needed a place to get my tows done for an event i have coming up & this place was recommended to me HOWEVER, i wouldn't personally recommend this place to anyone else . got the $40 package & we were charged $55 for a terrible & rushed pedicure service. most of my toe nails aren't even fully covered with polished & there's even polish on my skin. clear polish overflowed & dried on my cuticles. the technicians were great people, but everything definitely felt rushed & it looks like a child painted my toes. read more

I was a little skeptical going in because of the mixed reviews. Overall, I was satisfied with my nails. The appearance of the nails is great, but the quality isn't. Underneath my nails, I can feel and see the dried-up acrylic suck on the inside side of my nails. Filing could've been better also. It cost me $35 for just the full set. A $10 upgrade to a gel-polish. I'm sure she also charged me $1 for the cuticle nourishment ointment she did on me without my request, but I didn't mind. Total cost was $41. You can leave tips on the card as well! So, I rate this place 4 stars for the appearance and quality of the nails, because it did the job. Worst set of nails in my life. Walk in for a gel polish change and they must've given me a new kid. Natural (long) nails that I wanted shapped stiletto, UGLIEST shape I've ever seen in my life so I had to make him trim the down completely. Wouldn't you want to be more careful with real nails??! The polish was running and one nail ended up bubbling but I was in a rush so I didn't have time to make him fix it. If I could rate negative stars I would. DO NOT GO HERE read more

Update: I chipped one of my nails after a week of having my gel manicure and they were able to quickly fix it, redid the top coat on all my nails, and freshened another nail up that didn't look quite as good as the others. They did it for $5! I came in because they were next door to the UPS store when I was running errands. They were quick, friendly and my nails look good! No complaints. read more

It was supposed to be a simple pedicure. Instead, I got my toe nails unnecessarily picked at, pulled and cut to the point where I bled on my right middle toe and left big toe. I told her to leave it alone but she didn't get it and continued to compulsively pick at it. At that point I wanted to leave. Isn't this supposed to be relaxing and not painful? I had a manicure and pedicure on Friday 08-12, this is not the first time I have been there, but it will be my last. The woman, scraped skin off my foot in three different places, causing them to bleed. Now that was bad enough, but she never told me, she had done it. I could not believe it. I came here and got a pedicure and a fill it was getting close to closing time so instead of saying after your feet I will have to do hands tomorrow the owner hurried to do my nails which she drilled off my real nails from underneath the fake nails and when I grow my nails out I get the fake nails off and began growing my own so I was disappointed that she did that but she didn't care she said next time get them all off and get new nails ones....I'm so tired of nail shops taking my money and yes it is not cheap after all the extra charges but then most hurry or talk rudely or do what they want to your nails and this is one of those places so I will Not be returning Treat Your Customers like you want to be treated Not Happy At All read more

I really enjoyed the ladies doing my nails. They were so pleasant to talk to and very kind. Although, I was kind of bummed out, she kind of hurt my thumb, I couldn't tell if it was bleeding at the time, but looking at it now, its pretty red. Also, there was nail polish all over my hands by the time I was done with the appointment... I love the magnetic polish, I think it is gorgeous! I also need to note, the place was "clean" but the instruments were not clean.. BUT again, since I really enjoyed the ladies, its hard to leave a disappointing review. read more

The first time I came I was welcomed, maybe cause I was the only one here. Second time I was here I got a fill and again, felt welcomed, again only one here. Third time here, I was told to wait for "Linda", that she'll be right back. I waited for 5 minutes and asked how much longer, they told me 10 minutes so I left. One other was there-there's three employees, it seems. I called to make sure that she would be there & made an appointment. Got a fill & she didn't listen to how I wanted them shaped-she shaped them the last time. Her coworker was hovering over her shoulder & they were talking so much I was getting poked, burned, & Linda was getting worse with my nails so I asked her coworker to leave. I was so dissatisfied with my nails & service, after I washed my hands, I paid then left without my nails painted. Today I returned to get them painted, figuring she just had a bad day. Linda wasn't here, so 'We' (??) did the gel paint he didn't say much to me, he was talking to his coworker, 'Nina'. He did end up fixing the shape I was unsatisfied with. 'Nina' did my pedicure. They were so busy talking, they weren't listening to me, so I got 2 different prices. I sat in silence till partway through my pedicure & the tv got turned on. After telling them BOTH, GEL POLISH she puts regular on anyway, making me late to take my mom to the Dr for a follow-up after a surgery for ovarian cancer. I'm beyond pissed. Nope. Walked in and asked how long for a gel manicure! I was told 20 minutes! For some reason it took 40-45 minutes! The manicurist did not even ask me if I wanted them trimmed back (which I did)! Now, I'm having breakage issues! I do not recommend them at all!!! read more

