I was attending a big wedding in Paris and I wanted to get lash extensions the day before I went because I didn't want to wear mascara and bring a lot of make up to the wedding. Needless to say I learned my lesson. I'll start with the good: My lashes looked great and by the time the wedding happened everything was ok and my lashes looked great without mascara. The bad: Throughout the appointment my eyes were tearing constantly and I figured that it was a reaction from the glue or the papers that they put on to hold your lashes back. Nope. I ended up having to go to an eye doctor the next day 2 hours before my flight to France because both of my eyes were absolutely blood shot red and swollen. My doctor looked at my eyes and told me that both eyes were entirely scrapped up and cut. It seems that when I got my lashes put on the tweezers were scaling my eye which would explain the constant tearing. There was nothing my doctor could do to help with that but at least it seemed to heal by the time the actual wedding rolled around. While my lashes looked great I am now absolutely terrified to get lash extensions done again. I was charged close to $300 to get my eyes scraped up. This seems like a lot of money for such a result. I just hope that after my experience this doesn't happen to anyone else. read more

BEST DECISION EVER!!!! I was a very hairy male with dark hair all over my entire body. I had been getting full body waxes for years and it was so expensive, painful, caused an insane amount of in grown hairs, and would last 3 weeks tops. Let me just start by saying this was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had! Getting anything done on the face is very nerve racking, but Kelly at GLAMD makes you feel nothing but comfortable and confident! I had gotten my brows tattooed on years ago, and they were not great. Gaby did my micro blading and my brows are amazing!!!! She really took the time to explain the process and the shape. I get loads of compliments on my brows now. Before I spent so much time drawing them in since they were victims of the 90's skinny brow look. It does take two visits as she recommended (about 4 weeks apart) to get the full effect. So be patient and there is healing time that they are less than ideal but that comes with the territory but Gaby explained all of this so I knew what to expect.
