The pharmacy department has protective glass up, and all the staff are wearing mask now. I also was able to to present my CharityRX savings card, and it was accepted with no problem. I have a service-connected disability, documented through the VA, with active prescriptions from licensed medical professionals. When I brought my prescription to this location, I was told they wouldn't fill it because I'm a veteran using the VA system. No explanation, no effort to verify, no respect. Just a flat-out refusal. Meanwhile, they have no issue filling the same exact medications for others using Medicaid or questionable third-party providers. Let me be clear: I'm not looking for special treatment. I'm asking to be treated with the same basic decency and access as anyone else who walks through their door. Veterans should not be punished or stigmatized for where their prescriptions come from especially when they've given this country their health, time, and in many cases, their ability to work. Walgreens talks about "supporting veterans" in their ads, but in reality, they're blocking legitimate medical care from those who've earned it, while handing out opioids like candy to anyone with a plastic card. Shame on you. Do better. Until then, I'll take my prescriptions and my money to a pharmacy that understands honor, integrity, and patient care.

They are "always" packed and busy... The pharmacy tech greeted me and with the biggest smile. Someone's in a very great mood. I love these type of workers. Pleasant and just in great spirits. She took my prescription and put all my stuff in the computer. The prices wasn't too bad also. $10 for my Percocet's just know I will only take them if I can't deal with them pain. . Y'all know I'm very pain tolerant and I hate taking any type or narcotics. So she said it should take about 10-15 mins. Ok I'm cool with that. Now all we need is some cushion on these chairs.
