Horrible experience please do not come to this location! Service is horrible!!! Placed a phone order to go, we knew the deep dish was going to take long but later our party wanted to add another order of spaghetti so I called back and asked how much longer for the pizza so he went to check and he said the pizza ticket had never printed and we're going to put a rush on it. When we arrive we are waiting at the door with no one in sight .. someone finally guides us to the take out counter and says someone will help us there . We are waiting for several minutes with multiple employees walking back and forth, a lady even uses the register right in front of us and NOT ONE PERSON ACKNOWLEDGES WE WERE THERE. I finally say "excuse me?" To 2 of the workers in front of us neither of them look up at us and as one is walking around the counter I say "excuse me?" Again to him as he passes right in front of me and he yells "I'm working!" And continues to look down without even making eye contact with me I was flabbergasted!! Weirdest experience ever at a restaurant . I turn around and see a new employee there and ask again! And turns around with airpods and say will get someone with a little smirk on his face ..a new gentleman comes out to the register as begins with the second order of spaghetti won't have a lot of meat sauce because the my ran out mind you they close at 11 and it was only 9pm! The pizza was nice and fresh but the spaghetti was cold with not enough sauce because I'm sure it was packed and sitting before out pizza with even in the oven . Even though the pizza was good the experience in that restaurant was so strange I will never be going back . First meal here after a long day flight.. was super excited but left disappointed. It wasn't the service or the ambiance, but it was the pizza dough. The dough itself is a staple to any pizza and especially for deep dish! The crust lacked the dough feeling of a pizza, instead it was just a thin crust, super thin. I love deep dish pizzzaaaa!! Oh man you can't go wrong with this stuff. I bought the 3 topping personal size pizza. Chicken, bacon and mushrooms. The personal size was filling af. Super rich and flavorful. I'd highly recommend ordering this combo. The chicken is cooked to perfection and stuffed inside with mushrooms. Bacon is layered on top and crispy in every bite. This particular location is in a small shopping plaza and they are not too far from Disney. The parking lot offers adequate parking. First, when we walked in the guy seating people said there would be a short wait they were short staffed and he was very professional about it we told him we understood so we sat in the waiting seats. While waiting another group of 4 came in and were told the same. We were seated at a table a girl came over to take our drink order returned with drinks and we ordered a small pizza she said it would be like 25 min. we said no problem. The group after us was seated and had the same server, finally our pizza came someone else brought it. While we weee eating it we wanted more sauce but couldn't find our server so we waved down someone else lady came over we explained we didn't know where our serve is but we need some sauce, she said no problem. It took a little while for the sauce, the pizza was a little dry it didn't have very much on it. So I finally saw our server and she was taking care of the table that came in after us. So she finally come over and asked is everything ok, I said NO she says well I have a table of 15 and other tables. We didn't see any other large groups. I said please bring the check she brings it and I ask why is tea 2 different prices she tells me she just works here she doesn't know the prices. Then say are you going to give me your payment I'm busy. She was extremely rude all the other servers were able to take care of there tables without any issues. Pizza is something that is always close to my heart while it slowly kills it at the same time lol! Coming here it was all about that deep dish as that just sounded amazing and let me say the pizza was good except for the crust as it just tasted like a flavorless cracker but the rest of the pizza was yummy with the cheese and sauce having a nice flavor to them as well as the pepperoni and sausage making for some yummy toppings especially when mixed with the jalapeños! Our service was really good in the beginning but right after our food was delivered the service went the other way and it was us flagging down associates for anything that we needed as our server never came back to check on us and then took even longer to come back at the end for our check making for some mediocre service all around. We heard about this establishment from one of the magazines that we picked up as it came with a coupon for free garlic cheese bread so that was definitely a plus as it was pretty good and had a nice sauce to dunk it into! Overall the pizza here wasn't the best I've ever had but it wasn't the worst like I doubt I'll come back as with soo many places in the area it just didn't say Heyy Rachel come back! read more

