I had such a pleasant experience. It felt so good to walk out feeling like a brand new woman. Romelia trimmed a few inches and reassured me the haircut that I wanted would look nice and be easy to manage. My hair is now glossy, lightweight, and feels very healthy. She thinned my hair out, curled and waved it. Within seconds of walking inside my home, all I hear from my husband is "wowwww, you look so cute!". Thank you, Romelia! read more

ROMELIA HAS ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY, FRIED MY HAIR AND IT IS FALLING OUT IN CHUNKS!! PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR HAIR AND SANITY!! :( Romelia made my very healthy, long hair fall out in CHUNKS after overprocessing my hair. She has taken zero accountability or action to resolve this. Even though she fried my hair, she will not refund as she says "a service was provided." Romelia is the most unprofessional person I have ever worked with and should not be allowed to be in business. Romelia disappeared and left me in the chair for over an hour with bleach on my hair while she did laundry/other things. My hair is absolutely fried, I had bleach spots that did not blend, the hair all around my face completely broke off, which will take YEARS to grow back and I was charged for a bayalage, even though she only did a partial highlight. And the worst part is that I reached out to her in an extremely kind manner to resolve this multiple times and she has taken zero accountability for her mistakes. In fact, she read my message I wrote in tears and chose not to respond for 4 days (although she had time to continue posting on instagram) which is extremely unprofessional. I went into the salon with inspiration photos but also seeking Romelia's advice because I told her I wanted to go blonde but my most important goal was to maintain the integrity of my hair. She told me she could do what I asked without a problem or damage. I left with yellow hair, bleach spots throughout and my hair looked like a skunk in a ponytail by how streaky she left it. It was not blended at all and within 2 days, all the hair around my face began breaking off. I messaged her with photos and she asked me to come back in to fix it. I asked her if we could do a root melt to blend my base color into the highlights and tone my hair to fix the brassy blonde. She told me the only two toners in the industry that were available were warm and ash. I know that color is a wide spectrum and that this was not true. I told her I didn't want to be grey and that is exactly how she toned my hair anyways. At the end, I told her I no longer felt blonde and wasn't sure I would get used to it. She told me that she would not charge me and then asked if I wanted a few waves in my hair, I told her yes if she had time and then she proceeded to charge me $50 styling for waves that took her 2 mins and fell out within an hour. A true professional can admit their wrongs and also admit when they don't know how to fix their mistakes (therefore referring you to someone else). I left with grey hair, more bleach spots and my hair falling out into even further chunks. I had to get bangs today by another stylist just to try to hide the damage because my hair is 3 inches long in the front and along the sides now. I have huge holes in my hair (that goes down to my mid back) that I will now need extensions to fill in for the next several years while it grows back. Every stylist in the salon that fixed my hair was shocked at the amount of overprocessing and breakage I had. PLEASE learn from my mistake and do not go here if you value your hair/sanity. These people are crooks and have no idea what they're doing!! Photos posted are of the breakage/bleach spots after the first session and continued breakage after the second. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! read more

I have been going to Jessey for over two years . I have to say she is amazing . I recently came in a few weeks ago for hair and makeup for a friend's wedding. She did a fantastic job and the makeup stayed on the whole night (that never happens for me) .She is so friendly and makes you feel at home. Can't wait to book my next haircut with her and glam myself up again. read more

tip: Book ahead of time as Jessy operates by appointments only! I came here before heading to vacation for a pedicure. The salon was clean and nice looking as she was there with another individual. My appointment was for 12p and my soak occurred for almost 20 minutes which seemed to be a bit long as I had a 1pm conference call to do. So I was kind of on edge as I was hoping to get started. Being a new customer, I definitely got asked a lot of questions as Jessy made it a point to get to know me. I opted for no leg scrub and no polish as we wrapped up closer to 12:50p. Parking around there is possible along Peterson or around the corner as well if you don't wish to pay for a meter. She did a good job of over communicating to ensure I would be there for my appointment via text messages through some automated program. read more

Jessy is amazing with hair color especially with bayalage on dark brown thick wavy Asian hair! She always seems to know the amount of highlight needed while keeping the look natural and soft. I love her haircuts and pricing is reasonable. I initially went there to support my local business community not realizing the service and hair treatments were great! Not only does she have a great personality.. her talents shine. I always leave there feeling beautiful and I adore the styling at the end. read more

Im so glad that I trusted Jessy to do my hair extensions for my birthday. She did a half sew in with beads (I hope that's the correct term) and I ended up going on a week long vacation a few days later and my hair still looked amazing. I hiked, swam and did everything you probably shouldn't but these babies stayed in and looked amazing lol! Not only is Jessy very accommodating and professional her knowledge in hair is so extensive it made me feel so at ease! read more

