Second time, saw a different provider for botox on a different area. She was super nice and helpful. It was the last day of their holiday sales and I had been wanting to get the Morpheus package, and it was at 50% off. So, I discussed that with the provider that would be doing the Morpheus treatments, and it seemed like a great idea. I then scheduled the three sessions with the front desk lady, and it was very difficult because my schedule is extremely all over the place and the providers schedule is pretty tight. When I was scheduling it, the front desk lady did not mention that anybody else would be able to provide the service, and did not provide options outside of this one provider. This was a Sunday, the next day I checked my schedule for work, and realized that I will be gone about 90% of the year, and I tried to make it work with scheduling through the scheduling options on the website. Nothing was working for me and times just did not align. So, realizing that because of my government job and the fact that I will be gone most of the year and potentially thereafter, I requested a refund since no services had been rendered. I was told I would get a call back, I did the next day. I was told that I could not receive a refund and that the package never expires and I can use it whenever. But, I know that it was almost $2000 just thrown away because I might not be able to actually use it due to my demanding job. So, the lady that I talked to said that she would call back or somebody else would after they spoke with the owner, and she did one or two days later. She called me again and said the same exact thing that she had said previously, when I asked if she could provide me with the policy that strictly states that I could not receive a refund for packages purchased, she stated that she cannot do that and does not have that. She said she would ask the owner to send an email. I got pretty frustrated because I've been called multiple times on something that should be a simple matter. She continued to interrupt me on the phone, and I got pretty angry. She then said that we clearly are not going to reach an agreement on this, and she will have somebody else call me back. I then told her that I would either like my refund for the service that has not been rendered or I would like clear and distinct policy that was made or shown prior to me purchasing the package stating I cannot receive a refund. I then hung up. Her name is Jackie. Honestly, this was terrible customer service, a service was not rendered and I said I cannot receive any treatments or schedule due to military obligations, but was met with arguments from the staff stating that I will be able to use it and fit it in my schedule, even if it is two years from now and that's basically it. Definitely will not be going back, and they wanted me to come back and use that almost $2000 on other services as if I would feel comfortable enough receiving anything from them after that.

Marvin didn't care about any of it; this review or my experience. My intention is to give honest feedback about a bad experience because this is clearly a possibility in this office. Dr. Marvin has a great sales pitch but when you have issues it is very frustrating dealing with him. All he said was that I am not wrong for feeling the way I do but he definitely couldn't have done any better and he sees no reason to rectify anything. He wouldn't give me a reason why. He blew me off. I booked an appointment for Botox and I was so excited to begin treatment and to build a treatment plan after reading so many positive reviews. I am a mama to a 3 year old and I was excited to find this office. What woman wouldn't be excited! The communication is awful. Dr. Marvin didn't take adequate time and energy to hear what I was saying and he focused to much on selling me. I was already there and willing to do what it took to reach my goals.I purchased the largest injection package that they offer; $600 because your face is $200 X 3 by their formula. My results never peaked and lasted about a month. His bedside manner ruins the whole experience because he doesn't listen to anything. When I complained and followed up twice, I was told everything from, I could have a contraindication, an intolerance, the batch could have been off, ect...I got a second opinion and looked into all the reasons he said it might not work and none of it was valid. Dr. Kenya was very pleasant and I appreciate that. Due to my work schedule, my husband ran in twice so I could figure out what to do. His presence didn't seem like an issue to Dr. Kenya, other than privacy concerns but then I got a very ugly voice message from Dr. Marvin telling me my husband isn't welcome there and allegedly he made people uncomfortable. The whole thing is unbelievably rude and a lie. That rude message bothered me the most. I've never had someone, let alone a Dr. be that unprofessional. Who acts like that? My husband stood in the waiting room and ended up talking to Dr. Kenya who seemed friendly and she mentioned that they would find a resolution. A lie I guess. He ran in a week later when we weren't contacted to see if there was a good time to schedule an appointment. He left a number and left. I confronted Dr. Marvin about his voicemail, I explained the situation and he said he understood but continued to rudely talk about my husband. That crossed a line. My husband is prior Law Enforcement, he works for the Government and he is a very respectful and composed man. He didn't do anything wrong. No one said ANYTHING about his presence being unwanted until Marvin got in his ego. The crazy thing is left that he left me that nasty vm and then called my husband to talk about the situation but didn't relay any of his ugly message to him directly. I guess he's only comfortable being rude to women. It's unreal. He crossed so many lines but if he doesn't validate it, it doesn't exist. How unprofessional. We spoke on the phone for an hour, he was egotistical, he had no strategy to help fix the situation, he was dismissive but he is sorry I "feel the way I do.' It would be nice to receive a genuine apology for his conduct. He had no answers and he simply told me it's not his fault, i have paid in full so we are essentially done. I am not welcome back and I am an ex client so there's essentially no point in my satisfaction with their office. This is by far the worst and most unprofessional experience I've ever had in any way. Melissa had previously done filler in my upper cheeks, which went well. Seeking subtle improvements before my big day, I mentioned some concern about the area under my chin. Melissa recommended a Silhouette thread lift to tighten the skin and reduce the appearance of a double chin. She assured me it was quick and easy -- something she routinely performed on herself and Dr. Bourrous. I was hesitant given the timing, but she confidently told me the swelling would resolve in just three days and it would be perfectly safe so close to the wedding. The day of the procedure, I checked in, had some photos taken, took a Xanax I had provided myself, and the treatment began. Only afterward, at checkout, was I presented with a consent form explaining essential aftercare instructions and restrictions I had never been told about in advance -- including a soft food diet, no dental work for 10 weeks, and the need to sleep upright. I had a dentist appointment scheduled just two weeks later, not to mention my wedding and extended honeymoon. Had I known these risks and limitations beforehand, I never would have proceeded. In the days following, I experienced intense pain and distress. The swelling never went down, and the dimpling and puckering in my skin worsened. Rather than slimming my face, the procedure left me looking wider and, honestly, unrecognizable to myself. Despite following all aftercare instructions exactly, I was devastated by the result. Melissa told me to follow up the following Monday, but by then, the emotional and physical damage was already done. The follow-up care for the complications was sloppy, inconsistent, and lacked any real resolution. There was no meaningful follow-through or accountability for what had happened. To make matters worse, the medical record lists Dr. John Bourrous as the provider who performed the procedure -- yet it was Melissa, an LPN, who carried it out. This discrepancy is deeply concerning and raises questions about transparency and proper documentation. It ultimately took a full year of working with an ENT specialist to correct the damage and restore normal tissue function. The impact on my appearance, confidence, and emotional well-being was profound. Warning to others: Do not allow anyone to rush you into a procedure -- especially so close to an important event. Always insist on receiving all risks and aftercare requirements in writing before consenting. I learned the hard way that trust and polish do not guarantee safety, skill, or ethical care.
