2 stars for the incredible view from the suites. Downhill from there. Night started with our reservation being late. Then water was spilled all over our table by a server. Then a different server exploded a champagne bottle from the table next door all over our table. Drinks took forever. Food took longer. When food came out it sat on a tray behind our table for at least 10 minutes before I flagged down the server to ask if it was ours, and if we could have it. When we finally got our food it was cold and bland, similar to a chain restaurant in the US (I'd say on par with a Cheesecake Factory/PF Changs but 5x the price). When time to sign the bill we chose not to leave a tip (as we were told tips aren't required in France and a 5 to 10% tip for excellent service is standard). The waiter cancelled our transaction and insisted on a tip, we selected no tip again. Our entire section of the restaurant was very disappointed in the service with multiple guests storming out ahead of us. The only tables that seemed to receive decent service were the influencers who spent the whole time photographing and posting the restaurants great view. My recommendation would be to eat dinner at one of the fantastic restaurants further away from the tourist area, and then come here for a drink and a photo. read more

We made reservations and our card was held immediately. They'll charge 50 euros for cancellation for each person. We went for the experience of having a romantic dinner with an Eiffel Tower view. However, we were seated at the back of the bar by the entrance of the kitchen. The hostess was extremely rude and told us that a reservation only held us a place in the restaurant. We literally watched a chef cut up fish all night. The food portion was extremely small and not satisfying at all. The food was mediocre and the smell of fish was disgraceful. I would not waste my money by going to this establishment. You should go to the location to take gorgeous photos of the Tower. read more

We came for my daughter's birthday dinner. My husband and I asked 4 times for well done steak. Steak came out bloody. We sent it back. Waiter asked if we need anything else and we declined. Because we had ordered so many other dishes we didn't need to remake the steak. He charged us for the steak anyway which is fine. We didn't complain. He brought the check and tossed it on our table. My kids asked for desert and he turned to me and he said I will not bring you desert because your husband is rude. My kids were afraid and started crying. Ruined my daughter's 16th birthday. We dined here last night. I went with the waiter's recommendations which were choices I would have made. It was the best octopus that I've had in my life. Very well balanced and flavorful, perfectly cooked. We sat outside and enjoyed a lovely view of the Eiffel Tower. It was a pretty chilly though. As we started dessert, we realized that there were heaters above which we asked to have turned on. It would have to been nice if that was offered as we sat but I won't knock them for that. It was a special experience for all in my party. Our waiter, Quentin was exceptional and took great care in guiding us through the menu. Though to get reservations but if you can get them, go! It is really surprising how she still works in such a popular restaurant in Paris. She was literally rude to every single person who was checking in in front of us. Every other group in front of us left right before we gave up and left too. They are really not clear regarding the location of your table inside or outside when you make a reservation which is absolutely fine, but god help you if you just ask the girl at the front. She will eat you in a bite. We are visiting from US and booked the restaurant in advance since we were so excited for the experience but we were just left with so much disappointment right off the bat. I don't think I had ever experienced anything like this at any other restaurant ever in my life. I tried to make a reservation for a couple weeks and would try multiple times a day. They don't answer during the times they say they will. Also the information they give you is inconsistent because some say you can only book a couple weeks and some say you can only book a few days in advance so there's clearly no standard. Their food is not even good but the pictures you get will be pretty good. Honestly if you don't have connections your table will suck. They have no problem being rude to you and have the worst service I have ever seen. Save yourself the trouble and just take pics behind this place, then get food somewhere else. This is a tourist money trap. First off, booking your reservation is nearly impossible as they fill up almost immediately. If you're "lucky" enough to get a seat, arrive as early as possible to your reservation otherwise you will be forced to sit inside where there is no view, spotty music, and waiters who constantly bump into you. They will prioritize large parties and those with "connections." My wife and I were thrown in a corner and told there was no seating outside. Shortly after a party of 12 was sat outside and given an amazing view. Lastly, don't come hungry. You will wait for your meal for a minimum of an hour before even an appetizer comes out. And keep your expectation of taste low. read more

Beautiful restaurant. Unfortunately, the day we came it was raining so the terrace was closed. The fries were great - super crispy and perfect. My dad enjoyed the oysters. We came to Paris for a 4-day trip, and on the first day, we made a reservation at Paris Griafe, a restaurant famous for its Eiffel Tower view. Yesterday, we went to Paris Griafe expecting a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower, but we couldn't see any view at all. The first thing I checked when making the reservation was the Eiffel view, and everywhere it was advertised as having the best view of the Eiffel Tower. However, the balcony and outdoor seating area were closed, and the Eiffel Tower could only be seen from a small corner of the balcony. We were seated in the worst spot, and we couldn't see the view at all. I asked to change seats, but the staff's attitude was incredibly rude. There was no information provided when booking that the outdoor area would be closed or that the view would be so limited in the evening, which was very misleading. Anyway, we ate our meal and returned to our hotel. In the early hours of the morning, my husband woke up with severe pain, vomiting, and diarrhea. He vomited for hours. I didn't have any symptoms, but my husband ate raw shrimp, which I hadn't. He got food poisoning from the raw shrimp. It's now 7 AM, and we haven't slept since 4 AM. We will most likely have to cancel our plans for today. Thanks to this restaurant, our vacation was ruined on the very first day. read more

