The best dessert spot! Absolutely worth the line, the classic s'mores frozen hot chocolate is SO GOOD!! It's such a great location very walkable and has a candy store inside! They make your drinks & desserts right infront of you and are super quick! The staff is super friendly as well!!! Highly recommend getting a soft serve with the brownie, it's insanely good!
if this was closer to me I'd be in trouble - I am deeply aware of soft serve of supremacy, so I was excited to go to an ice cream place dedicated to this. OK also dedicated the hot chocolate, but it's literally late August who would be doing it - I got the brown butter vanilla soft serve with the pistachio hard shell. I loved how many hard shell options they have like cookie butter & Matcha. - the ice cream was perfectly sweet, with a subtle flavor. the brown butter 100% came through providing a toasted nutty flavor through the soft light vanilla. it was so incredibly smooth and definitely melted very quickly. - my dining companion got the passionfruit sundae with Greek frozen yogurt. it was tangy and light, with almost the exact same smooth consistency with a sweet & sour passionfruit glaze and bits of crispy meringue to change up the texture
After seeing this place all over social media I think my expectations were maybe a bit too high. This was definitely a good dessert but just wasn't a wow factor like I was expecting. The cookie wasn't anything special and was a bit too chewy for my liking. I did however really enjoy the vanilla brown butter soft serve. I think there's other places that also serve really good desserts that aren't as popular. I would personally seek those out instead!
This is the famous Instagramable spot on the Upper East Side to absolutely splurge and feast on sugary goodness. In winter their hot chocolate smores concoction with a huge ring of flamed marshmallow on top is the go-to. They also have a variety of hot chocolate drinks on the menu. If you want ice cream they offer a selection of sundaes, soft serve, seasonal specials, an assorted flavors. Definitely a place to satisfy that sweet tooth craving. Can get very busy at times as I have seen a line down the block for that special hot chocolate.
Very good sorbet (chocolate, lemon) - they also have raspberry. They don't have vegan ice cream but the sorbet is very good.
Such a cute ice cream shop with great flavors! We got the strawberry shortcake sundae where the proceeds are donated to charity and the special lemon froyo/lemon sorbet topped with homemade marshmallow. (Ask for the actual lemon) I think they were $10-15 each Definitely want to go back and try more flavors
The New York thing is, if you see a line, you join it. Idk. That's just what I've seen online. Glace was definitely on our list for our trip under the sweet treat category. Oh, the power of social media. How can you resist these five words: brownie pudding à la mode? That's exactly what we got. While the toasted marshmallow hot chocolate thing seems to be the showstopper, I can assure you the brownie pudding is just as decadent. And that's truly the best word I could use for this dessert. The brownie pudding was rich, gooey, and chocolately. The ice cream was creamy and rich. Both were good as separate entities, but I don't think they're the best pairing together. If I had to choose one or the other, I'd probably go with just the ice cream next time. The staff were super friendly. The line outside probably only took 15 minutes at best. I'd wait again, probably just for the ice cream or to try another item.
Always a hit! Today I did the amalfi lemon. Never go without getting the marshmallow. Perfectly toasted and elevates anything you order. YUM!
It was good but not worth the price! We went on a Saturday afternoon and waited in line for about 15 min. We ordered the froyo/sobert combo in the frozen lemon. It was almost $15 after tax. We liked the lemon sorbert more than the froyo. The marshmallow topping wasn't anything special. On a busy Saturday there wasn't any place to sit but they do have a few tables outside. Overall, I'm glad I tried it, but it's definitely a social media trend/fab.
We've been seeing a lot of videos and promo for their menu items which looked so good online. We came Sunday afternoon and waited in a small line for 5-10 minutes. I ordered their brown butter vanilla soft serve with Nutella crunch. I felt there was barely any of the Nutella crunch topping compared to the soft serve quantity. We also got the brownie ala mode with cookies and cream soft serve. The brownie itself was ok, but the soft serve was good. Overall it feels a bit overhyped.
No line on a Wednesday afternoon! Classic s'mores hot chocolate was actually really good - not too sweet, and the marshmallow was fun. Would try the soft serve next time. They also have a great candy store.
Very yummy! I wish they had the brownie scoop but they ran out of a lot of things so beware to come earlier. I got the frozen hot chocolate and it was delicious and very filling. I hope next time they include more toppings.
I had their pistachio ice cream, topped with a hard-shell chocolate syrup, and it was rich, decadent, and absolutely delicious. It's a must-try anytime you're on the Upper East Side--especially if you're near at the MET or Central Park , or just casually heading for a walk around the Great Lawn. YOU OFFICIALLY HAVE THE SUPREME TOUCH!

