Highly don't recommend. We were finally ready to eat and starving. When we picked up the food, first thing I noticed was the smell. I assumed it was just the box that smelled off and hoping it wasn't the pizza itself. Finally sat down to eat it and unfortunately it was the pizza. The bread for the pizza was thin and soggy like wet cardboard and the cheese was clumped together like it was curdled so it was sliding/getting pulled off the pizza. The garlic knots smelled great but tasted bland. It was still a step up from the pizza (not saying much). The best thing were the wings which why we rated this place a 2/5 instead of 1/5. Honestly I don't know why this was some of the best pizza I've ever had at a hotel. I got the simplest thing - pepperoni, bacon, spinach... and I felt like I was at a popular pizza joint. It was so good! Service was good and friendly then I also loved the price of $10. Can't beat that read more

Heads up, if you're in a hurry, get something prepackaged. I had the chicken wings, took about 15 minutes. However it was definitely worth the wait. They don't skimp on the seasoning, it you can tell it was jus put in the microwave, like half way expected. Little pricey, but that is to be expected, since it's inside the DoubleTree. While staying at the Double Tree by Hilton at Sea World we needed a convenient, easy bite to eat. We found Alberto's Pizzeria and saw it was fairly busy. That is usually a good sign for good food at a fair price. The line to order went fast and the people working the counter were welcoming and friendly. We ordered the 18" pepperoni pizza and a few beers from there self serve refrigerated case. I had to go with a Peroni to get into the Italian mood with pizza and all. After about 10 minutes out pizza came out and it was fresh and piping hot. Nice! The pizza has a great crispy thin crust that was pretty tasty. Just a light amount of sauce, which I prefer, and a nice even spread of pepperoni. We came in just for a little bite and planned to take the rest back to our room but ended up eating the whole pizza, it just tasted so good. Definitely a good option for easy food while staying at hotel. The pizzeria also had a cold drinks, coffee, salads, pastries, cereal cups, soups and snacks. read more

Things can be a bit pricey here, but you are really paying for the convenience. If you order anything that is not prepackaged, be prepared to wait 10-15 min for your order. I had the cheese pizza while here and it was not the best pizza I have ever had. However, it was pretty decent and worked for me. Staff is very friendly too! read more

Menu options are limited as it's mostly a grab-and-go deal for soft drinks & snacks. Think of it as not much more than a convenience store. Their Tuscan Chicken sandwich was sizeable and worth the $8.50. However, their "meatball grinder" - for the same price - is nothing more than three small meatballs on what is otherwise a hot dog roll sized bun. You can polish it in under three minutes & is almost an appetizer. Avoid it; you'll be hungry again an hour later. read more

I wouldn't go out of my way to eat at Alberto's, but if you're staying at the Doubletree, it's A-OK. Don't get the garlic knots- they're chewy, and not great. The personal pizzas are on point though. Crust is tasty, sauce isn't pasty, and the toppings are nice and fresh. They have make-your-own 3-topping options as well as predesigned varieties. I had a Florentine (veggie) and make-your-own with meatball on two separate nights, enjoyed both, and had more than I could eat for dinner. At $8 per pizza, you're not going to get a better deal at any hotel restaurant, or anywhere near the convention center. The personnel working the counter were friendly, and my meals were made quickly. Three stars instead of four because I don't think I would go out of my way to go here if I lived in the area, but I do recommend it wholeheartedly if you're staying or attending a conference at the Doubletree. read more

I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza but disliked the garlic knots. The knots were stale and hard to chew. I had pizza leftover and was able to reheat it in the microwave the next day. Besides pizza, they have wings, subs, salads, ice cream and variety of snacks and drinks. They are open late and it's a quick wait time for the food. Tip, tip for everyone: this pizzeria is located inside the double tree hotel. Parking is a bit complicated, if your picking up your order, you can park on the side in the front entrance of the hotel and just in case let the security know. It took me forever to find this place specially because they do not indicate they are inside the hotel towards the pool on the left side. The employee there saw that I was a bit upset because you the difficulty finding the place. I explained very nicely the dilema I had finding this pizza place! I proceeded ordering a pepperoni pizza for my son (i told her if I don't find this place am about to get me a pizza from little Caesars) lol. They were nice and to give me the lg pizza free with a 2 liter soda, plates and utensils for FREE! She definitely turned a bad experience into a positive! Meal deal of pizza, wings, and knots for $26 - pretty good deal. Pizza was meh. I wouldn't get garlic knots again - kinda chewy and lacked flavor, dry. Every restaurant messed up things from time to time. I think I was their mess up for the night. I placed my order over the phone and was told to go in about 7 mins to pick up my order. I went and paid and waited and waited. After 40 minutes I asked about my order but the people working didn't know or had an idea of what to do. My order apparently had been lost so I told them just make my order and they did so after an hour and some I finally got my order. My pizzas had a great crust and the meditarían was good but the toppings had shifted on the pizza. I didn't tilt the boxes.
