The view of the Eiffel Tower is for sure what is the draw to this spot. We sat on the outdoor patio and had a nice view. The waiter was friendly as well. The area that wasn't amazing was the food. The meal was ok but not great for the prices. So, if you are looking for the view experience the place delivered but if you're looking for an amazing meal I would skip the visit.

Fancy place to go eat with an awesome view of the Eiffel Tower which is probably one of the highlights and amazing for pictures. You do have to reserve and also wait your turn for pictures. When cold and at night dining is inside but you can go out and if you time it perfectly you get the Tower when it lights up. The food was very good and fancy and prices match that so this is not the cheapest to go to. Other than that is a good place to go on a date when you visit Paris.

Tip: you must ask for a table with the Eiffel Tower view. We dined downstairs in the winter (patio was closed) but had the perfect view and saw the Eiffel Tower sparkling as we are. The restaurant was pricey, but it was worth it to celebrate my best friends bday and first time in Paris. The lobster pasta was 10/10. The steak and fries were good but steak was slightly overcooked. The Crab salad was nice and refreshing- generous on the crab! Octopus was decent as well- great flavor but also slightly over overcooked. We also had a side of truffle pasta to try and it was solid. The best part was actually the dessert the passion fruit pavlova was a dream- fluffy light and bursting with flavor, it is my favorite dessert in Paris and Girafe does it well! Paris requires you to follow up with the staff when you need the bill- it's not rude, it's just how Paris is- they allow you to dine for as long as you want. Slow down and enjoy the pace of Paris!

Girafe was another perfect, delicious, luxurious dining experience in Paris. The service was top tier and the views were even better. Book a reservation, and make it a little later so that you're there to see the Eiffel Tower light up and sparkle. The menu is niche and curated but it's all delicious and served so wonderfully. Definitely at this to your list when traveling to Paris!

We had a lovely dinner at Girafe! Unfortunately it had rained earlier in the day, so they closed all outdoor dining. Everyone was seated inside. Of course we were disappointed since the whole point here is to be seated on the terrace with an amazing view of the Eiffel tower. The waitress let us know that there are something like 80 seats outside, but only 60 inside so they don't risk rain and then not being able to move everyone inside. It makes sense, but was still disappointing. Besides that we had an amazing dinner. Our server was super friendly and great at explaining the menu. The champagne of course was spot on as were her wine recs. We took her suggestions and started with the shrimp and cauliflower, both were super flavorful and delicious. For the main we went with the sea bass for two and it was melt in your mouth awesome. Unfortunately it still had some bones in it, but that is the risk you always take with whole fish. This was one of the only restaurants that suggested the automatic 20% tip like they do in the US. Even without the view, we still thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Girafe.

The restaurant is located right outside the exit of the Metro station inside the building ( you can see the stairs to the building from the exit of the metro station; climb the stairs and straight inside you get to Girafe) and that kind of made it convenient though it took us a bit to get in there. Rain Gods went in full blaze and as a result the outside seating was closed though the inside seating is pretty well done and the interiors really make it standout. We ordered yellowtail sashimi, king prawn, crab salad and the Sea Bream ceviche. The salad and prawn seemed to taste ok though the rest of the dishes really stood out especially the ceviche with the sauce. You do get to see the Eiffel Tower in the background and that seems to be reflected in the bill as it turns out to be definitely on the higher side ( much higher for food that is good not astonishing) with the food not necessarily being in the same league. ps: The toilets are located at the entrance to the restaurant ( take the stairs downstairs and turn right) where a flight of stairs takes you to them.

Originally, we booked this for the view of the Eiffel Tower during dinner. However, our table had a bit of an obstructed view because of the statue that was blocking the Eiffel Tower. Granted, you can still see the Eiffel Tower if you move to the edge of your table, but it's off to the side while seated. So, if you're expecting to take pictures at the table with the Eiffel Tower in the background, make sure to ask the hostess not to seat you at the 2 middle tables. The food was just OK. We had the seafood platter, a salad and fish. My favorite was the side of truffle linguine. The drinks were amazing and I definitely recommend the pomegranate pornstar martini, as it seems to be the drink to get in Paris. Overall, the place is a bit pricey for the food being OK, but we still had a great time.

It was our first time in Paris and we HAD to dine at La Suite Girafe. It's a MUST! My husband and I wanted a dining experience where we had the Eiffel Tower in the background (especially for pictures) and a romantic ambiance. We got just that here! We are from the United States and researched how to get a reservation because apparently it's difficult. (TikTok says you can only make reservations one week before desired day.) When we arrived, we were seated immediately. Took the elevator to the terrace and we were blown away! The views of the Eiffel Tower sparkling and the exclusive feel of the terrace made for a perfect date night with my husband. Ok now onto the food. TikTok users raved about the lobster pasta. So I perused the menu and couldn't find what I thought was going to be a small lobster pasta entree on the menu. What I did find was "Homard Bleu, Linguines, Tomates, Aromates" for 280 euros on the menu. Yikes!!! What the heck, $280 for blue lobster pasta?! The pasta is for two, but still!! TikTok users didn't say that. So I was a little disappointed because I came specifically for "lobster pasta". My husband and I ended up ordering it. It was good! But definitely not worth $280. Service sucks!!! Maybe it's a European thing, but every restaurant we went to, we saw our waiter in the beginning and then had to flag them down throughout the night, and that's IF the waitstaff was in eye view. We waited 30 minutes to get the bill. Insane! This is a "you gotta experience it once and that's it" place. It's for tourist.