The service stinks. Got takeout. 1st time they gave me 2 out of 7 items. After telling them I'm missing items, I got 3 more items. Then after checking, I realized I'm missing 2 more items. All on the receipt which I'm paying for, but not handed to me. This is after I came the night before and their system was down. Here's the food review: Mediocre at best. Pizza tasted like cardboard. Also extremely salty. Sauce had a weird taste. And the Chicago beef sandwich was horrible. Looked like a child put it together. Horrible place, stay away. Being from Chicago its great to have some hometown pizza up the road. We don't go too often because it tends to be a bit pricey for pizza but it's always so worth it. This time we had ordered a thin crust pizza and a stuffed pizza. This always works great because the stuffed takes longer than the thin one. We also ordered a family size salad. It had a tart lemon dressing on it. It was plenty for 5 of us to have full plates and some leftover. When the pizzas arrived they had brought out to thin crust pizzas. Within seconds our phenomenal server came over and said I am so sorry they made the wrong pizza. You can keep this one and we are going to make you a stuffed one that you can take home or eat here whatever you prefer. (Comped she said). I was thinking we would be paying for the one thing and one stuffed but instead they charged us for two thin which is a big savings. Excellent, proactive service. I am so impressed. We sat in the bar area and our server had several tables and I think she was also the bartender. But she was on it. Everyone in the whole section never had an empty drink she would be sure to bring everyone refills. Of course it always makes us happy to see all the Chicago memorabilia on the walls. If you want a cheese pull Instagram video and nothing else, you can't go wrong with Giordano's. It's a block of string cheese so large your lactose pill will balk at the task. If you want a pizza that has evenly spaced toppings, enough sauce to negate the literal pounds of mozzarella, and a light and buttery crust, you should probably look elsewhere. Outside of the cheese, the rest of the pizza consistently misses the mark. The only positive I remember about the pizza was pulling a slice and the banana peppers on top. Everything else seemed like an after thought, especially the crust which was closer to a cracker because of how dry it was. You'd think chocking down the crust would be made easier with the amount of sauce they put on top but it's really not - the pizza is like a black hole for moisture and sauce. You're not sure where it goes but by the time you take three bites, you're stuck with a brick of cold cheese and a self loathing reminder of Florida's mediocre food options. This isn't a knock on the people who work here though - they were all great and super pleasant throughout the pickup process, quick as it was. I'd usually recommend dining in instead of takeout for a meal like this as a means of giving it another shot but I've already been to the Giordano's in Chicago, eaten there, and have still walked away feeling the same way. Decided to sample some pizza. This spot has Detroit style deep deep deepdish. Um, maybe too deep for my first trip here. Going for thin crust instead. So far the service is pretty darned good. Atmosphere is pretty laid back. Strangely enough, I'm in what's supposed to be an OG Italian pizzaria, but country music is bangin' out on the speakers. Not completely averse to country, but with a steakhouse, yes, a pizzaria? Notsomuch. One super plus? They proudly serve Pepsi products. Winner. That alone earned a star. TV screens throughout. Love it. For starters, complimentary cheesy breadsticks with gooey asiago parm mix, and warm marina for dipping. Was the best. Added a mixed green house salad. Fresh greens, not iceberg lettuce. Grated parm. This place is hitting on all cylinders. Did I mention Pepsi? They have it. Pizza has oodles of toppings. They pack on the meats and veggies. This was an excellent meal . The worst Chicago style deep dish pizza I've ever had. When you are used to Lou Maldonado in Chicago, this wasn't even close.

