My friend took me here for a pampering experience. We asked for manicures and pedicures and when we started the guy told us $95. I said no. She said it was okay. The pedicure was okay, my technician didn't speak any English and I had to tell the guy doing my friend what to tell her. They kept trying to get us to do gel. I personally hate gel. I do manicures on myself every week and they last a week. My toes I get at least three weeks. When we said no to gel, the lady named Trish that came to polish my friend said that it will chip the next day. I thought that was pretty rude considering how much it cost for a mediocre job. Mine didn't even last that long. I had two big chips that day. If you want return customers then do a good job the first time. They had lots of return clients that day so they obviously know how to get repeat customers. For how much we paid and what we received it was sadly lacking. I do not recommend. read more

I was very impressed with the service here. It's family-friendly and the people working there were very pleasant. I wound up going to this shop because Betu asked me to return in a couple days and I really couldn't do that. It was meant to be, Glamour was open till 7pm, I had a mani/pedi and eyebrow wax. The hand and feet massage (tony/trish) included was an added bonus. Jennifer did my eyebrows, she got a 10 in my book; I was skeptical but gave them the opportunity at Trish's suggestion. I found my wax girl in the Dover area. Although, I received service immediately after I walked in (vets day weekend), vaughn recommended that i make an appointment Thurs-Sun next time. They are very friendly and noticed that they know their customer's by name. I plan to return in acouple weeks. It's pricey compared to DC or NY but they're competitive for area. However, it's worth it because I value quality over quantity and am not a fan of being pushed through services like cattle. P.s. It' s been 4 days and my mani/pedi still looks fresh -- I also brought my polish with me. read more

Beautiful salon but the worst manicure I have ever gotten! My manicure and my daughters manicure were chipping in less than 24 hours, and we were being extremely careful ( no housework etc..) as we both had important events this weekend. Very expensive for nothing. We will not be returning. read more

Great selection of polishes and good range of services. Appointments are necessary or you may be turned away. The owner has an attitude and spoke to me with a negative tone because I could not come in earlier than my scheduled appointment. I will try other salons with better personalities. I've used Glamour nails on and off for a couple of years now. However, my visit on November 5th will make me never return to their business again. I made an appointment with a specific nail tech to have my nails done for my wedding. I arrive and apparently the owner or someone that is rather high up in the chain of command decided he was not going to do my nails and she was. It was awful. I asked for a French manicure and the colors seeped into one another. One nail chipped within a few hours and I had to return to the business to get it fixed. The lady that did my nails was obviously pissed because I only wanted a gel manicure for my wedding. She would barely take no for an answer when I told her I did not want a pedicure and I did not want a spa treatment (I had a massage appointment later in the day). In addition, she shaped my nails how she wanted them, not how I requested. She also put acrylic on a nail that had a small ding in it after I told her I did NOT want acrylic because it damages the nails too much...she did it anyway and charged me for it. I requested a gel French manicure and was charged $68. Not to mention, pre-pandemic the business had the prices hanging for you to see...they took the sign down and pretty much charge you whatever they want. There is no consistency here and the quality is horrible. I will never use them again. read more

The best nail salon in Dover! I have been coming here for four years or so after having disappointing service from the one across the street. I am a fanatic for having a very clean environment. I think I went to every nail salon in Dover when I moved here and Glamour Nails really is the best. Jenny and Trish create some of the coolest manicures and they're always looking for something fun and new to try. I usually just a simple gel manicure and it never chips or peels like the manicures I've got at other places. I always get tons of compliments. I recently took my dad there when he came to visit for Thanksgiving for his first pedicure. The entire staff is kind and talented and he can't wait to visit and go again. read more

They are so so nice and go above and beyond! I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing their nails done, I usually just do gel polish but I'm sure everything they do is great... I was doing a polish change on my toes from a pedicure I had gotten somewhere else and he recommended shellac for my toes so the polish would stay on in the summer with the salt water and chlorine and sand... How awesome! I didn't even know they could do that on toes! Anyway if you are considering going here I definitely recommend it. read more

My friend and I made an appointment at glamour nails. When we got there I asked what the price was for gel nails. She told me $55, I then asked how much for acrylic. She then made both of us sit down not telling us the price asking what length I wanted and what shape. I then asked how much and she looked at the lady next to her I'm guessing who was the owner and she then told me $65! I have never been to a place who charged more for acrylic. I then asked how much to get coffin shaped she told me $75. We got up to pick out colors and then we left because that is way too much. After we left I got my friend who didn't speak to the lady to call glamour nails and ask how much. When she called the lady told us $35 for acrylic and $55 for gel! We were so mad because by this point we couldn't go anywhere else because everywhere was closed. I have never felt so scammed. We will never go back there again. So before you go in make sure you know the prices because they might try to scam you as well. read more

Always had good experiences here. One thing that I don't like is that spa pedicure costs $50. Most other salons only charge an additional five dollars. They always do a very thorough job so maybe it is worth the extra money. Another thing that I do not like is the fact that it does take a long time to get even the regular pedicure pedicure done here. Most salons I expect to be able to finish a regular pedicure in about a half an hour sometimes I'm here for an hour and half. Most of the time it doesn't bother me though since I'm there to relax and enjoy! But if you're in a rush you're better off to check Lucky Nails. read more

This will be the only nail salon I ever attend in Dover! My mother, sister and I found Glamour Nails, somewhat by accident. We had intended to go elsewhere that was close by at the moment, but we were not impressed with the place. So we searched Google, and luckily found Glamour Nails. The staff was the friendliest I have ever experienced - Trish and Jenny were great! They closed at 8pm, and we didn't arrive until around 7:45. They stayed until we were done, and made sure we were happy with our nails. The building was perfectly clean, and it made for a great evening out! I plan to come back soon and get a pedicure to go with my manicure!! read more

After having my acrylic nails on for about 3 months, I decided to have them taken off. I normally went to a salon in Middletown but I was in a hurry to ge them off and a co-worker had recommended this salon. What an AWFUL experience. First off, I soaked my nails for about 2 minutes in Acetone after the lady had tried to wedge her nail file between the acrylic nail and my real nail cause my actual nail to RIP and BLEED. She didn't seem to care and I had to tell her to stop immediately and let my nails soak so that the other nails wouldnt rip and bleed like that one did. She was clearly in a rush and not eager to take her time to make sure that the customer was satisfied. I will NEVER go there again, no matter how desperate I am. Their customer service was awful, and after all that she wouldn't let me use my debit card, I HAD to pay in cash. In my opinion, she shouldn't have charged me a dime for the way she treated me. read more

I have been looking for a new nail salon for quite some time seeing that I moved and it was a bit of a commute to my normal nail salon and my tech was always booked. I had tried a few other salons but the service was mediocre. A friend of mind told me about Yelp to help in my search and I came across Glamour Nails! After reading the reviews and seeing the pictures I decided to give them a try. Now, I must say that I am extremely picky when it comes to my nails and they did not disappoint!!!! I was VERY impressed by the service that I received. My nails look amazing!!! The staff was very friendly and courteous and the establishment was very clean and had a relaxing feel to it.
