We had an incredible meal here during Downtown Glens Falls Restaurant Week 2026! We sat at the…read morecounter and love watching owner, Shannon Hart-Hume RULE the kitchen while her husband Philip Hume mixes magic cocktails -- definitely sit at the bar if you can. The open kitchen makes the whole experience so fun, and you will feel the passion from everyone working there... We started with the lumpia, which was simple and delicious, with a dipping sauce that had the perfect spicy kick. For entrees, hubby had his favorite, short ribs with frenched onion and I had my fav, Pad Thai -- both were bursting with flavor and beautifully balanced. Dessert was Asian crème brûlée, which was creamy, light, and a perfect finish. Our cocktails hand made by Phil were delicious, the food was outstanding, and the atmosphere they have created is warm, upbeat, and genuine. Every dish felt thoughtfully made, and the staff there truly seems happy to be doing what they do and told us so. They love working with Shannon and Phil. This is our #1 favorite dining experiences in downtown Glens Falls. Pictures show Shannon hard at work!

These folks know what they're doing. Korean wings were spicy as advertised, but hit the mark on crunch, savoriness and just the right level of sweetness. I could have made a meal out of these, but I was nice and shared 'em. We also had a Mediterranean dip sampler that was outstanding. I then had a fabulous salad with Thai-inspired mango shrimp. Others at the table had steak, homemade pappardelle pasta and a version of a wedge salad. Rave reviews all around. Dessert? We almost declined. Instead, we all shared a piece of the gigantic, insanely good slice of baklava cheesecake. Our server was the bomb. Wish I could remember her name. I look forward to going back as the menu changes with the seasons.

There have been many restaurants that this location has hosted over the years. Laurella's opened up…read morerecently and did a lovely job renovating the space. The bar is large and looks very comfortable. Lots of TVs for watching various sports. The overall vibe is very casual and not pretentious at all. Service is friendly, and the food was timed just right. Our friend ordered a Makers on the rocks and I was impressed with the pour. We shared calamari and mozzarella sticks to start; not a trace of greasiness-both served hot and with a delicious side of marinara. The peppers in the calamari could be an appetizer of their own...I could have made a meal of those. I had the buffalo chicken salad with blue cheese dressing on the side. Fab. Grilled chicken pieces were just the right size and coated with a medium spicy sauce over greens, croutons, onions and olives. Others at the table had the ribs and Tuscan chicken. Rave reviews for the Tuscan chicken served with pasta in a creamy garlic sauce. Ribs-huge portion (got the full rack) and the fries were awesome. These are fork and knife ribs; no need to pick them up since they fall off the bone. I would have liked a little more sauce...so next time I'll ask for a side of it. We arrived early and it got busier without being too crazy. I hope they do well-go check them out!

Others I was with enjoyed their food, although my Penne a la Vodka was just ok. It tasted like marinara. Not sure I'll go back.

We stopped in (had eaten there before) and prepared ourselves for a sure to be delicious meal. They have a fun frequently changing menu of small, medium and large plates so you can choose your own foodie adventure. If you want to sit at the bar you get a great view of the chefs at work preparing your meal. If you want a cozier experience, sit in the comfortable seating in the rear of the restaurant. Our server was very attentive but chill and knowledgeable. We got the Utica greens to share as an appetizer, a cocktail and Mad Max local beer, then a burger with hand cut fries and a chicken stuffed poblano. Dessert was a passion fruit chocolate tart which we took to go. If you're looking for well crafted food with a creative twist, this place is a great choice. North country friendly and approachable with a sophisticated set of offerings. Some really unique cocktails too. Not a boring thing on the menu.
