Hadn't planned to do my nails but saw the shop while on a walk and decided to do a walk in as my nails were 3 weeks old. I usually do gel x but decided to try doing builder gel on my natural nails and Tina did an incredibly thorough job! $70 for gel-x acrylic removal, builder gel, and design !!! The lady doing my nails was really nice but my nails look a mess. Even my boyfriend said there were tons of inconsistencies. She did an ombré straight on the extension???? With no nude base underneath. You can literally see my natural nail. The color is also super streaky in some places. The ombré on my right pinky has been reduced to a red splotch because she kept sanding off the design to redo it. There's also a lump on my left thumb. I decided to give this place a second chance and I regret it. I hate leaving bad Yelp reviews, especially for small businesses, but the more I look at these, the more upset I get. 1. I asked for either almond or round nails, whichever one would be easier for the tech to do. She struggled 3x before asking someone else to step in. When the other tech asked me what I wanted, I said round (at that point, round nails were probably easier) and then she started saying how I should've chose almond nails because they look nicer... like yes, that would be ideal if you were able to shape them. They still messed up and my nails are uneven. 2. Still on my manicure, the gel wasn't taken off properly. I had french gel on before and there were parts of the base color left on. The tech was saying how I should put on a normal nail polish color on to hide the "damage." At this point, I was just trying to leave since a mani/pedi with just a top coat was taking over an hour to be completed. 3. The tech who did my pedicure was saying how I should've done square nails instead of because they would've been easier for her... like lol? When I got to my car, I trimmed pieces of my cuticles that were left and peeled off a portion of leftover gel polish (even though I know how terrible that is for your natural nails) because it was getting on my nerves. 2 stars for parking not being impossible and they take Zelle. read more

I had to drive back the next day but ended up leaving and didn't want them to get fixed because first of all I payed $150 In total for them to not last one day. Went for a mani/pedi with some friends. My pedi turned out good. My mani not so much. The technician ended up cutting me really bad that my finger was profusely bleeding and it wouldn't stop. The cut way too deep that I felt the pain during the cut. Didn't notice the bleeding until I looked down when the technician asked the others if they had something for my finger. They didn't even have a first aid kit. The technician continued to finish up w/my nails. I was like how is the polish going to stick when it was still bleeding. The worst part is that they still charged me full price, wth. My finger keep bleeding off and on for about a wk & a half and was tender to the touch the whole time. After w wks it's finally healing. When I usually decide to try a new nail place it's always a hit or miss and I'm usually leaving a little disappointed, but not here!! Tammy always kills it on my nails! This place is just okay. I went in with my two friends and we each had our own experiences. My experience - for my pedicure, she did it pretty fast and my gel polish looks stunning. I don't mind being time efficient but slow it down a bit because when she cleaned under my nails, it hurt a bit because she would go in deeper than where my nail bed started. I have a high pain tolerance so I only felt uncomfortable. But I'm still content with how my toes look. For the lady that did my manicure, all of my nails look great instead of one of my thumbs. She had to redo it 5 times and I felt my nails and cuticle become more sensitive as she redid it. I have pretty strong nails and the workers complimented my nails for it. It's the next day and that thumb is chipped now. Friend # 1 - she also felt discomfort when cleaning underneath her nails. But for her, she actually said ow out loud. Her gel is okay, just some nails doesn't look fully coated. Friend #2 - she got started on first but was last to finish. Her whole session took 2hour and 15 min. A gel mani and pedi should have not taken that long. She originally wanted a French tip pedicure but halfway done, the lady said she couldn't do it and insisted her to do regular gel polish. As for her manicure, it looks very thick and clumpy on the edges. I wish the ladies actually helped out each other when their peers were struggling. Overall they did not give any attitude and kept a positive attitude. But the work does not match its pricing. read more

Called in to ask about gel x removal. Was told it was going to be $10. Had my nails removed with no problems. The service went as expected. However, when I asked how much it was at the end, the girl who did my nail removal asked the other ladies in Vietnamese (I don't think they realized I speak/understand viet) how much she should charge me, $10 or $15. One of the other employees replied "just charge her $15. You can get a cup of che/dessert with the extra $5." Little did they know I planned to tip $5 anyway. She ended asking me for $15 and I had to tell her I was told $10 over the phone. I disdain businesses who try to cheat the customer. It's rude and not a good look. Will not be returning. read more
