he was "done" with my cuticles. I told him there was still cuticles that he left and he replied with I can't do that. I told him that this didn't look right and he just took his tools and left. He then went to work on someone using the SAME TOOLS he used on me. Jenny then came and fixed my issue with no problem. I then had to wait for someone else to come paint my nails. I get a simple gel manicure and pedicure. This was horrible service on the guy and the management that did not say anything or even bother to apologize. I wasn't sure if I would be able to find a nail place around that could do the nail designs I wanted right, but I'm super pleased that I came across Sassy Nails. I made an appointment for my sister and asked for Jenny since I saw the beautiful sets she's done on Yelp. We gave her a reference photo of 5 different designs (different colors & designs for each nail) and she's killed it. She was super efficient. It was definitely getting busy and at one point she was answering the store phone while painting my sister's nails because she was just that good lol. Less than 3 days after my manicure, my right index finger nail snapped off just by grabbing my steering wheel. I have NEVER broken a set in my life. The acrylic was glued to the very tippy top of my nail, and had nothing to hold onto. You can see how unnecessarily thick the dip is on the photo from the broken nail. I am DONE coming here and recommend that others look elsewhere if you're thinking about going to this nail salon. I gave this place three chances and wish I never came at all The first time I came in I saw Jenny(She's either the owner or boss). My nails turned out great. It wasn't busy and I was very happy with my experience and the result. I even tipped her 30% The second time I came I saw Jenny again. It was busy and the entire time she was rushing while doing my nails. I couldn't even relax because of the amount of anxiety I felt from her. The end result wasn't terrible. The third time I called and scheduled a few days ahead. I asked Jenny what day and time would be best and not busy. I walk in for that appointment and it was PACKED. Every chair was filled and I look over to see Jenny putting a fresh set of acrylics on another person (even though I scheduled with her). I had acrylics on that needed to come off and she sat me at another spot and told me to put my hands in acetone. I sat there for almost an HOUR with my hands in the bowl and my nails were completely off by then. After an hour and 15 minutes past my appointment Jenny was done with the other persons nails. She finally started doing mine and once again was rushing the entire time. Nails looked terrible and after only ten days multiple were starting to split through the middle. I lightly bumped my nail into something and it completely ripped my natural nail off. Probably due to my acrylics being poorly done along with my nails being so brittle from the acetone. I struggled for over 3 hours trying to get the rest of my nail off and was in excruciating pain. This business is poorly run and Jenny is extremely negligent. I'm disgusted with my experience here. She didn't even apologize and still charged me $70. Pathetic. read more

I wish I could give a better review because the owner and staff were all really friendly. It seemed to be a popular place and they were able to get me in right away for an acrylic full set and pedicure. So maybe they did such a bad job on the acrylic because they were in a hurry. They looks really thick, irregular and crooked. I'm disappointed because this is the 1st time I've had my nails done in a year. I dislike them so much that I'm going to find another place and get them redone. My pedicure does look good. But I asked for a design and the lady didn't know this had to be done before putting on the top coat so they couldn't do it. Another disappointment. The day after I got a manicure the gel started to chip away on two of my fingers. I returned to the salon the next day and the nail technician attempted to fix them. Two days later since the fix, the gel is continuing to peel away off of my fingers, even other nails that were seemingly fine the day before. It was a real shame, because I have been twice before and loved my nails then.