After finding Glace on Instagram back in January, I made sure I set out to try my first Glace famous hot chocolate and OH MY HEAVEN in a cup, this was the best hot chocolate EVER! The creamy whip topping and creme brulee hard topping was a perfect combo. If I could try every flavor , I so would. Service was quick and they were super nice ! I loved the truck , so cute !!! Hands down a must try while in NYC! read more

I've been seeing Glace's hot chocolates all over my tiktok ever since last year, but I never got around to trying anything until they opened up this location which is near me. I also knew they had some sundae/ice cream offerings, and when my sister and I saw that the seasonal special was apple pie a la mode, we had to try it. We ended up getting the apple pie and the ferrero hot chocolate. I was honestly super disappointed by the hot chocolate-- it basically tastes like straight up melted chocolate (NOT what hot chocolate is), and it wasn't served to us hot. Literally 3 minutes into consuming it, it was already cold, which made it super unenjoyable. I wouldn't get the hot chocolate again. THAT APPLE PIE though? I'd definitely go for one of their sundaes again and would recommend the soft serve over their hot chocolates. These two items together came out to something like $26 if I'm remembering correctly-- kind of an insane price, so just something to keep in mind. read more
I saw this place pop up on my Instagram and knew it had to stop in when we arrived there was a small line and we were informed they were sold out of the frozen hot chocolate which it's really what I wanted but I stayed because I was really curious about the marshmallow rim they add. Once it was my turn to order I was informed they were sold out of the waffle cone and the chocolate mousse. I was super bummed out but the nice gentleman told me that he would give me free marshmallow so I stuck around. I got a scoop of chocolate brownie ice cream with a marshmallow rim and brownie pieces on top. The entire wait staff was really nice though. I went around 6:30pm so I'm not surprised things were sold out next time I'd defintely come earlier in the day. Anyways the ice cream and the marshmallow rim were really good I liked the toasted marshmallow with the rich chocolate ice cream. The shop is small so you need to be quick with the order and keep the line moving. I'll defintely come back to try more of their delicious sweet treats. read more
I came because of all the high bunch of talk, the menu seems to change a lot every few months or so depending on the season of the holiday it wasn't packed, but the line went quickly. I paid I think $25. I got a cookies and cream, hot chocolate and brown, vanilla sugar soft serve with a Matcha hardshell topping and I will say that the fluff of the cookies and cream hot chocolate was the best thing I've ever had but the hot chocolate itself sadly was a letdown. It wasn't on the sweet side. It really didn't taste like anything and I don't know if they use milk or not, but it didn't give creamy. I would 100% get the cookies and cream ice cream maybe by itself and the soft serve was amazing. So do with that what you may I'm not exactly sure if I would go back and if I did, it would probably be with a friend and I would personally just get the ice cream or the soft serve And skip the hot chocolate. Also half of the store is a candy shop and the only seating is about three or four tables located outside. read more

The taste of the hot chocolate is awful. I came here because I see the huge lines and social media hype. I guess it gets hype because it's different and looks delicious. But I didn't think so - and so many others agree. The hot chocolate was so sweet that I thought it was undrinkable. But hey, at least I got a cute Instagram picture out of it. read more

