Giordano's holds a special place for me as it was the first deep dish pie I had years ago during my first visit to Chicago, so when I was staying in nearby Lombard for a few nights, I had to seek out a deep dish pie and was pleasantly surprised to see this Giordano's location! While I have sampled and tried many iterations of the deep dish pizza over the years, Giordano's is the classic...maybe not the best, but definitely the most classic of deep dish pizzas in my opinion. For this visit, I bellied up to the bar, grabbed a signature cocktail and went all in for my dinner. I started with an order of the cheese bread and followed up with a personal pepperoni deep dish. The cocktail, Windy City Punch, was okay. Nothing special, but it hit the spot and was a solid drink to wash down the pizza with. Food wise, the deep dish was great. Personal pizza was a tad smaller than expected, but it was just enough. The pizza itself was tasty, just what I was after! While the pie was good, the cheese bread was disappointing. First, they either gave me the wrong bread, forgot the cheese or need to rebrand the dish. It was lacking cheese and was pretty lackluster for a starter. Service was okay at the bar. The bartender was friendly and helpful, but was also doubling as a waitress on the floor, so she was not around most of my meal. Overall, decent visit to Giordano's. Always nice to get a deep dish when in the Chicagoland area! read more

Just okay. Food tasted okay, but super slow service. They gave one kid the wrong pasta shape - spaghetti instead of penne and luckily it was the least fussy one. Also, at the end when we asked to take the pizzas home, and we said we would take my husbands and the two pieces my daughter had left of hers, they brought one box that was too small to hold it all, so we had to smash it closed. read more

First time at this location with my wife and sister! We were seated immediately and our order was taken shortly after. The restaurant has a nice reddish ambiance. We ordered the following items: - Deep Dish Pizza ( Half Cheese/Half Veggies) - Calamari - Cheesy Garlic Bread - Root Beer Float The calamari is not that good would not recommend, the cheesy garlic bread was ok, Root beer float was good, and last but the least the deep dish pizza which was good. read more

Nope. Burnt my pizza. Thin crust with onions and green peppers. 3:00 in the afternoon. Haven't ordered from here in maybe a couple years. I'm done. Sorry but not gonna try them again .... Thank you for contacting me. I got home. Opened the box. The pizza was burnt. I posted a negative review right away. Not nice. My bad. I should have contacted you first directly. I want to apologize for reacting so quickly. It's only one pizza. Only my pizza. Not your whole business. Plus, I have not visited Giordano's for at least a couple years. I'm not looking for a refund, a replacement, or anything free. Again, I regret not giving you the opportunity to address it privately first. 100 percent my mistake. I truly should have waited 48 hours before reacting. read more

We came on a Saturday evening. yes it was a little busy, but there was no wait when we walked in. It took a while for anybody to notice us waiting to be seated. Finally, soneone did and seated us. It took a while for a server to come to the table. We ordered the Sampler, the cheese bread was not good - The chicken nuggets tasted like frozen - the mozzarella Square was not bad. Their version of Buscetta is a joke. The server didn't have any silverware napkins for us so we had to get The manager to give them us. Then we ordered the thin crust pizza. It was OK we've had better. the service was not great.. He took the order and Drop the food off, then gave us our check and that was it He never checked on us. so unfortunately, we will not be back. read more

Came with a small group of high schoolers who had never had deep dish. The service was great, the deep dish pizza was tasty, the appetizers were plenty and an overall success. The manager was patient with me when I had to produce my tax exempt letter. Great customer service is always appreciated. read more

Food was great and the place was clean. The service however, very SLOW! Don't come here if you want to eat and run, I waited 25 mins for someone to take my order and no one showed up. They had people cleaning and standing around, but they only had one server on the floor at 5pm. I ended up moving to the bar to get service which was great! The bartender was exceptional! read more

i ate here about a year ago so I'll do my best with this review. I got to my nearby hotel on a work trip and this was my first stop for Chicago style pizza cause it was near my hotel. I sat at the bar and had a really great bartender that recommended the right beer and pizza. I would certainly go back next time I'm staying near Oakbrook Terrace. read more

Visiting from Cleveland, Ohio, and was anxious to give Giordano's a try. On my last night in town I ordered carryout and picked up a medium, deep dish pepperoni pie. They do also sell frozen pies, but I drove 5 hours home with a fresh baked deep dish and my family throughly enjoyed. read more

After living in Chicago for 45 years, decided to give them a shot. The traditional thin is too much dough IMO. Got a 12" pepperoni. Certainly not loaded with toppings. I should have asked for well done as I like the cheese blistered. Took half home so can torch it for leftovers. Service was a tag team. I must have come at shift change. Hostesses were helping out. I thought it was good but have other favorites. read more

I actually enjoyed their meatball and chicken parmigiana sandwiches. They come with a choice of fries or salad and I chose the latter. Both sandwiches had an amazing flavor in the sauce that transformed the food in mouthwatering delectables. Delivery was fast and he actually came to my room on the 12th floor. I was planning to meet them downstairs but he was at my door knocking. I will definitely order from them again when here. read more

Had my kids with me in Chicago (their first visit). We were tired after a day at the museum but the kids wanted to order Giordano's delivery. Just like I remember. Great deep dish. The driver had service in mind when he showed up with plates and plastic ware (the hotel didn't have any available). read more

Visiting Chicago so just HAD to have deep dish pizza. It was sooo good! Heavenly actually.

