Even though the closing lady was going through some female trouble she still took the time to see me and make my eyebrows look much cleaner. Yes of course I would have preferred that she had showed me the final results in a mirror as every brow person knows to do but because she was in so much pain I suppose that I could Grant her a pardon :-) my brows are much better than when I walked in so for that I am thankful and I will give this place a pretty decent rating based on the hours that they're open and also of the work ethic ever the menstrating. Maybe it's because every time I come to Maleah for an eyebrow fix I leave so pleased I can't stop looking at my eyebrows lol! Maleah is seriously the best , I moved to Menifee (about 50 min away from this location) and still keep coming back to her ! Price is Good . Service is quick and friendly. Glad I found Glamour Brows as my new threading spot! After moving to Escondido, I couldn't keep going to my old threading place and my brows were paying the price. Glamour Brows is nearby, welcome walk ins, and have friendly, efficient threaders. Yay! I've had different people do my brows and they've all done a good job. I've gotten cut once, but she was apologetic and it hasn't happened since. Plus they offer filling in your brows for free and have a loyalty stamp card. read more

I do not know why I have not done a review sooner because I have been going to this place for months and love it! So here's the long overdue review. I go to this place solely for Rosie. Rosie is one of the most attentive, professional, and just plain great at what she does attendants I have ever had the pleasure of coming across. I came in some months ago and my brows were not in the best of shape due to other threading places overworking and making them too thin. Instead of continuing the terrible trend, Rosie started working with me every visit to reshape and correct any past mistakes. The thing I appreciate most about her is that she's so attentive to detail and cares about her customer, making sure that before she sends me on my way she trims down any eyebrow length that strays from the desired shape. I will continue coming to this location solely for Rosie and all of her amazing work. Although everyone at this location is great at what they do, I highly recommend requesting Rosie to take care of you if you have the chance. read more

Tried this place because of the 5 star review and the proximity. When I arrived all 3 chairs were full, so I thought that's fine I'll just wait on the couch for a few minutes. 5 minutes pass and they finish up on their customers and one of them is just standing around at this point. Another customer walks in and goes to the front to sign her name on the list. It was my first time here and I'm annoyed that they didn't tell me to sign in when they clearly saw me come in and sit down. Not happy with my brows either. While the lady was doing my brows, she started calling over the other workers to look at my brows and were talking in another language and that's when I knew that she had f'd up. Said that I had a hole in one of my brows. Like oookay but you should have seen that and been able to work with it instead of taking off too much and making them uneven. I've been looking for a place close to home (Escondido) with a good reputation and also beauticians who are flexible to customer requests. Glamour Brow did not disappoint! It's a pretty popular salon, so there is usually a wait -- especially on the weekends. But management is excellent, and the beauticians are efficient. I had Ms. Shohreh do my eyebrows. I usually prefer them a bit thicker but clean. She did an amazing job following my requests. Normally, I also have a problem with my eyebrows scarring after a threading session (my eyebrow hair is quite thick) but not a scratch after she was done! Keep in mind that they only take cash or debit, and if your card has a chip, you cannot tip from your card. Overall, the atmosphere is pretty friendly and welcoming while services are affordable. I cannot recommend them enough. read more

Additionally, I wanted to try a few of the threaders to test out which ones really fit me. Personally, Maleha has been my favorite!! She's kind, listens to my requests, and is expedient. Horrible customer service! The older lady on the first chair did my brows she had the worst customer service. First of all she called me "big" she said what is wrong with your skin a lady bigger than you had the same issue mind you I have eczema and it flares up all the time. Then she went on taking about my eyebrows how I got ombré brows she then asked what technique they used i told her the gun.. then she goes saying they used the gun on you because you are really oily! Horrible horrible don't go there unless you want to be judged on your imperfections!!!! read more

Ouch! It always hurts me to have my eyebrows shaped and even though it hurts more at the time to have them threaded, the redness goes a way in a few hours as opposed to a few days when I get them waxed instead. It was a nice touch at the end to have a cotton ball soaked in something soothing (maybe witch hazel by the smell, but I didn't ask) pressed into the center of my brows and then spread across them. I like my brows as thick as possible and it always seems like they get a little thinner every time. The shape was good and she even showed me how to fill in my brows with powder because my left one is a little more sparse. It was my first time here and I will definitely go back, hopefully a little sooner this time as it hurts less when I keep up on it as opposed to letting them grow out a little. She gave me a loyalty card when I buy 5 I get the 6th one free. There was a slight wait, but it went pretty quickly and it seemed pretty clean. read more

