Some of the nicest and most accommodating women I've ever met it is now April 3 and last time I had my pedicure was February 14 yes it just started to chip! Ask for Lynn and Judy they are so meticulous and they don't hurt my fingernails like the other salons did I don't go to my spa in Beverly Hills anymore because here at glamour nails is way better you will not be disappointed the best place for long lasting nails with great service ! read more

Glamour Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Van Nuys, California

This place was fine for a $15 pedicure. Would come here occasionally out of convenience, but usually left with some small annoyance (Paint job, crooked nails). But now they've raised the price for pedicures to $20 and honestly, it's not worth it. I'll drive a few blocks away for a much better $15 pedicure from now on. I will say they're nice and don't try to constantly up sell you, which is a plus. read more

Got my two nails fixed for $4 !! Great deal first off and I got a color change for $10 which is about average but she filed my nails making them pointer and now they look better than when I first got them Lin was my nail lady, very good work read more

I don't even give reviews but this salon was just bad vibes as soon as I walked in. First it extremely hot inside but I was like okay maybe their AC isn't working rn I understand , cool. Next some lady starts applying curve acrylics nails on me without even asking me ?? She had the nerve to say " you should've told me" like no bitch you should've asked me anyways then the f*cken lady doing my nails starts looking at me crazy Bc I didn't wanna cut off any length, then I told her the color I wanted and she looked at me crazy again, she even began laughing at me. Then the other lady comes up to us and starts pointing at nails and saying Idk wtf in their language. Then later on when we were done the lady doing my nails said " long acrylics make her shoulder hurt" and I was like wtf ??? Why would she even tell me that ? I gave no tip I don't care then they hit me with no card only cash or Venmo ??? They don't wanna fucken pay any taxes ?? Or what ? Bad vibes. It was empty on a Friday afternoon on the weekend before Halloween so you know that means red flag. ALSO a customer comes in with no mask ?? And still gets helped out... never even asked the lady nicely to put one on. This place needs to be shut down !! Ridiculous omg . Looking at the other reviews the lady doing my nails her name was MIMI read more

I really like this place. I like their flexible schedule and customer service. Mimi did my nails and I love them!

They do horrible nails !! The paint job is horrible !! And shaping! The lady was very rude to me when I was talking to her about the price.. she told me "if you don't like go somewhere else"... very rude! I do not not suggest this place. There is a place closer called Diamond nails! Way better place ! They have good prices and our very kind. read more

Love my nail place always friendly and happy with my nails ! Awesome customer service

BAD service the worst attitude I've ever seen Unprofessional crew !!! First and last time for sure read more

They were amazingly nice and professional, I showed up on a whim right before they closed and they still fit me in! They're the only salon to do my gel nails how I like them. They didn't chip at all until I was ready to soak them off, I'm definitely going back! read more

I actually like this place, can't say anything bad so far. Pedicures are nice. Paint jobs are nice. Not a lot to chat about they just get the job done. If I don't like something they change it. read more

The ladies here are very welcoming and kind. I got my acrylics done by Lin and she did a good job. She took her time with my nails and made sure I was satisfied with the shape I asked for. I'm content with my experience here and will definitely come back when needed. read more

Clean job, nice ladies, quick service. Not sure why this place got such low ratings. It's pretty comparable to Fantasy Nails which has 4.5 stars, not sure why that place is rated so highly. Both places are a no frills type nail salon. They get the job done! read more

Glamour Nails - French tip. Not bad! - Nail Salons Near Me - Van Nuys, California

As a man that likes to get a mani pedi every three weeks or so, I cannot recommend a better place. Comfy chairs, nice people running it. I have been going there for 4 years, and unlike the other revue I know that they are VERY thorough about hygiene. I don't pretend to know about gel nails, but guys, you want to get a mani pedi this is the place! Stephen read more

I've been to this nail salon once and its probably the last time I am going. I don't think that the technicians who work there are very skilled. I asked for gel nails and a pedicure. My pedicure turned out okay, but my gel nails started chipping the very next day. The lady who did my manicure also cut me 2 or 3 times :( The variety of nail polishes here aren't very good. Not a lot of name brand products such as OPI or Essie. I don't think that they sterilize their tools either. Overall though, the ladies who work inside the salon are nice.... but if i am going to spend the time and money to treat myself I definitely would not go here! read more

Great service went to get my nails done...and place was nice very friendly..a bit pricey but everything else seems good

This is my moms go to nail place when she is in town. It is not my favorite but they aren't bad. I think maybe the one who does my moms nails has to be good because my mom can be snobbish. The lady who did my 5yr olds mani-pedi was extremely nice and gentle and she tried to make it a nice experience for her which I appreciate and would go back just for that. I wouldn't try to convince people to switch to this place but if they just wanted to go get their nails done last minute, this is one of a few I would let them know about. read more

