This place was fine for a $15 pedicure. Would come here occasionally out of convenience, but usually left with some small annoyance (Paint job, crooked nails). But now they've raised the price for pedicures to $20 and honestly, it's not worth it. I'll drive a few blocks away for a much better $15 pedicure from now on. I don't even give reviews but this salon was just bad vibes as soon as I walked in. First it extremely hot inside but I was like okay maybe their AC isn't working rn I understand , cool. Next some lady starts applying curve acrylics nails on me without even asking me ?? She had the nerve to say " you should've told me" like no bitch you should've asked me anyways then the f*cken lady doing my nails starts looking at me crazy Bc I didn't wanna cut off any length, then I told her the color I wanted and she looked at me crazy again, she even began laughing at me. I've been to this nail salon once and its probably the last time I am going. I don't think that the technicians who work there are very skilled. I asked for gel nails and a pedicure. My pedicure turned out okay, but my gel nails started chipping the very next day. The lady who did my manicure also cut me 2 or 3 times :( The variety of nail polishes here aren't very good. Not a lot of name brand products such as OPI or Essie. I don't think that they sterilize their tools either. Overall though, the ladies who work inside the salon are nice.... but if i am going to spend the time and money to treat myself I definitely would not go here! read more

This is my moms go to nail place when she is in town. It is not my favorite but they aren't bad. I think maybe the one who does my moms nails has to be good because my mom can be snobbish. The lady who did my 5yr olds mani-pedi was extremely nice and gentle and she tried to make it a nice experience for her which I appreciate and would go back just for that. The ladies are nice for the most part but they do not have a lot of variety of nail polish. Like the other reviewer said they are not very skilled. The owner did a French tip on me and I said I didn't like it and she removed the polish and ended up charging me for removal. I have never experienced that in my life. She then asked me to go walk barefoot after my pedicure to pick out a new color. They do not have samples of the gel nail polish so you have to walk to their wall selection. The owner was so unprofessional. I told her I'm not walking barefoot so she brought over random colors that totally didn't match what I wanted. Please don't waste your hard earned money here. I stopped at the market next door to get a drink after I came in from Tae Kwan Do class with my uniform on, in which I am a GREEN BELT, sponsored by ADIDAS, and I had to use the restroom. I went into this establishment, thinking, "I'll ask about their services"... I said hello and asked to use the restroom, 2 older women, immediately said in unison, "No it's not working!" I was APPALED!!! Not only were they RUDE and UNKIND, they made me IMMEDIATELY feel like a victim of RACISM!!! I have been coming here for several years. I think the ladies do a nice job on mani and pedi. They are reasonably price and i can always walk in without an appointment, maybe 10-15 min wait. Other salons in the area charge more and tell you 30 min wait or to make an appt. My husband and sister in law are now customers and enjoy coming here as well. read more

I've been here a handful of times. Until today the experience had been totally fine. But today the woman who did my manicure was clearly rushed (there was no one waiting) & just couldn't be bothered to take care of me. The woman who did the pedicure on the other hand could not have been sweeter, however the woman who was in a hurry to be done with me hurt me while massaging my wrist. (Not to mention she didn't shape my nails like I asked & I had to fix them...) DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON! First off, the salon is filthy. Second, the manicurists are rude and when I asked any question they replied barely one word. I usually go to Holly Bella in Tarzana to get my nails done but they were busy and I had last minute plans. So I went to 2 other nail salons before Glamour Nails. Came in for a pedi and underarm wax at 9am since my regular place doesn't open til 1030. The leader of the pack doesn't know how to smile which is unfortunate. She tells one lady to do my pedi first. Polish was a lil messy and my nails had no defined shape. She then tells me to wait for the polish to dry while she goes and starts a pedi on someone else. I was there first, why didn't she just do the wax first and then the pedi? I now have to sit and wait while she starts a pedi on another client. Eventually a second lady comes over to do my waxing because the first lady was busy with another client. This lady was probably in her 70s which concerned me but I didn't want to be rude so I said nothing. She was very sweet and talked about God the entire time. She waxed each arm in small little sections which made it very painful especially the overlapping parts. As I was laying there I noticed the price list on the wall which said underarm wax was $12. When it was time to pay she told me it was $15, I laughed and said the sign says $12 then she replied "I don't know the price because I haven't been here in a while". I'm thinking to myself if you don't know the price why don't you ask your boss what the price is instead of guessing a price. If she wasn't so old I would have given her a piece of my mind. I suspect that she probably was assuming I hadn't noticed the sign and was trying to get an extra $3 out of me. While $3 is not a big deal to me I cared on this particular day because now my $5 tip has to be split between two people which means I have to add an extra couple of dollars to the tip. In my opinion the service I received deserved no tip but I just can't bring myself to tip zero. When I got home I looked under my arms because they felt so sore and noticed lots of hair that she missed.