You pay for the view. The food was pretty good but not great. Our table was kind of forgotten about, we didn't want to be rushed but we were seated before other tables & one of the last to get drinks, take orders, & get our food. I think the food would've been better if it was brought out right away. Was kind of medium temp as if it was sitting for a bit. There are two seatings & we were the first. The good news, they didn't rush us so we could enjoy our food without being in a hurry. Surprise, the pasta with truffles & the shrimp appetizer were pretty good. The servers were really friendly & even photo bombed a few of our pictures.

Great food with stunning Eiffel Tower view! It was not easy getting a reservation for evening dining at La Suite Girafe, as everything looked fully booked for the dates I wanted. I didn't give up and put in a request, and luckily got off the wait list. You have to put down a credit card to secure your reservation. I'm glad I did! Restaurant is located right by Trocadero square inside a building in that has some sort of exhibits. We went into the restaurant and up the elevator to go to the fancier section called La Suite Girafe. There were lots of delicious options on the menu. We decided to splurge and ordered the blue lobster pasta for 2 which was a whopping 280 euros but it was beautifully presented and a ton of food!! The octopus was also super yummy, and scallops were good too...just somewhat small portion. We got the truffle pasta side dish which was tiny but very rich so we probably couldn't have eaten a bigger portion. The house bread was just ok...but can't really complain because it was free. Desserts were good and nicely presented. They brought a sparkler with our dessert for our celebration, which was a fun touch.

3.5 stars It was so hard to get a reservation here but you must make one. Pro-tip: the reservations open exactly 1 week earlier so make sure you set a reminder on your phone. Of course we had to get the lobster pasta. The food itself was actually one of the best in Paris that we had. We came here for the view and it didn't disappoint. Most of the people here were tourists just like us. And you know what that means.... this was the first and only restaurant in Paris that asked for a tip at the end. The server will make you feel as if you should tip them, which we didn't like. It was good to try once though!

This place was a great find! It was our first night in Paris and our son's 18 birthday! It was a little hard to find at first as there isn't much signage from the outside, but the vendors selling the swag outside knew we were there for Girafe! Make sure to book ahead and request the patio! The staff was friendly and I agree with other reviews- the view amazing! We got reservations at 7pm so we saw the transition of the Eiffel tower from day to the twinkling night lights! The apps & drinks were great and the entree's were good but the seafood was better than the steak- mine was overcooked but I didn't complain as this was a special night for our family! I hadn't heard of this drink before but the pornstar drink was delicious! I almost didn't order it as I wasn't sure what it was but it's the orange drink in the pictures! I was so happy with this restaurant for our first night and an epic 18th dinner!

One of the best dinning experience I have ever had in Paris, France. We made advance reservations prior to my trip. And I was excited to dine here with my friend who recently moved to Paris, France and I came for a visit. when we arrived we were greeted warmly with such elegance. The place is beautiful, with elegant design and architectture with the gorgeous view of the tour de Eiffel. We elected to dine outdoors and was escorted nicely to our table. Our servers greeted us with smiles and explained the menu. We were immediately served some water and bread & butter. We elected to order a couple of cocktails and a few delicious items from their menu for our appetizer and entree... please view the photos because I cannot even put it into words how amazing it was! It was mind blowing tastes and freshness. Overall, we had the most wonderful time enjoying our drinks, food, conversations and the ambiance of this place is phenomenal. I will not hesitate to dine here again. Highly recommend!!!

Because in this case, THEY KNEW THEIR STUFF. I loathe oysters with the heat of 10,000 suns, so I had the paté. It was just fine - tasty, and served with plenty of little toast points. But the paté isn't the point of this place. The point is the oysters, and they are divine. My husband had a dozen of their second-least-expensive oysters and he pronounced them amazing - splendid - SUPERB. They are beyond fresh, served on a proper platter with a tall base, and come with a wonderful bottle of vinegar that's aged in cognac casks. He was warned to use only a drop or two, or it will "kill the taste of the oysters." I don't know about that, but I do know that I tried a drop, and I have never tasted anything like it. It was OMG so good. The oysters come with bread - a basket of sturdy slices of what I think was sourdough rye. He had a glass of Bourgogne Aligoté (white), which was eye-wateringly expensive but very, very good. I had a glass of pinot noir, also of very high quality. The restaurant is very small - maybe 10 tables, including the 3 outside - and looks clean and fresh and chic. We sat outside in the warm sun and fresh breeze and had a delightful dining experience. Wait staff are sweet. No one rushes you. It isn't a touristy joint AT ALL, which is lovely to experience in Paris. My only warning is that if you are a larger person, perch carefully upon the chairs. I thought mine was going to collapse at one point. But it didn't. :-) And the oysters were superb.

There was a smattering of ice on the tray but certainly not enough to keep the oysters cold. That said, perhaps this is how the French serve them. These were the only whelk of the trip that had sand in them. And, service was underwhelming. I think a party seated after us was served drinks first and I had to walk to the bar to ask for my check. There, I was ignored until I said something. Then, I asked if I should pay at the bar and they replied, "If you want." They clearly were not ashamed that I was compelled to seek out my check on foot. It was just poor service for a $$$ place. Though, the fois gras pate and smoked scallops were quite good. There are so many other great seafood places in Paris; I wouldn't recommend this one.