Finally got to try the hot chocolate. Lucked out and there was no line. Tried the cookies and cream hot chocolate. Absolutely loved the marshmallow rim and the chocolate crumbs. The hot chocolate wasn't too rich and paired nicely with the add ons. Perfect for this weirdly chilly spring day! read more
This is absolutely worth the hype! And life pro tip: they just opened up a truck in the Rockefeller area so if you can't make it uptown maybe stop by there? There was literally no line and virtually no wait for my S'mores Frozen Chocolate order. The drink itself is rich and thick, like a good chocolate milkshake. The marshmallow rim wonderfully toasted and it comes with a dollop of cream and a drizzle of chocolate shell to take it over the top. It is a bit pricey at $11 a cup, but well worth a try at least once! read more
The lines can be long - especially during the winter season but if you want to get a "fun" hot chocolate then this is the place for it! One thing that I really enjoy about the place is that they offer limited time/seasonal flavors. One of my favorite from them was when I got the matcha flavored hot chocolate! read more
This is a viral spot that actually lives up to the hype. For hot cocoa at a price of $11-14, this isn't an everyday thing and very a decadent treat. When we came there was absolutely no wait and were in and out in about 5 minutes. There are spots to sit outside and enjoy the hot chocolate but overall a very small store. When you enter they immediately start toasting the marshmallow and any of the drinks are aesthetically pleasing. I enjoyed the tiramisu hot chocolate and this is easily a shareable drink. This is something you should definitely try once. read more

Glace by Noglu is the internet viral hot chocolate in NY. My friend had tagged me in one of their posts shortly before my trip, so I made a point to visit when I was in NY a couple of months ago. They open at 11am, and my cousin and I were there right when they opened, and there was already a long line. We waited about 20 minutes to get through the doors. The hot chocolate is upwards of $10 each. I got the peppermint hot chocolate $12.50 and it was good, it tastes like a regular peppermint hot cocoa to me. I guess what sets it apart from other places is the torched marshmallow fluff. Cute place to grab hot chocolate! read more

Finally made it here to check out this frozen hot chocolate (FHC) treat and was not disappointed. Got her right at opening on a weekday which unfortunately means that not all FHC options are available as they are still making some ingredients. We tried the cookies n cream FHC and the s'mores FHC. Both were delicious albeit similar creations. A fun cool sweet drink on a hot day. While they are on the pricier side, they're worth at least a visit and I would go back to try some of the other flavors. If there was a long line (over an hour as some have reported) I don't think this is worth that kind of wait. read more

I finally made it to Glace, and I was thrilled that there was no line. The hot chocolate was delicious. I had the classic, while my kids enjoyed the cookies and cream. The flavor was rich and satisfying, definitely not watered down. However, while it was good, I wouldn't have waited two hours for it. Was it worth the hype? Yes and no, yes for the taste, but no for the price I spent 50 on 3 hot chocolates and one cone . Also, the space is very small more than eight people can't fit comfortably. read more
My review for the Glace by Noglu truck at Rockefeller Center. A few weekends ago I had gone to see the Olympic Games at Rockefeller Center and spied people eating ice creams in large cups. After asking a couple I saw the famous truck. Looking at the menu, I decided on the Yuzu Meringue.for the princely sum of $13.95. This had frozen yuzu, marshmallow, whipped cream and pie crust. With tax etc., it was an expensive ice cream. I sat down to eat and after I ate the topping and meringue what remained was a slushy frozen lemonade. Really? If I had to wait in line for an hour for this I would hope that someone would take my temperature or give me smelling salts. With TikTok and media fanfare, Glacé by Noglu has struck gold. The ice creams have creativity but still is just ice cream with meringue and decorations on top. read more
We tried 3 different hot chocolates (hazelnut, cookies & cream, peppermint). I loved the toasted marshmallow mixed with the homemade cream in the middle. I'm a huge fan! I liked all the flavors but I'd say just go with the one you're feeling and I don't think you'll go wrong. Staff here was very friendly and helpful with making a flavor choice. read more

