Food, service and ambiance is great. Locals love it. They have entertainment there a couple nights a week.

If you want to sit at the bar you get a great view of the chefs at work preparing your meal. If you want a cozier experience, sit in the comfortable seating in the rear of the restaurant. Our server was very attentive but chill and knowledgeable. We got the Utica greens to share as an appetizer, a cocktail and Mad Max local beer, then a burger with hand cut fries and a chicken stuffed poblano. Dessert was a passion fruit chocolate tart which we took to go. If you're looking for well crafted food with a creative twist, this place is a great choice. North country friendly and approachable with a sophisticated set of offerings. Some really unique cocktails too. Not a boring thing on the menu.

The wraparound porch is just so nice to sit outside and eat in warm weather. They really utilize the space well, as it's covered in colder months so you can still sit there. I was here for brunch on Mother's Day with reservations and was seated promptly. Due to the holiday, parking was not possible in their lot as it can only take a few cars. No matter, as we were able to park nearby. Their brunch menu had plenty to choose from. You were given these small carrot cake muffins to start, then a choice of starter and main along with dessert, wow! You also had a few cocktails to choose from and you could also swap out for a mocktail too. It was extremely busy but the staff was attentive and handled our orders with ease. Their attention to detail was so nice. For starters we had a strawberry salad, French onion soup, tuna tartare, coconut shrimp. For mains, the burger, salmon Benedict, chicken and waffles and a Polynesian style breakfast bowl with coconut shrimp, sticky rice, pineapple and greens. Lastly on a full tummy we had coffee with chocolate mousse, strawberry shortcake and peanut butter cheesecake. Spending the morning here for brunch was the perfect way to kick off the day. Brunch was enjoyed by all. On a side note, I've also had dinner here and you can expect the same wonderful experience. I'll be back again!

They tend to fill up fast so call for a reservation. This is a new location from when they operated out of the previous location on Bay road in Queensbury. The new place is gorgeous, much larger, and fully equipped. That being said, don't let the fact that these are students cooking here fool you, the food they produce is high quality, fine dining meals, at reasonable prices. The meals consist of 3 courses; appetizer, entree, and desert. Everything is made fresh onsite from the bread, to the deserts. there is also a bar for those that like to have wine or a beer with their meals. The menus change every week, and are usually based on specific, regional cuisines, i.e Italian, English, Texas, etc. Much of the products they use are locally grown, however expect to see imported foods from time to time, as the students show their creativity in learning to prepare exotic meals that you won't find anywhere else in the region. I've personally had Kangaroo, wild boar, and alligator prepared by this program, and they were fantastic. It's always a great treat to see what new culinary delights the chef instructors, Matt and Megan have got the students conjuring up each week. My family and I have been fans and supporters of this program for years now, and it just keeps getting and better. At the end of the meal you will be given a comment card to give your critique on your meal, and the service of the wait staff, which is very helpful to the students. Remember this is about teaching so don't be harsh, but be honest. All in all, if you are looking for a great dining experience and excellent food, I highly recommend you give Seasoned a try.

Wish they were open all the time.

The initial impression was the same when we arrived. The place was clean and well put together with a friendly atmosphere. We got our menus and our drinks and took some time to place our orders. We eventually ordered the tavern Mac and cheese and the piggly wiggly burger. We also ordered an extra basket of the tavern fries as those are typically a big hit and very delicious. I got the pretzels for myself. This is where the disappointment began. The Mac and cheese had good taste but it was still very lackluster. We knew to expect loads of cheese; which is great! But what we got was nearly just cheese itself... maybe a handful of noodles. The burger was also a huge disappointment. As having had it before I knew it was pretty good. This time it wasn't . What I got was a greasy unseasoned burger, pulled pork with no flavor and coleslaw that was bland as well. The bun was soggy. The burger was soaking wet. The pretzels were still doughy and not fully cooked. They were very hard and not as good as I had hoped seeing as they were once amazing. The fries were soaked in their oil. They are seasoned, and they are tossed with their seasoning and oil. However these were soggy, nor crispy in the slightest and dripped all over the place. Service was mediocre at best. Plates were pulled without asking if we were finished . Upon returning the server seemed to be somewhat condescending . Had I not brought large bills I would have not left a tip to be quite frank. Overall I do not plan to return here . I am very dissatisfied. I hope this place turns back around but as for me, I do not plan to spend my money here anymore.
