When I arrived 30 minutes after an urgent care visit, my medications were already ready for pickup I received a text message about it, and I came in right away and picked up medications without any issues. Walgreens in Colorado Springs is possibly one of the worst pharmacies I have ever had to deal with in my life. They will question why you are on certain medications and withhold your medications if they don't want you to have them. Thinking they are the doctors in charge. Total disregard to what their actual job is. If you have a legit prescription from your doctor that you have been taking for several months and years then there shouldn't be any questions. That's not their job so it's not surprising to me that they are going bankrupt and all locations will be shut down eventually. Won't miss their bizarre. Incompetent, rude staff. read more

1- was calling yesterday to talk to a pharmacist and was put on hold. Ok...they're busy??? Kept on the line for 2 hrs so finally decided to drive over only to find out the pharmacist had left because of an emergency! Could no one answer the phone lines and tell me that?? 2- went there to get a prescription and was told it was $88! Left without it and had dr call it over to Costco. Picked it up an hr later for $6.69. Worst Walgreens ever!!! read more

The pharmacist (Kelly) coped an attitude and made me wait 4 hrs for my prescription,, The spineless manager backed her up,, and I now I have transferred everything across the street to the brand new CVS. Wendy in the pharmacy is literally the rudest person I have ever encountered. I sorry you hate your job, that's not my fault. Was contemplating transferring pharmacies, not doubt I will now. She literally said only the following things to me. "Date of birth" "what's your address". No "hi." No "do you have any questions." No "that'll be $15." No "thank you." Nothing. I give a negative 100,000. The pharmacist does not care about patients or mental health. Charged me over $180 even though I had a coupon for $108. They are there for a paycheck. They are rude. When I explainEd that I received an automated message I was told "I tell patients not to trust the automated system". Why have something that is wrong contacting pharmacy patients. The only reason I'm writing this review is Minnie in pharmacy . She has been my go to girl for years . She always goes above and beyond for me . One time I needed insulin and she called around to find it for me . She knows my name and takes great care of me . I don't feel like she gets enough recognition because she's friendly and most of the other employees avoid even greeting you if you pass them on the floor ( that wasn't ok when I worked there btw) . One day she'll be long gone happy in another job and I'll miss her because she's truly a valuable employee. Point is Minnie is awesome . read more

This Walgreens is the closest to my home, so I often run in when I need to grab something quickly. They always have special little deals, and if you are a Walgreens wellness card you can earn points with your purchases and get $5 off once you reach a certain amount. The staff are usually very helpful and always ask if you need help finding anything, and if they see that there's a long line, they will open up the cosmetics section to check you out. read more

I usually only get prescriptions or greeting cards at Walgreens. This one's like all the others with decent employees (though not as super awesome as the one on Colorado Ave). This Rangewood locations's pharmacy, however, is a hit or miss. Sometimes there'll be several workers behind the counter and the customer lines move fast. Other times there will seem like just two harried employees trying to help out 10 customers, and it'll be a really long wait whether in the drive-thru pharmacy or at the counter. Pretty standard stuff; they've always had what I was looking for. This location's parking lot is way less stressful to navigate and easy to get in and out compared to the Walgreens on Barnes & Powers. They also have 2 Redbox DVD rentals outside. read more

Wish I could give 0 stars. I would rather drive 15 extra minutes to another Walgreens then ever return there. The service was a bit slow, which is typical of Walgreens. However, the pharmacist I spoke with spent a fair amount of time trying to help me find the right product, which I really appreciated. This Walgreens Pharmacy is beyond ridiculous. I would not trust them with my life. The incompetence and lack of initiative is embarrassing for them, whether they know it or not. I'm embarrassed for this Walgreens pharmacy. It is on many occasions I have sat and waited for an Rx to be filled, waiting and waiting just to get up and go to the counter and to be told, "oh it's out of stock." Why didn't you tell me this, you saw me sitting and waiting, it was very slow. I've had another similar thing happen with another Rx for my daughter. I waited 2 weeks for an Rx to be filled, never heard anything. I came into the store to see what the prob was and they say, "your insurance won't cover it" then the Pharm Tech lied to my face about when they called the Dr. for a different Rx that the insurance would cover. I just left the Dr.s Office, they had not heard a word from Walgreens-that's why I was there. And that's just 2 supporting incidents for this poor rating. This pharmacy is terrible, if I could give negative stars I would...save yourself the time and hassle of using this location. What a waste of air. I will contact Walgreens Corporate and file a complaint there as well. read more

I always love this place. The pharmacist are super nice and work very efficiently. I've asked them for recommendations on everything from abrasions, rashes, allergic reactions etc. They always take time to walk me thru the aisles and hero me find the best product to take care of my situation. read more

Just a quick note- as of 4/29/2013 this rangewood drive location doesn't have any redbox, it's the other Walgreen off rangewood and Austin bluffs. REVIEW- I live close by so I'm here all the time for photo, prescriptions, and anything else. Great employees and fast service. I'm glad to have it nearby, just get a red box and icee machine lol read more
