Dr. Malena is the best. Want to share Glacier's covid practice. I was very impressed with Dr. Malena. She changes gloves each time and wipe down everywhere and everything between patient. Also they provide hand sanitizer and wipes for patient as well. Here is my story I was having my back, hip and shoulder pain for longtime. Having tingling feeling in right shoulder to arm and couldnt stand up straight. With my back and hip pain, I couldnt walk normal. I visited many different chiropractors and physical therapy. No one couldnt improve my symptoms. Then I visited Dr. Malena. She explained what was wrong and where pain coming from. She treated few times and i noticed my shoulder pain went away first then hips and back. I was able to work without pain. I got treated few months and went on trip for couple month, I was pain free entire time. She is the best!!!!! I trust her treatment and highly recommend her. I ended up changing my review after 11 months after treatment from injuries sustained after a car accident. They have my insurance on file, but ended up billing my settlement for over $3,000 plus. All my other treatment facilities and care teams ended up billing my insurance company. It goes to show how money hungry certain places are and that Malena cares more about her own benefits rather than mine. I had major back and leg pain from the car accident and only had quick 10 minute sessions. The facility is incredibly small with no privacy from other patients and has a shelf in between as a divider. My medical doctor and physical therapist warned me about the hazards or potential harm that chiropractic care can do. (I see what they mean now) My first several weeks of chiro sessions left me achy and in pain but was told by Malena to just "continue icing". Overtime, my pain did start to subside. It's difficult to say but I do think it may have been from my other treatment providers. Not from chiropractic care. Their scheduling window is very minimal with no flexibility so I had to make some time off of work to squeeze in some sessions. The reason why I gave two stars is because I think it helped mostly with my posture and not the injuries sustained from the accident. & also because Malena and Lanie are very sweet people but a tad bit awkward. I work in the medical field myself and do think that some people can benefit from chiropractic care. I also believe that there are A LOT of sketchy places out there--so please be careful and choose a reputable provider/do your research! Dr. Chevigny who recently got married, (congrats) is very patient and direct. I like that he lets you explain what your feeling/situation thoroughly instead of some docs I've had who try to just rush you through. My old Chiro retired and I'm glad he gave me a similar assessment. Their intro special is nice but also their standard rate even with no insurance is pretty affordable considering the Ballard area has jumped in prices in many areas. While I was searching for a new Chiro I noticed a bunch of places offer a good intro price but the next visit was significantly higher. So even if you don't come here do your research not only on your docs reputation but also intro vs standard pricing. Also what was cool was I got a free adjustment on my birthday. I don't remember seeing Lanie the first time I saw the doc but the few times I've been in since she's been a nice addition to a good practice. And if she's been here for a long time I just didn't see her my first visit, oops. She is still really nice and has this calm demeanor that's relaxing which fits a doctors office. Super convenient with the walk-in policy and super affordable if you're able to buy a pre-paid adjustment package. Very happy that I found Dr Luther. The results I've had are nearly instantaneous and get me back up to my regular working capacity. I have just returned back to my daily schedule after visiting Glacier Chiropractic. I got to say, its been a while since I felt as good as I do right now. I strong believe it is my crappy mattress that is make my lower back hurt. Or maybe it's this iPhone. I am a semi retired general contractor in the residential remodel industry for 40 plus years and anyone who is associated with construction knows the beating our bodies take. I have been to many chiropractors over the years with usually good results. I have a reoccurring mid back thoracic issue that if I do stupid things goes out and causes problems. I came to Dr. Malena about a year and a half ago after a grueling job installing a bamboo deck material that was blended with bowling ball resin ( some really hard tough shit). My mid back issue cropped up again and even though it took 6-8 weeks she got me through it and I mean back to normal. Well I had another bout started about a month and a half ago so I came back and even though this time was more acute Dr. Malena worked on me again and got me back to normal so I can now do more grueling grunt work and abuse my body but this time because I am now 72 years old I am taking her advise and doing more stretching and modifying my behavior so I don;t get messed up again. I've been using chiropractors on and off for years. I've suffered a number of injuries from playing Volleyball and Surfing my whole life. I have also worked at desk jobs most of the time so I have bad posture. So I have some major lower back and mid-thoraxic issues. They aren't always there, but they do flare up from time to time. I'm also the type of person that if it doesn't hurt... I kind of forget to keep making it in on a regular basis. With that said, when I need a back adjustment... I need one now. I met Doctor Luther at my local gym. He was pleasant and noticed that my right shoulder was a little high when doing an exercise. He said it was probably my body protecting an injury. He asked if I had every injured myself and I let him know my past history. He suggested a few exercises/stretches to help alleviate the problem for now and invited me into his office for an eval. It'd had been awhile since I had seen a chiropractor so I decided to check it out. I have a fairly good knowledge of my body as you learn more about your body from injuries than you ever do from being healthy. When I went to see Doctor Luther he was very welcoming. His staff was all friendly and the clients there seemed happy to be in the office. Another chiro was coaching someone on some exercises for their back problems on the floor which I have never seen done at other chiropractors. I was already impressed. They had a lot