The lady I had wasn't the owner not sure of her name. She kept saying she was tired and it definitely showed in my mani/pedi! I need a pedicure to fix my pedicure. My toes look bad. She barely rubbed my feet. My nails already look like I need to have them redone. They look like I've had the polish on over a wk and you can see a gap between polish and end of nail bed like my nails grew out. She barely cut my cuticles even though I told her multiple times to cut more. After she was done she left so I had to ask the owner to please cut my cuticles more. She did and told me yeah the other lady was tired. She's been there all day but of course they still charged me full price. This place is not very clean. It was dirty, messy and they don't use tub liners on pedicure tubs. There were stains on the carpet. I made an appt for 2 at 415. They finally got me started at 430 but the other person I took with me didn't get started until almost 5 so we couldn't talk much and then I had to wait 30 min for her to be done. Won't be going back. Upset I paid $80 for this now I need to pay more to get it redone. read more

I got a manicure there today for the first time, and I could not be happier. I absolutely love the way they came out, and the atmosphere and customer service was great! Betu helped me narrow down a color when I said I was thinking maybe a purple. I told her I wanted a design but had no idea what. She asked if she could do what she wanted and I said sure - so happy I did!! I highly recommend her and literally can't wait to go again. I was very careful since it was first time I didn't want to break any nail or anything but I pick something up or just be touching my fingers and I seen that they were starting to lift. Upon entering, the salon is small and a bit cramped. The lady doing someone's nails asked what we needed done. After responding, she said pick your color. While selecting our colors, I asked how long we had to wait. There was no response. I went back to the front of the store where a teenager was sitting and spoke to her to find out she was waiting to get her nails done. There were three other techs doing pedicures. If I could rate it 0 I would. I called the morning of to set up an appointment, for two gel sets and one full set. I repeated it multiple times because I already know 3 people is a lot to schedule at once. She said it back to me and said that they could take us. We get there, the women had two gel sets down for our appointment and no full set. Then told me to come back 5 hours later for the full set and tried to tell me that the gel sets would have to wait a little while when there was no one in there at all. Only one customer. So then I tried to work with her and get my full set done at the same time because it WAS MY BIRTHDAY and she refused to even try to work with me and told me either come back later or nothing at all because they were "booked out"????!!!!! No way they were booked with no one in there getting anything done, the workers were simply just sitting around doing nothing. Then the women walked away from me while I was still trying to get a time for me to come get my full set and didn't return to finish the conversation. Completely and utterly upset. When I got my gel set I was advised they are so much easier to take off than acrylic. I guess they sold me on a gel set over the acrylic because it is More expensive. I was told lies. I return to get my nails removed and was told they remove the gel nail by ripping it off which can thin and ruin your nail. You cannot soak them off. I asked about this before I get them done and was not told the truth. I will not be getting my nails done here again. There is nothing worse than being dishonest. I will take them off myself. This unassuming nail salon, in a tiny plaza next to a restaurant, is like finding an old friend who you didn't know. Betu is absolutely delightful. Even though I was one of the last customers of the evening, she was unhurried and genuinely seemed delighted I was there. First and only time here.. loved It in the beginning very personable employees. We had 4 people total 3 pedicures and one nail painting (toes) for a 7 year. 7 year old was up first, while we waited and waited (Friday night so understandable).. the person doing them looked like she was in training so we said again just a nail painting nothing else. It was takin forever but as i said she looked like she was training so no big deal. My 12 year old got her pedicure, all good chatting with her person and even asked how old she was... then it's time to pay $25 dollars for the 7 year olds toes to be painted !!! Uhhh what? We said nail painting only. Their excuse was "well we asked her what she wanted". We explained that that is not what we wanted and should have been asked first. The Owners response "ok we will take It all off and start over just paint" uhhhhh ok more waste of time and money. Then because we refused to pay the $25 for the design she starts accusing us about lying about the 12 year olds age even thou It had been asked while getting them done and we didn't even know about the 12 and under special. Have been going here for months now and love it, Ty is wonderful at gel manicures. Every time I step inside the salon he's always the first to greet me. After the second time going he remembered my name, which is always that's extra touch. They have a good selection of polishes and Ty is a perfectionist when it come to nails. The only downside to that is he normally running a few minutes behind. I always give myself at least an hour and fifteen to be there. The salon also does great eyebrow waxing and you are done in literally 3 minutes. Always make an appointment, especially if you want Ty or Betu. If you forget, There is always at least one person who can take walk ins but it's sometimes a hit or miss. Needless to say, best salon I've found in Dover. read more