I heard about this place on TikTok so it is to give it a visit. People have mixed opinions about this place I'm say that it's the best restaurant they've been to imperie while others say that all they sell are overpriced seafood platters. Overpriced, yes. Delectable? Also yes. My family and I really really enjoyed the ambience food and service at giraffe the night we were there. We snagged a reservation and were seated at a corner sofa table which was very comfy! They have a concierge-ish coat check area where you can put all of your belongings including oversized items such as the shopping bags we were carrying from earlier that day. If you're willing to splurge a little would highly recommend. Really want to return for when they open up the outdoor area! read more

They said there were no more tables for 2 by the view, so we were cheated out of the experience by being placed at the bar, tucked away. There certainly were more tables, and couples that came after us were able to be moved even after I had asked. I had been stalking their reservation website for months prior to our trip, called and emailed several times trying to get a reservation but to no avail! We were in the area and decided to see if we could do a walk in but were told we could only sit at the bar which I was heartbroken about because what I really wanted was a table with a view. I ordered a glass of wine, sashimi, and my husband had the lobster. Everything was delicious and the service was stellar. The gentleman working the bar even taught my husband how to properly crack open the lobster. Heard so much about this restaurant, had to squeeze it in before returning to the U.S. Our reaervations got messed up, so we showed up at 630 (they open at 7pm) to see if they had any availability. Thankfully, they gave us bar seating. No Eiffel views from there, but still a great seat being able to watch one of the Chefs prepare the sashimi. Got the lobster linguinii, which was excellent. My fiancé thought the cod was too salty, but my bite was perfect. The mojito was amazing despite being made with Appleton Estate rum (usually I go for a rum blanco with mojitos). When I first walked in I notices that everyone was American, but didn't think much of it. Once I saw the prices I was like wtf? Anyway... He did not properly explain our menu when we saw him going in details with the menu at another table. The setting of coarse was magnificent! Truly the place you want to be to capture the best Tour Effiel view while dining! Make Reservations as soon as you know you want to go there! First, you're going to come here to sit outside right by the Eiffel Tower. The deck is very nice and feels like a secluded garden. That being said, the food and drinks were terrific. We started with the raw fish assortment. I don't remember what they all were, but each dish was created to be a perfect bite. This dish is a terrific option for a nice day out in the sun. Take a look at the photo, it can tell you more than I can, but I do remember that it was delicious. She had the tuna tataki for her main dish. It was very good, the sesame went well with the seared fish. I had sea bass with beurre blanc and virgin sauces on the side. This was an expertly cooked fished. It was a little funny how they present the fish then take it away to fillet it for you. The sauces were both very good and paired well with the fish, though if I'm pushed I'd choose the beurre blanc. All of the drinks were very tasty. I'm annoyed with myself for forgetting what she had, one of them came with flowers printed on top of the foam of the drink. I had the Jules Verne: a cognac based drink. It was light and refreshing, perfect for our outdoor lunch. As you can imagine in a place like this, service was very proper. Seated inside due to rain which isn't a problem but they put a statue on the terrace that literally covers the Eiffel Tower view from the inside which was a bummer. There were huge rats running around in the terrace and we could see them the entire duration of our dinner because we were seated at a table next to the terrace glass doors. Luckily got reservations a few weeks before, but if you can't would recommend going there and ask for one/ walk-in. Although it was booked, they were still seating additional parties. The view alone is worth it! Our server was TIRED. His words, not ours. How does anyone reply with that as an answer to Aa guest at your restaurant?‍ Otherwise they'd get 5 stars! The hostess was lovely and accommodating and our fellow diners were spectacular. We had wonderful conversation, delicious food and of course the view!!!!! This place has it all... views & good food. Perfect for that special occasion, or when friends from abroad are in town. All dishes were excellent, and the wine list offered some reasonnable options. Don't skip dessert! Yes, it is difficult to get a reservation, yes it is busy and service will not be the most attentive. But are we really in such a hurry? Relax, enjoy the food, enjoy the view ... probably worth that dreaded selfie... Overall, an excellent night at a unique venue, so I am bumping up my 4-star review to a "five".