Being somewhat in the neighborhood, I had this place on my list for a pop-in so we walked up from the Tram and grabbed a frozen hot chocolate to share. I had seen this online by NYC foodie posters - and it was still really good. $10.50 for a small glass was kind of steep but honestly - the two guys working were very friendly and held a convo with me about Seinfeld. LOCATION: Glacé is located in a very small storefront on Madison Avenue, but there is a lit and heated enclosure with several cafe tables at the curb. CONCEPT: As the name suggests, Glacé focused on iced treats. Here you can expect some unique flavors and a commitment to a gluten-free menu. However, the shop has since expanded to include hot chocolate to accommodate winter weather refreshment. EXPERIENCE: Glacé has secured a lot of publicity around its expanded offerings, and at very least I felt I needed to give a cup of one of their speciality hot chocolates a try. I ordered the s'more's hot chocolate ($10). Hot chocolate is served in a paper cup that is lined with toasted marshmallow cream ("fluff") and topped with a dollop of whipped cream. The toppings are out of proportion to the quantity and intensity of the hot chocolate flavor, leaving me with the impression that it's appearance is the primary consideration. read more

I stopped by Glace Sunday afternoon around 6pm and was met with a short line outside the storefront. My friend and I waited probably 15 minutes to get in and order, and the process was very quick to get our smores hot chocolate into our hands. The hot chocolate is very rich and yummy - sweet but not terribly too sweet. The whipped cream is very light and fresh and was my favorite hot chocolate accompaniment. I would say though, maybe unpopular opinion, but I didn't think the toasted marshmallow rim was very necessary to add to the hot chocolate - especially for the price. As an FYI, there is seating directly outside the storefront window, and half sheltered seating on the road/curbside seating. No seating indoors and it's a small quaint store overall. Next time if there's not a long line and the weather's chilly, I'd definitely stop by and grab a hot chocolate with whipped cream. When it gets warmer, I'd also probably stop by if I'm in the Area and try their ice cream as I've heard many good things about the ice cream! read more
First place I've personally ever wanted to go to based off a viral Instagram post and am so glad I did! This review is for their Winter pop-up menu :) Sis was in town just after Christmas of 2023 and we stopped by around 6:00 P.M expecting a long line and painful wait. There was a long line, sure, but we were finished eating/drinking by 6:30 P.M! Both got the hot chocolates we saw online lol -- Smores Hot Chocolate with whipped cream. $12.50 each and I wished I ordered 3 more cups! They did have a few other incredibly delicious sounding versions that I'd try next time just to change it up. The drink itself was super good but the toasted marshmallow rim was heavenly. So was the homemade whipped topping but I do wish they had added a graham cracker/g.c essence element. There was a small (crowded) outdoor seating area but we decided to walk a couple hundred feet down to their main location (NoGlu Bakery) where they had seating with tables as well! Limited summer menu at glace dessert eatery. My friend suggested to try and I liked the concept. The menu has limited fun options. I ordered the frozen hot chocolate. Clever name for a chocolate milkshake. I only included whipped cream, I opted out of marshmallow. Personal preference, but if you like marshmallows, dive in! Lastly, no public restrooms, limited patio seating but no dine in seating. The summer is about to begin, why not indulge in hot chocolate year round! read more

The most decadent hot chocolate with so many fun flavors to choose from. The staff was so sweet and welcoming. If you're a hot chocolate fan, this place is a must. Just as a warning though - make sure you're hungry because it's super rich and can be hard to finish! read more

The hot chocolate is as good as it looks, and this is coming from a person who usually does not opt for hot chocolate. I don't know how they prepare it, but it tastes like they take a chocolate bar and melt it right into the cup. The flavor I tried was salted caramel. It was truly out of this world. I am an ice cream connoisseur so I had to try their ice cream. The server was kind enough to let me taste the pistachio and crème brûlée before deciding which one to pick. I ended up getting a pint of each! That is some of the best ice cream I've ever had. It's is super creamy and rich. The store has a great vibe. Customers are not taken for granted, despite the ongoing flow of business this establishment attracts. I highly recommend you try this place. I for one cannot wait to go back. read more
There was a short line of less than 10 people when I got there at noon on Saturday. Most people were together in groups or couples so the line moved quick. There are sitting outside the store but none inside. There were no restrooms. They had seven flavors that varied in price, starting at $7.50. After I placed an order, I got my hot chocolates in about 10 mins. The cup size was 8oz. The base was hot chocolate...creamy but not too chocolatey. They all had marshmallow fluff which was surprisingly not too sweet. It was slightly warm from being torched. The different flavors were in the toppings. The brûlée one was my favorite! The torched sugar gave a nutty flavor and crunch. The cookies and cream one was the sweetest. It had fudge drizzled on top with half an oreo. The smores one was just top with whipped cream. I think they should've added graham crackers somewhere somehow. FYI - they had caps and spoons for grabs. read more

