I sat with him three separate times for my detailed, gorgeous thigh piece. He did a phenomenal job. On top of being ridiculously good, he's also super chill to sit with for hours at a time. I sat three times on my thigh (2hrs each time) and also had him do a rib tattoo for me. Every time he was professional, cool, and easy going. He's great at his job and incorporated everything I wanted into my thigh tattoo. Pro tip: they offer numbing cream. You can buy it by the tube or (if you're super cool) they will just apply some to your body before the tattoo for free. Cream has to go on and sit for about half an hour before the tattoo gets started so let them know ahead of time that you want it and you're going to show up early for it. After you get done getting poked, head to the joint right down the street and grab a super delicious taco! (Nom!) There are some things I wish they'd change. I loved that they had such an open space in their studio; fluid space, no big walls for the most part. I love the feeling of community, however, it also leaves you pretty exposed to anyone who walks past their large sun drenched windows and anyone who happens to walk in the front door. If you're in the middle of getting inked and your shorts are pulled really high or your shirt is pulled up, everyone will see it. Not so fun. Either way, they get a raving five stars from me. BUCKLE UP!!!! NEVER EVER EVER go to her for Botox! I've been getting Botox for a better part of 15…read moreyears. I've had services done in Colorado, Virginia, North Carolina and California! So, I am Very well versed in how Botox works! Hell I could mark myself I've had it done so much. Jess comes off extremely sweet but when I told her that I've been doing this for as long as I had she began to speak to me condescending. Time for the injection. I told her what I've done the past 5 years which was 20 in my Glabellar (between your eyes) bc that's where my migraine originates. I had a stroke when I was 16 so this is why I do Botox. And then 20 spread out over my frontals. So we get done nothing seemed off she marked me and I felt the normal pinching when getting Botox. She said she did 55 units!!!!she added a few for my crows feet. I go home and my Klingons bumps as I call them look MASSIVE! The next 72 hours were unbelievably AWFUL! The pictures speak for themselves. In my 15 years getting injections I have NEVER had a reaction like this ever. I messaged Jess probably 10 times because I was in so much pain and Jess was extremely unhelpful. She suggesting icing and warm compress ok a 5 year old can suggest that. So because her lack of training, I emailed my plastic surgeon that I went to in California for my Botox . He said and I quote " you are having a sever localized reaction to whatever she used. I've only seen this not in my office but by shady people mixing expired Botox." You need to start taking Benadryl and applying hydrocortisone cream. If it does not go down in the next 48 hours you need to see your doctor for a steroid". I asked Jess for a PARTIAL refund which she refused even though it didn't do a single thing and caused this massive reaction ... about a week and a half goes by and I sent her pictures and she was like oh girl it looks so much better and I retort in what universe does this look better! A week and a half passes and the swelling finally goes down. Jess messages me and tells me to come in for a follow up so reluctantly I go in. Of course she is super sweet. And I begin telling her and showing her the full extent of all my pictures. She like you need to have a balanced life and minimize your stress. Umm excuse me that has NOTHING to do with why my Botox didn't work stop talking to me like I'm an idiot! I have more education than you do! Anyways I digress. She says well we can do like 10 units complimentary. I again reluctantly agree. This time does 10 units in my Glabellar again. Small marks not like before. 7+ days go by absolutely does NOTHING. Mind you she said my first visit she did 55 units. If you did 55 units my face would have ZERO movement not full movement. So let this be a warning her $8.99 Botox special DO NOT under any circumstances do it!!
