While I'm not the type that normally frequents Salons, but just per my observation, Jammie is really great with what she does; she knows her stuff.   She is even more fantastic with kids. My daughter really liked her a lot to the point that when it was time for her to get her hair cut again, Jammie would be the first person she wants to go to.   You can find Jammie at Foiled Rotten Salon off Baymeadows Road, in Jacksonville. With someone as indecisive as myself she makes it easy to achieve the look and feel I want but cannot always express so simply. Whether I'm in for a simple trim or a complete transformation including length and color, she makes sure I leave happy and with increased knowledge as to what products she recommends and how to style and keep my locks healthy and looking fabulous. It's always been a challenge to maintain my hair as it's so easy to whip out the old faithful bun routine, but with her help I now love getting into her chair and have had fun experimenting with different hairstyles and techniques utilizing her guidance and expertise. I've recommended her to my friends and family, and those who have taken my word left the salon more than satisfied with the results. As long as Ashley remains in Jax, I shall be her faithful client! For the last 6 months I tried different home remedies and nothing was working. My hair was dry and curl at the top was just not doing anything. That's when I decided to look on Yelp and see what others have been saying about local salons. This brought me here to FRS, Veronica the owner was very responsive through Yelp messaging and suggested glossing with some curl treatments. After reading the existing reviews I decided to give it a try. Veronica had an opening for today with a stylist that I remember reading good reviews on. An hour later I met with Sandy. She took the time to ask me about my hair and evaluate my needs and my hairs needs. After protein treatments and drying I am happy to report I have some curl revived. I don't expect to leave with my healthy curly hair but I left with hair that I believe is the beginning stages of restoration and rejuvenation. I decided to buy the product line they used to continue the curl treatments. After about a month of use I will be sure to provide another update as to the results. Thank you Sandy for a really great experience. Sometimes we overthink going to new places and trusting new people but you made this experience an enjoyable one and I will be back soon.

Okay, maybe not your best, but your hair will look the amazing. So we line up our whole family to get a cuts when we schedule her. We tell her in advance which services that we want (cut, trim, color, etc.) and she brings all the tools needed. She also specializes in color, which is one of the reasons my wife originally found her. My wife and daughters get color and trim and they walk around with tin foil like they are in the movie "Signs" (2002, Joaquin Phoenix) and they are really pleased. My son and I just get cuts, but she takes great care to get everything just as I want, shave our necks, trim eyebrows and overall clean is up. As we all adjust to our quarantine life, she has been a breath of fresh air.
