The first year I did microblading (very first time, ever). Then I saw the pictures of his clients and realized how much I'd want the shading on for this time (my second time). Microblading is not permanent but does last a year to a couple/few. I was not sure I'd want to have permanent eyebrows as I got older so this option was my preferred. Arriving and setting up the appointment was quick and simple. Hien is explains all of the steps along the way. Be prepared to explain what kind of eyebrows (arch/no arch/ "korean eyebrows"). I've been so happy with mine! :) I'd highly recommend Hien! I honestly wish I had never gone to Studio H Salon…read more In October 2025, I trusted Mariah, a senior stylist, with my first-ever hair color experience. My hair was completely virgin. I had never dyed, highlighted, or bleached it before, and that is exactly why I was so careful. I showed her a clear inspiration photo, asked if the look could be achieved, and trusted her when she told me it could. The result was not even close. The back of my hair stayed extremely dark while warm/golden pieces were added, especially around the front. It was completely different from the soft, blended dimensional brunette I had dreamed of. What frustrates me the most is that this appointment did not just disappoint me for a few days. More than 10 months later, I am STILL dealing with it. Permanent color was put on my virgin hair, and now I keep going to consultations hoping someone can finally FIX my hair and give me the hair I originally wanted, only to be told that my previous color makes everything much more difficult. Some stylists have even declined to work on my hair and told me I may need to wait for more of it to grow out. I had a consultation before the appointment and was never told that the result would require multiple sessions. Only after I was unhappy was I told that what I wanted could not realistically be achieved in one session. If I had known that beforehand, I would never have agreed to permanently color my virgin hair. The salon refunded $322 of the $362 charge after I raised my concerns, and I appreciate that, but a refund cannot give me my virgin hair back. There genuinely has not been a day that I haven't regretted this appointment. Hair might seem like "just hair" to some people, but for me this has been something I have had to look at and live with every single day for almost a year. I walked into that salon excited for my first color experience, and I left with something I am still trying to fix today. I wish more than anything that I had never done it.

However, after my last appointment, a checkout error resulted in my service charges being applied to another client's credit card. When the salon discovered the issue a week later, they contacted me repeatedly over the course of a single day. I was traveling at the time and unaware of their messages until about 36 hours after the first voicemail was left. By that point, the salon was already escalating the situation and threatening collections if they did not hear from me by the following day. I found this response disproportionately aggressive, especially considering the fault wasn't mine, and I was an established customer with a history in good standing Mistakes happen, what matters is how a business handles them. Studio H's approach made me feel distrusted, unsafe and unvalued as a customer, and for that reason I will not be returning.