I don't get really deep dish pizza often. I'm not sure why I love it so but I do. Giordanos is amazing. It was raining in Orlando and after a long drenched day at the outlets, I looked over at hubs and said...why don't we just go back to the hotel and order some food. He chose White Castle burgers and I went for the deep dish. When I ordered, they said it would be 1.5 hours and it was. I began drinking my citrus vodka and poof. 1.5 hours later....an amazing yet lukewarm pizza arrived. At this point, I really don't care. Threw that bad boy in the oven and voila! Wow! What an awesome experience! Natalie was our server tonite. So pleasant, attentive, informative and accommodating! Went for dinner while on a brief visit in Orlando. Typical noisy pizza place, but not typical with the taste of the food! We started with Mozzarella Triangles, Cheesy Garlic Bread, and Traditional Chicken Wings. All were FANTASTIC! HIGHLY recommend the Mozzarella and wings! Then we ordered the deep dish pizzas. Natalie informed us when she first approached the table that it would be 35-40 minutes for a deep dish pizza if that's what we chose to order. Hubs and I got a medium Deep Dish Chicago Classic minus green peppers and added sausage. Our dinner companions ordered a small specialty deep dish pizza, toasts garlic on the entire pizza then half Canadian bacon and pineapple and half tomatoes and spinach. The garlic smelled amazing! I'd never had a Chicago style pizza and it was delicious! I could only eat 1 slice though, it's so much food in one slice. Our friends loved their pizza as well. I used to like Giordano's and looked forward to getting Chicago deep dish in Florida. I don't know if my taste has changed or if they have gone downhill but I thought the crust was flavorless and seemed like it had been frozen. Our service at this location was also terrible. We showed up a little after 9 and the place was fairly empty. After we were seated we waited for at least 10 mins before anyone acknowledged us. Once someone finally came over to take our order it turns out she was the manager. We ordered a salad and a deep dish pizza. She let us know that the deep dish takes about 45 mins, which was fine. Shortly after ordering our actual server brought out our salad and introduced himself and said that he was given a large party in the back. After we finished with the salad he came back to clear our plates and I asked for a water since I had finished my lemonade and wanted to make sure I was all set for when the pizza came out. As I was afraid of, he disappeared. Another server brought our pizza out about 15 mins later, which was actually quicker than the 45 minute projection but I still had no drink. 5-10 mins later we were able to flag down our server and asked him for the water a second time. He apologized and brought it out shortly after. He then vanished again and didn't appear until a good 10-15 minutes after we had finished eating. We asked for a box and the check and sat there for another 10-15 until he finally had the host bring it to us. As I expected they did not apply the discount code I had given when we ordered so I had to send the check back to be adjusted. As we were about to leave our server showed up to apologize but it was too late. I always tip a minimum of 20% even with sub-par service but considering he didn't even do the bare minimum and prioritized his other large party over us I felt like the tip should reflect the effort. read more

The calamari was delicious, however was unpleasantly surprised when there was breaded fried lemon slices... weird & inedible. Man was this bad!!!! I ordered a simple garlic bread and a deep dish with meatball & the word "underwhelming " does not come close to describing just how bad this meal was. First the garlic bread, if you could call it that because there was next to no garlic to be found. It was more like lightly buttered bread that had barely been completely toasted. There was no garlic flavor and if it wasn't for the decently tasting sauce, there is no reason for this to even exist. Continuing that theme, the pizza was not cooked well and was not cut all the way through, which would be fine if the outside of the crust around the edges was not already cracking off. The pizza was severely underdone and I ended up having to finish cooking the two slices I was able to put down in my own oven at home, which is not why I purchased this in the first place. If I wanted it as a take and bake I could've ordered that way. What they call meatball was wafer thin with no taste and resembled more like a flavorless pepperoni. I have had Giordano's in Chicago and it was so much better that I cannot even believe they are calling this by the same name. I spent over 30 years in the restaurant business, and I have not been more disappointed by a meal that I was excited for in more years than I care to remember and which had let me down completely in every way. If there was a way to give it zero stars I would. I wish I had my $35 back and sadly they lost somebody who would have been a very, very loyal customer if they had done things right.