Awful. I ruined the crystals on my pointer fingers from demolishing on our bathroom and since my nail lady I go to was out of town, I had no choice but to get a fix at this place. I used to get my nails done here all the time 4-5 years ago. It was much more inviting and clean back then. Anyways, I walk in, ask for a fix. It's an older lady, maybe in her 50's, and can barely understand anything I'm saying. All I needed was a sanding down and polish put on my 2 fingers. Sits me down, grabs a purple color that matches my existing color pretty close. Sands them down, does a fine job. Then dusts my nails off and starts to apply polish. She did such an awful job cleaning the nails off before applying the color. I have cotton fibers, lumps and bumps all under the polish- rushes me, has me pull my hands out from the UV light prematurely to put on a top coat on and only gives me 10-12 seconds under the light before yanking it and putting it away so they're still not fully dried and are tacky. She makes it seem like the salon was stuffed full of customers- it was just me and 1 other person who was already being attended to. When payment time came I pulled out my card. The total was $3. I handed her my card and she told me they don't take cards for such low totals. Since I go to a salon where it's just my 1 nail lady working in her own salon, I'm used to her being able to process any amount with a card whether it be $3 or $40. But fine, no problem. Every place is different. I told her I had no paper money so I had to do quarters. I hand her the money, she shoves it in her drawer and walks to the back room without saying thank you or anything. I have been going to an independent nail artist for the last year and to go back to one of these places reminds me why I looked elsewhere for independent artists who can understand what I'm saying, what I want, who gives me great customer service and quality nails. If you don't care about your nails or customer service, go here. I'm ashamed to say I used to go here years ago. The place is dirty and unkempt. Don't waste your time. read more

First walked in, only customer and they kept talking in their language as to who would do my pedicure. Didn't understand it but no one came to my aid and the older lady kept pushing the younger one towards me. After that a bunch of people came in. I've seen the bad reviews but never been here and needed to get a pedi, bad mistake. My regular place is too pricey for me, $27. Thought this was gonna be cheaper and it's not. It's $35 for a BASIC pedi. Then she kept digging the tool into my toe and now it hurts. Forgot to go to the store to get cash so paid with my card, was going to tip because I always do anyways but they only accept cash tip. So the lady had the nerve to stand there and wait for her tip, but I just walked out because I didn't have cash. Thank goodness I didn't tip, place was horrible. Very rude and ridiculously priced. My pedi took no more than 30mins. I've had an hour pedi before. Please do not waste your money here read more

AWFUL. DIRTY TOOLS. Sitting in my chair I watched one of the nail salon ladies take tools out of a tub of a previous pedicure and was going to use them on me until I said something. Then another nail lady sat down at my friends chair sitting next to me and set her tools (unwrapped) down. My friend said are those clean? The lady said yes. My friend picked up a tool and it LITERALLY had skin on it from a previous pedicure. NEEDLESS to say we got up and left in DISGUST. YUCK! Doesn't even deserve one star. I went in today and asked for almond nails. I was really excited, because this was my first time getting my nails done. The manicurist told me it was going to cost me $30 for almonds. I was fine with the price. When she first began, she didn't fix my cuticles before hand. As she started putting on the false nail/acrylic and started shaping my nails, she didn't even brush off the access dust. I had to stop her and ask to wash my hands. She rushed through the process. When I go to pick out the color I wanted, she kept on rushing me. I wanted to pay after I get my nails done, but she also rushed me to pay while my nails were drying. I was polite and gave her my card and she came back with my receipt & card. I only had to pay $26 instead of $30 (which was good, it does seem like they make up prices as things go). I specifically asked for almond nails. My nails ended up being uneven and too wide at the end, also had acrylic underneath the side of the nails. I had to remove the nail polish and fix/paint them once I got home. It was an okay experience, but I will never go back there again! read more

I used to visit Glamour nails on a regular basis but took a hiatus on nails as I am a stylist and nails can be tricky. I saw a post that they were happy with the speed, me not so much! I walked away paying $80 plus $20 tip for my pedi/nail set. The very next day my French gel manicure that I spent a bundle on had turned yellow and lifting on the edges! I returned to the salon and they basically all laughed, my technician did a little filing and said it was ok; it was not ok. I am not usually one to complain so I left. Still disappointed I returned home trying to decide what to do as I have never gone into a place of business to complain. I was leaving for a dream vacation the very next day with yellow nails! I did decide finally that I would go back and ask for another tech. When I got there, a sign was on the door that they were closed due to a power outage! I get it, we can't control the electric company, but I was in tears! I know it sounds silly, in tears over nails right, but my French manicure was literally bright yellow and I knew I would be in a foreign country the very next day with no way to fix them. Ultimately I went to a great nail salon that fixed them (which of course cost me even more money). At the new salon they could not believe the shoddy work, especially for being gel nails. Thick, yellow, spaces not filled in, edges lifting, and clumps of glue and debris left under the nail tip that could not be removed! A couple of years ago I would have recommended this place with 5 stars; this time I was rushed through, ignored, and thoroughly dissatisfied! I no longer recognized any of the faces, maybe a change in ownership. As a cosmetologist I always tip well as I know that is how we live. This place has lost a customer who is not only loyal, but willing to pay a high gratuity if I am happy. read more