of equipment and space. I had seen some of it but not all. Doctor Luther checked my body out and gave me the usual rundown of ailments I already knew about. He also noticed a rib head poking out of place and flared up. He said this is probably a big part of where my problems stemmed from. He adjusted the area and I immediately felt better. He also ran me through some more exercises to help keep it in place. Doctor Luther had already impressed me with his knowledge and the fact that he looked into other areas of my body for problems not just one portion of my back. But what I really appreciate is Doc Luthers ongoing care. Again, I don't go on a regular basis. But when I do have flare ups he's more than accommodating. He always tries to get me in on last minute notices. He's even stayed late to help me. I've sent several friends to him and everyone loves him. All in all... a great experience. Doctor Luther worked with my insurance and when that ran out he was more than reasonable with pricing. I don't mind spending the money when I know the knowledge and service are there. If you want to be convinced, well you should because he's been doing this work for a long time and wants to help you get better. Litterally. He has helped me a lot the fact I am a massage therapist for 5 years now. Without his chiropractic work I can't continue doing my massage work dealing with pain from my neck and down my low back today. I've tried many chiropractic places but few stand out. My co-worker told me about Glacier Chiropractic and after finding out how cheap the services are I thought I had nothing to lose. I booked an appointment with Dr. Luther and I very much enjoyed his services.    He really did a great job of sculpting his technique to my particular problems, which were mostly lower to mid back issues. I have had chiropractic adjustments in the past that never really the right spot, but Dr. Luther seemed to know just the right amount of force my back needed to really loosen up. I went to see Dr. Chevigny for my neck pain in July and August of 2017. He was fine, not spectacular but fine, my complaint is with the billing. My insurance covered the adjustments but today I was sent a bill for almost 100 dollars in back pay. When I left I was told I had paid in full and now I am told I owe this money over a year later. I wish I could write a good review. Alas, it's been a big pain (no pun intended). Here's the (very long, sorry) low-down: First visit 1/18/2018. Gladly, I paid $71.13 since I hadn't reached my Medicare deductible. Visit was fine, Dr. Chevigny was nice as was Lanie. Second visit 1/22/2018. Gladly, I paid $42.23 for same reason. Fine visit. Third visit 1/24/2018. Gladly, I paid $42.23 for ... Fourth visit 1/26/2018. Gladly, I paid $42.23 you know why... Made no other appts as I was going out of town. Lanie put a post-it note in my chart stating my absence. Within a week, I received notice of an appt. (?) I contacted office, Lanie apologized. I made no other appts. Within a week or two, I received another notice of an appt. (?) I contacted office. Not using there services due to these "scheduled" unscheduled appts. (felt taken advantage of). I changed insurance also so am unable to use their office. After going to other doctor's appointments (not Glacier) where I had to pay more than my office visit due to my deductible not being me (what?), I went on to Medicare's website to view my claims. No claims submitted by Glacier so had to pay another $163.18 due to my deductible "not being met" although I made the payments to Glacier. Since that time I have written many polite emails to the office and got the proverbial run-around. Did I feel taken advantage of? You bet! Not until I suggested the doctor get involved in resolving the refund issue did I get action. Within a few days transactions were supposedly issued. I haven't seen the money in my account as of this date. They also shorted my refund. Medicare doesn't allow for balance billing so I hope they don't think they will keep my money. I'm not one to be negative usually, but I've had it with Glacier. Eeks, me thinks not. read more

After calling pretty much every single place in Seattle i finally found Dr. Luther. Not only were they willing to do an end of settlement payment.. Most clinics require expensive preliminary screening and do not offer walk in service, which can completely deter a young or lower income client such as myself. I moved to Seattle a year ago from NYC where I had a chiropractor who I loved and was a god send for my chronic back pain. I've had a difficult time finding someone effective for me since moving, and my pain has progressively gotten worse. I tried three other chiropractors before trying Glacier Chiropractic, and after my FIRST visit with Dr. Nevin Cokdegerli, I could already feel a difference. I could tell immediately that she could read my body and determine what to do to help, which was not a sense I got from any of the other chiropractors. She is warm and welcoming and obviously very experienced and knowledgeable about health and back care. The office is welcoming, clean and easy to get to in Ballard. Dr. Cokdegerli also has her therapy dog with her, which was so great because I tend to get very anxious at doctor's offices. All around, this was a great experience, I loved Dr. Cokdegerli, and I'm going to be visiting weekly. read more

I had been suffering from gnarly hip pain for months. My primary doctor suggested taking advil- but I couldn't do that forever. I went to Todd with an awful, suddenly crickety neck that completely distracted me from getting work done for days. After attempting to save money with a Groupon at another chiropractor -- which only left me disgruntled and in even greater need of an adjustment -- Todd's practice was a breath of fresh air. The pricing is absolutely fair, and after experiencing the joy of just waltzing right in without an appointment and walking out less crickety 30 minutes later, I think it'll be hard to go back. This clinic is one big open room with three tables, and a seating area out front. If Todd's working on someone when you walk in, you can still lie down on one of the other tables to relax. My neck crick went away after two adjustments, and I loved that he's honest with his recommendations and doesn't try to sell you more adjustments than you need. He did an amazing job to get my back adjusted after my back pain had gotten very unbearable (before seeing him I tweaked my back by bending over to pick up a pen).