I believe it's the manager for the Oak Brook restaurant. My son was minding his business cutting up his straw paper and he came up to him and wanted the paper from him because he didn't want him to drop it on the floor cause it would've made a lot of mess for them to clean up very rude. My son is on a spectrum. Don't think you should go up to anybody's kids and ask them from anything I came to this restaurant to have dinner with my son. By the way, he's 10 years old restaurant is filthy. Will not be coming back here. read more

Giordano's - Pizza Individual 6" Cheese Deep Dish Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois

Have been waiting to come back to Chicago to taste the buttery goodness of deep dish pizza. And of course, Giordano's is a staple. We ordered a cheese and a pepperoni. The cheese was ok but the pepperoni definitely packed more flavor. The crust was a bit drier than what I remember but was still good. Unfortunately, the service was not great. Our waitress was not so friendly and got a bit snippy when we asked for ranch dressing to accompany the pizza. read more

We are in from out of town and had to try this pizza! The double crust is similar to pie crust, and is amazing! I don't want to know how much cheese I ate in one slice, but it was worth it!! read more

Delicious Chicago style pizza can be had here. That buttery crust and good quality cheese will have you coming back time and time again. I was surprised at how tasty their salads were too. The personal pizza might seem small initially but this thing is like a casserole and you keep eating, and eating, and it doesn't seem to get any smaller. Left about a quarter of it because I just couldn't finish it as much as I wanted to. There's a reason why it's so popular, definitely worth a try. read more

Never in my life have I given a bad review. I overheard my server DEVONTE complaining about us sitting in his section IN FRONT OF US. Very unprofessional. I left for a brief moment and came back to my partner telling me that the server had just threw straws at the table. He never checked in on us. Being rude and disrespectful is going to get you nowhere in life. Our experience here ruined our appetite from not being treated like proper customers. read more

A Chicago staple. I love this place and visit every time I'm in town. I made me own this go round. Pepperoni, sausage, and bacon. It's always better with bacon right? Great service, great food. Deep dish is like no other. It does take time to make, but you want them taking their time and not rushing it. If you're debating visiting or to get the deep dish, I'll make the answer easy. YES to both. read more

Brought friends in from out of town for some Chicago-style pizza! This Giordano's location in Oak Brook did not disappoint. Manager even came over to ensure we were happy with everything. Great pizza, delicious salads, yum! Thank you!!! read more

Food and service were great. Ordered both deep dish and thin crust... both delivered. Our server, Lolita, paid attention to detail and was very friendly. She even attempted to chase down customers who forgot their leftovers! Enjoyed our experience. read more

They gave away our reservation. The hostess was very apologetic, not realizing she was sitting the wrong party. We didn't have to wait too long to be seated. Our wait person was very friendly but not very attentive. The wait person did not ask if we wanted refills, or appetizers. We had to wait a longer than normal for our Deep dish formerly Stuffed pizza. We ordered cheese and sausage, there was very little sausage in the pizza. That was always Giordano's signature pizza that we have loved for over 40 years. We were so disappointed. The italiano salad was good and the combo appetizer platter was passable. We would recommend it. read more

This particular location was not as good as others as far as the pizzas, no where near the one downtown.

Always a pleasure when I come here. Service is great. It is noisy due to the close tables. The pizza takes some time to get to you but always tasty read more

oh boy, oh boy words cannot describe how good the cheese pizza was. My mouth was tingling with the sensation of pure greatness.

Had dinner with my family. Appetizers were good. Pizza was good. They brought out the pasta for my children. The pasta with bolognese sauce was horrific! Smelled like someone had smoked a pack of cigarettes on it. My son took 3 bites and we sent it back. I wish he hadn't eaten any of it. It upset his stomach so bad it caused some unwelcome results. The server was good. The manager was horrible. Barely apologized and only offered a glass of water for our trouble. We've been there many times and this has to be the worst experience. Guess that'll teach us for going out of our way and not staying in our neighborhood which we should've gone to the Naperville location. Again, manager there was horrible!! read more

Goodfood service good wait time ok for being busy Saturday we had medium sausages pan with half banana peppers good pan pizza

Great experience! They were very hospitable and the food was delicious! Would come again.

Best stuffed pizza around. Classic Chicago special times pizza. Thin crust is a lil dry usually. People there are always nice at multiple locations. Pizza is very consistent and delicious. Now I'm gunna order a stuffed pizza because cause I was talking about it. read more

Plain deep dish is good, but the chicken sausage deep dish is better. Prices are hefty for wings but we enjoyed the sauce. Great salad, that's a must try. The fennel and cheese really shine. Dressing tends to be at the bottom, so toss it well. Family size was more than enough for 4 people, next time I would choose the smaller entree portion. Deep dish must be eaten hot and fresh. We really enjoyed our meal. Shoutout to the manager for being wonderful when a situation happened with our baby girl. Can't wait to come back! read more