YESS! Before I went my eyebrows were horrendous and I'm so picky when it comes to my hair and brows. At the other brow places I've gone to, whenever I explain to them how I want my eyebrows the lady tells me no "you should do it this way or you should do it that way". I'm a darker skinned lady, I went into this place very excited to get a henna tattoo. The lady working the desk was nice but the henna tattoo artist made me feel as if she didn't want to do the henna tattoo on my skin type. What gave me that impression was when I was asking the lady at the computer about it she interrupted and came over and told me that the last darker skinned person she did henna tattoo on wasn't happy with the henna tattoo because she thought that it wasn't dark enough and she had to refund her the money back. I explained to her that this wasn't my first time getting henna and I'm well aware of what color the henna is going to be after it drys. After that interaction she kept telling me that the ones I picked was very detail (which I known) and telling me the price very loudly as if I wouldn't be able to afford it. I have very sensitive skin, so waxing, plucking and threading are all pretty painful for me. Rose is very gentle and very understanding. I had given up on threading until I found her. My eyebrows look great now and the pain is manageable. Most people don't find it as painful as I do. The salon is easily accessible and always clean. This place definitely deserves 5 stars. I'm all about supporting locally owned small businesses and was so pleased to have found these girls here. I made the switch from waxing my eyebrows to threading and I'll never go back to waxing again. These ladies definitely know what they're doing. My eyebrows come out perfect every time. I saw Mousjda today for eyebrow threading and she is so sweet, I just adore her. She made the whole process easy and painless and my eyebrows are BEAUTIFUL. She even took the extra time to fill them in and teach me how to do it myself. I'm SO HAPPY! Arin at the reception counter is just as sweet and such a such a joy to talk to. Hum..... I took my daughter yesterday Monday around 2 in the afternoon to get her eyebrows done while I waited in the car because my toddler was taking a nap and I didn't want to wake him up, so I sent my 14 year old daughter alone. I parked right in front of the place so I was able to look inside the place the whole time. There was no one in there but my daughter, the lady that "did" her eyebrows and this other lady which I'm not sure weather she worked there or was just visiting cuz they were doing nothing else but talking. She took forever doing my daughters eyebrows cuz she stopped several times to engage conversation with that woman. Not only that but she did a terrible job. I didn't get a chance to look at her eyebrows right there until we were in San Diego so I couldn't take her back to that place and tell them what the heck!! So disappointed. read more

New to San Diego and after reviewing several different places for threading, I decided to go to Glamour Brows. When it comes to hair removal, you have to choose wisely or you might end up with super thin brows, half brows, or even no brows. I've also had the pleasure of experiencing a rough/rude technician. The service here is fast, friendly, and affordable. I used to pay $20-$30 for threading where I'm from so $10 for eyebrow threading is a nice change. I was even able to convince my husband to get his eyebrows threaded for the first time and he was pretty satisfied with the result. I have been going here for a year just for Rosie. I tried a few of the other women including the owners and nope they just didn't do it right . Was a little disappointed that management told me Rosie was sick than a few weeks later Rosie was on vacation. Ladies I waited almost 5 weeks to get my brows done with Rosie ..... Today was my first time visiting Glamour Brows. I am very unsatisfied with my experience. The place has nice decor and has very ample seating as well as many threading chairs. The reason why I am so unsatisfied is first bc the threading artist was not very friendly. She greeted me as I walked into the studio yet once it was time to thread my eyebrows she said in a very indifferent tone that she could help and throughout the whole threading she was rather rough with her threading techniques as well as with very marked and harsh mannerisms. My eyebrows were not threaded properly. One eyebrow is great and the other one is horribly shaped in the front and took off my natural arch (see attached photo). I am giving it two stars bc I did like that she trimmed my whole eyebrows with scissors and bc one of them came out great but bc of the unfriendliness and failure to do a great job with both of my eyebrows I cannot rate them any higher. They also charge a bit more compared to other threading studios for eyebrow threading and they charged me .50 for using my card without letting me know or any type of announcement. read more
