The server was great she had a great smile with dimples and was sweet attentive she gets I've come here a few times before for brunch wasn't impressed. Really cute spot I love the decor and the vibes very chill and laid back. We were greeted as we walked in and were able to pick anywhere to sit. Our waiter was amazing she was very attentive and gave us some recommendations on sushi and that was delicious perfect kick of spiciness. Our food came out pretty quick and man it was all so good very flavorful dipping sauces the amount of food was perfect the appetizers were awesome love the calamari crunch and spicy edamame was great. All in all we were definitely satisfied with the food and service I can see why this place was popular to come to many more families arrived as we sat to eat. We picked out the below Spicy Edamame Calamari Chicken & shrimp Steak& shrimp Steak shrimp & scallops Jalapeño Blaze sushi roll (so so good ) All plates came with sautéed veggies and choice of regular rice or $2 extra for fried rice which was perfectly cooked . We were also giving a small salad and miso soup omg perfect dressing on the salad and the soup was really good. This place definitely deserves a 5 star definitely would come back

Several ordered the Blaze bowls, we ordered several batches of wings , and fries, mozzarella sticks and fried pickles. I had a crispy chicken sandwich. I ordered it without the bun and they gave me extra lettuce to wrap it in. It was delicious! The cook was a little confused when I ordered it. lol But I will order that again!. From the last time we were there they had changed the Mac and cheese. We weren't crazy about the new recipe. The owner Diego came out and we gave him an honest review.. asked for the old recipe to come back ! He assured us it would. The first one was more "cheddery ". The new one tonight was more white like a milder cheese. Although they're both very creamy, we preferred the cheddar one. He gave us some Mac n cheese bites. They are so crispy outside & creamy inside. Yummy!! We have had almost everything on the menu.. just a few more things to try. Thank you to Ariella ( not sure if I spelled it right) has been there all 3 times. She makes sure that everyone has everything they need. She keeps the place clean! Please give place a try and make sure you let Diego know how you liked it!

The restaurant is very small, which makes total sense why it's so busy come summer time. I recommend coming in the off season for an easier chance getting a table and enjoying the experience. I don't quite count but I would say there were about 8 tables inside for dining. Sam was our server and he was an absolute joy, he has a great personality and was very present in conversation at each table he served. All of us enjoyed our meals, the food is very good and flavorful. I cannot recommend the garlic mashed potatoes enough!!! These were my favorite item I had, and I've been talking about them since my visit! A mashed potato is my least favorite potato dish, and these were stellar. I also had the chicken club sandwich and it was good, came with lots of avocado on it. My husband went gourmet and had the duck dish and he really enjoyed it as well, said it was very tasty. My sister ordered the ravioli, and raved as well. Each of us finished all of our plates clean. We'd like to come in the future for a special date night, so if you're in the mountains and looking for somewhere special to celebrate something check out the Steam Donkey!

2.5 stars rounded up. I've never thought to stop in Copperopolis on my way to or from Yosemite, but…read morethere's a first time for everything I guess. Popped in after a Yosemite-in-a-day mission for dinner, and it was strange. The shopping center felt like it was some strange faux Disneyland town. Very little things were open, and there's also a hotel? This restaurant and the pizza place seemed to be the most bustling. The restaurant has an enormous door that was easy to open from the outside, a little more difficult to open from the inside. Anyway, enough about the ambiance. We had bikes with us, so they accommodated us outside. Menu was pretty basic: appetizers, salads, sandwiches, pastas, and drinks. Everything looked and sounded delicious to our famished crew, but I think they're banking on starvation. All the food was just okay, mediocre. Nothing was bad, but nothing was amazing either. I got the brisket salad. Brisket ($18) was kinda cold and gummy. The cornbread ($6) was a little tasteless. The honey citrus butter with the cornbread had so much potential but was also a little flavorless. A friend ordered pickle chips and that was probably the tastiest thing we had. Our server rang us all up individually which was great for a group. After tax and tip, it was $30, which hurt for such an unsatisfying meal.

They were sweeping up and cleaning tables as I walked by... I said I felt like I was home as I passed. I was able to seat myself and since I was a party of one I chose the small table in the front window. I felt like I was at home on my porch back home. Watching cars, unwinding. I was watching the locals go by minding my own business sipping on a Modelo. I ate some dinner after a long day at work while traveling out of town. I asked for them to wait to drop my food and I was in no hurry. I was watching the tables to make sure I wasn't taking business. I enjoyed my evening as best as possible since I couldn't be home with my Boyfriend and kiddo. I had read the reviews and asked for the hot sauce and a little bit of each on a chip was delicious and perfect for this Guera. I asked for a side of the mole sauce. I smothered my chicken taco with that mole sauce and I'm telling you the flavors of all their sauces and their food was perfect. The Hispanic family I grew up across from growing up ... when I would walk in that would ask me growing up Quieres comida Guera? Loved it! That's the only thing missing! Them words. A cute funny story is one of their regulars as they were leaving. The owner approached them to say goodbye and the little one that they were carrying, he spoke to them about her meal.