After the umpteenth time of hairdressers screwing up my 13 year old son's hair we went to a place by our house that was suggested by a neighbor that was close. I was pleasantly surprised by what I encountered. Not as cheap as Betty and Nick's and not as expensive as others. $25 for an honest to goodness Great Cut! Glam by Jessy. So impressed. She was professional, clean, and followed to a T the pic I showed her. She's my new person. Loved her salon, too. I honestly think she's underpriced. The kid's hair looks great and he's happy, which ain't easy with a teenager. Thanks, Jess! read more

I made an appointment at the salon for a special occasion hairstyle. My hair stylist Sadie did such an amazing job with my hair I'm still amazed! I attend up to 2-4 weddings a year and I've never been more satisfied with the outcome of my hair until I've tried out Glam By Jessy. She met my expectation plus more. Sadie also did my hair in record time! I was out of the salon in nearly 30 minutes! I've never had a hair stylist do my hair in such a short amount of time. So ladies if you have a jam packed day and you need to get your hair done not only on a timely matter but also get it done beautifully, Sadie is your girl! read more

I just went and got my haircut by the stylist Alex here. They have a great atmosphere and take their Covid precautions seriously. There is a small extra charge since they're using extra supplies for Covid but 100% worth it to keep things safe. Also, I love my new hair and will definitely be going back. read more

Jessy is the only person I will go to for a haircut. She always does an incredible job and is so efficient. The salon environment is always so inviting and clean. Her blow drys are incredible and last for days! She is also very easy to make appointments with which I can't say about any other salon I've been to. She is so friendly and easy to talk to and really makes getting a haircut something to look forward to. I cannot recommend her highly enough!! read more

Gaga did an amazing job! I would definitely book her again. She takes her time with your nails! They came out perfect!

I feel compelled to write a review for this salon due to a situation that just happened. I am a new client here and have come 3x in total to get a blow dry style service. (Once prior to Covid and 2x after quarantine Reopening). I paid $35 for a blow out service, each time. I thought this is a good price and really liked all 3 blow dries (one was by Salon owner and the other by Stylist, Alex). On my last visit, when I was about to pay, I was told $40. I asked why the charge was $40 when just the week before I paid $35. Apparently there is a $5 extra charge for Covid fee. I was told she forgot to charge me last week. Before I even replied back to the stylist, she graciously said it's no problem, I will charge you the same as last week $35. I thanked her And told her I really appreciate it. I also mentioned that I frequently get blow dries at least two times a week and previously discussed getting extensions from her as well. Basically I was already thinking in my mind this was going to be my new salon for all my hair needs. I left happy. Later in the evening I received a text from the owner Basically telling me that I should've known there was a Covid fee because there was a text went out to me back in June as well as email. because I didn't pay the $5 extra for this last service, If I choose to come back to her salon I will be charged $5 for last service in addition to the extra $5 for the new appt. I was actually surprised at how the text came across like it was my fault because I didn't notice the previous text/email. Yes I admit that I did not recall that text message because I get numerous texts from the salon weekly. But an in store visible sign and notification on their website that is clearly added to the regular prices would have been a nicer way of also reminding clients. Not by sending a rude text at 9pm in the evening. I did reply to the owner Explaining that I appreciate her letting me know as well as explained how the Transaction took place. It was not my intention at all not to pay the extra five dollars it was just that the stylist offered to charge the original charge before. It was only after that offer, I told her I apprecIate it and how often I would be coming in. And it's really not in my budget to pay $40+$7 tip several times a week. Not to my surprise the owner Send another text basically telling me I don't need to go to her salon and No one Wil díctate what she will be charging. This whole situation could've been handled much differently. But as a result lost me as a client, getting a bad review and me telling this story to others all over $5. I totally understand it's her business and the charges can be whatever she decides, but to expect a previous fee on a service already performed for the next visit I come, is really unheard of. It's basically like going to a restaurant and ordering something and the waiter doesn't charge for an item and you coming back to the same restaurant and getting billed for your previous visit. A simpler way to handle this would've just to acknowledge the mistake made and let me know going future this will be the new charge. Being rude via text message late in the evening isn't a good way to earn customer loyalty. Too bad I won't be back. read more

One of the best hair cuts and style I've ever had. Got it cut and styled on a Thursday. Wowed everyone I saw with my amazing hair. Slept on it, swam like an old lady, slept on it again and still wowed my sisters on Saturday. No touch ups. Didn't even have to re-flat iron my curly hair. Never has my hair looked so good. Never would I have expected it to look this good this for this long. Then...there's Jessy. Warm, friendly and wonderfully chatty. She somehow washed, cut and styled my unruly hair - that hadn't seen a cut in almost a year- within an hour. Finally my search for an affordable salon that actually knows how to manage my corse, curly mane. I plan on taking my kids there soon, and can't wait till it's time for another cut for myself, too. So grateful I found her!! read more
