I am very particular about how I fill in my brows so when I was initially looking at doing microblading a few years ago I was skeptical because it didn't give the powder finish that I like when I fill in with Anastasia Dip Brow. Then I found Jonie and how she did the Ombré Brow technique. After reading her reviews and looked at her work on Instagram I was convinced! She's extremely attentive to what you're looking for and wants to make sure you get exactly what you want - don't be shy if you see something you want to change while she's working or want a particular shape, she is super open and flexible! I was a little worried when I first got my Ombré Brows because they looked harsher/darker than I was hoping but you have to be patient with the healing process like Jonie recommends - they fade and get more natural looking with time! After my brows initially healed I was in love and after my touch up I am SO glad I put my brows in Jonie's hands. I was home for the holidays and wanted to get my lashes done for the New Year before heading off. I found Jonie though Instagram & her Facebook page and reached out to her knowing it highly unlikely that she would have any openings considering it was the holidays but she was extremely accommodating and was able to squeeze me in! She was very sweet and informative and walks you through the entire process from beginning to end. I love that you have the ability to pick the style of how you want your lashes to look - dramatic, cat eye, or natural and then the length of the longest you'd like it to be. So this review is beyond overdue. I got my lashes done by Joni on July 20th 2018. From the moment we first started talking I knew I wanted her to do my lashes. She was so personable and in my case willing and able to squeeze me in last minute. She offered to stay open late to get me in because I was hoping to get my lashes done before my trip to Mexico City for my grandmother's memorial. Once I arrived for my appointment later that night she talked with me about my lifestyle and what I was hoping to achieve so she could help me choose the best service for my needs and wants. I was looking to get my eyebrows microbladed and being fairly new to the area, turned to yelp and found Jonie. She turned my almost non existent (think 90s pencil thin) eyebrows into a couple of masterpieces. She recommended going for a microblade/nanoneedle combo plus shading. She is super knowledgeable about what she does and answers any questions or concerns you bring up. The information packet she gives you also walks you step by step through the healing process and what to expect. They say your eyebrows should be "sisters, not twins" but I could barely fill them in right and they ended up looking adopted instead lol. I had a great time working with Jonie. Starting off with my consultation, Jonie made me feel super comfortable and at ease. She guided me through everything thoroughly. At the end I decided that I wanted to do a little more shading and she did just exactly what I wanted and what I asked for.