Had to try this insta-famous hot chocolate! There was already a line at 12:10 on a Saturday, decided to take my chances and came back 30 minutes later. The line didn't seem terribly long but it was slow moving. I got on line at Zabar's entrance and it took about 25 minutes for me to get a hot chocolate. I went with the "basic" s'mores in which you just get the fluff and whipped cream for $10. All other versions are $12.50 and up and the add-ons don't really seem worth the additional cost for what you get. I thought the cream and fluff would be too much and I was right! I scooped more than half of each off. The hot chocolate is okay, nothing to brag about. Not overly sweet though. It's get cold rather quickly. It's not a large cup so it's easy to finish. read more

We came here for the hot chocolate and it was good. They have some delicious gelato as well which I recommend. I liked the hot chocolate which was thick and had a strong flavor of chocolate. My friend ordered the apple pie and that to me was really good and I would definitely order that. It was pricey but I know that they very popular right now. Mhmm I did not pay so I'm not sure what the total amount was. I liked it but I do not see myself going back. There is no place to eat inside we sat in their outdoor seating. The service was great the employees were nice and kept the king moving along. read more

Been on the list for a while. Glad to finally try it. Long line but it moved and seemed like no shortage of hot cocoa. Good to have once in your lifetime. Rich hot cocoa, rich heavy cream and sweet meringue around the rim. Savored it and even had cream leftover. Great on cold Dec day. Go try it. So worth it even though it is a bit costly. read more
I'm surprised how delicious this treat was. I got the chocolate chip cookie frozen hot cocoa ($14) and I was really expecting the cocoa to be overly sweet, but it wasn't. The melted marshmallow on top of the cup was very soft and delicious. I'm not a fan of marshmallow and I thought this was fantastic. I went around an hour before closing time on a weekday so it wasn't packed, definitely give this place a try, it went viral for a reason. They have outdoor seating but it is limited so I hope you're able to snag a seat or just go on a walk and enjoy it. I recommend coming here! read more

We went for the Instagram worthy hot chocolate but came out loving the ice cream! It was a 68 degree March day in NY so not a hot chocolate day but when in Rome so my husband and I split the salted caramel hot chocolate. First I will say they are very cool to see we had ours sitting on the table outside and everyone was asking. I thought the caramel probably was not the best choice as it was really sweet with the fluff and whip cream. Now for the best part. I'm GF and did not realize the entire place is GF! So to be able to eat a waffle cone and ice cream with cookies, yes I said cookies in my ice cream was just heaven! read more

During my New York trip, my friends and I stopped by Glace. Everyone went for their famous hot chocolate, but I decided to try the tiramisu ice cream instead. It was super creamy, rich, and definitely filling. My friends tried different flavors of their hot chocolate, Cookies & Cream, Ferrero, and S'mores. Most of them are priced around $13 to $14, but more than just a drink, it's really about the experience. Since they're pretty popular right now, the lines are long, and seating is limited, so keep that in mind. Overall, I enjoyed what I had, and my friends did too. I'd definitely come back on a cold day to try their hot chocolate! read more
I stopped by as I was shopping in the area and decided to try the viral hot chocolate. I was praying I would not be disappointed & I in fact, was not. The hot chocolate here is amazing! I got the classic s'mores and my s/o got the white chocolate brûlée. They were both amazing! The service was quick, although there was a line outside the establishment but it was fast. There isn't any seating, but the aesthetic is very girly. I would recommend to anyone & I am definitely coming back! read more