The ladies are nice for the most part but they do not have a lot of variety of nail polish. Like the other reviewer said they are not very skilled. The owner did a French tip on me and I said I didn't like it and she removed the polish and ended up charging me for removal. I have never experienced that in my life. She then asked me to go walk barefoot after my pedicure to pick out a new color. They do not have samples of the gel nail polish so you have to walk to their wall selection. The owner was so unprofessional. I told her I'm not walking barefoot so she brought over random colors that totally didn't match what I wanted. Please don't waste your hard earned money here. They don't even sterilize their tools here. I was so disgusted. Never coming here again. read more

This place is beyond RACIST!! I stopped at the market next door to get a drink after I came in from Tae Kwan Do class with my uniform on, in which I am a GREEN BELT, sponsored by ADIDAS, and I had to use the restroom. I went into this establishment, thinking, "I'll ask about their services"... I said hello and asked to use the restroom, 2 older women, immediately said in unison, "No it's not working!" I was APPALED!!! Not only were they RUDE and UNKIND, they made me IMMEDIATELY feel like a victim of RACISM!!! I hadn't noticed them before in MY neighborhood and I'm sure not too many others will notice them either with THAT BEHAVIOR! They were CLASSLESS, UNETHICAL and they demonstrated VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE on all levels! read more

I have been coming here for several years. I think the ladies do a nice job on mani and pedi. They are reasonably price and i can always walk in without an appointment, maybe 10-15 min wait. Other salons in the area charge more and tell you 30 min wait or to make an appt. My husband and sister in law are now customers and enjoy coming here as well. read more

I have an appt. July 22 (my wedding day) to have my nails and hair done here!!! They stylist that was helping me has a very unique and different name and I can't remember her name but she's the sweetest little thing and I can't wait to get my hair and make up done!! read more

I came here again and I was treated so nicely! The ladies here are wonderful, just had a great experience. I did full set acrylics and got my eyebrows done. I came out very pleased with both results. read more

I've been here a handful of times. Until today the experience had been totally fine. But today the woman who did my manicure was clearly rushed (there was no one waiting) & just couldn't be bothered to take care of me. The woman who did the pedicure on the other hand could not have been sweeter, however the woman who was in a hurry to be done with me hurt me while massaging my wrist. (Not to mention she didn't shape my nails like I asked & I had to fix them...) I understand sometimes we have bad days but because I'm having to take Advil due to a rough and uncaring massage I'll be skipping this place in the future. It did not feel safe :( read more

3 stars for average. Ladies are nice enough and will do what you ask without attitude, but if you miss something you are going to get a low quality result. Wasnt paying attention to my toes and one foot is square and one is round. I felt like i asked my hand lady to change something every 3 mins. Frustrating because i shouldn't have to do that to only still be unsatisfied with my nails... read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON! First off, the salon is filthy. Second, the manicurists are rude and when I asked any question they replied barely one word. I usually go to Holly Bella in Tarzana to get my nails done but they were busy and I had last minute plans. So I went to 2 other nail salons before Glamour Nails. When I walked in I didn't want to settle but this was the only place that wasn't busy, no customers at all. Anyway, I paid 30 for spa mani and pedi w/ french tip design. I was NOT happy. My nails looked like how I would apply polish when I was 10 years old. I should have said something but I'm too nice. AND MY POLISH PEELED OFF JUST BY ME GRABBING MY KEYS!..same night! ugh AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!! read more

Came in for a pedi and underarm wax at 9am since my regular place doesn't open til 1030. The leader of the pack doesn't know how to smile which is unfortunate. She tells one lady to do my pedi first. Polish was a lil messy and my nails had no defined shape. She then tells me to wait for the polish to dry while she goes and starts a pedi on someone else. I was there first, why didn't she just do the wax first and then the pedi? I now have to sit and wait while she starts a pedi on another client. Eventually a second lady comes over to do my waxing because the first lady was busy with another client. This lady was probably in her 70s which concerned me but I didn't want to be rude so I said nothing. She was very sweet and talked about God the entire time. She waxed each arm in small little sections which made it very painful especially the overlapping parts. As I was laying there I noticed the price list on the wall which said underarm wax was $12. When it was time to pay she told me it was $15, I laughed and said the sign says $12 then she replied "I don't know the price because I haven't been here in a while". I'm thinking to myself if you don't know the price why don't you ask your boss what the price is instead of guessing a price. If she wasn't so old I would have given her a piece of my mind. I suspect that she probably was assuming I hadn't noticed the sign and was trying to get an extra $3 out of me. While $3 is not a big deal to me I cared on this particular day because now my $5 tip has to be split between two people which means I have to add an extra couple of dollars to the tip. In my opinion the service I received deserved no tip but I just can't bring myself to tip zero. When I got home I looked under my arms because they felt so sore and noticed lots of hair that she missed. I will not come back to this place but I guess they did the job to the best of their ability. read more
