We came on a Saturday evening. yes it was a little busy, but there was no wait when we walked in. It took a while for anybody to notice us waiting to be seated. Finally, soneone did and seated us. It took a while for a server to come to the table. We ordered the Sampler, the cheese bread was not good - The chicken nuggets tasted like frozen - the mozzarella Square was not bad. Their version of Buscetta is a joke. The server didn't have any silverware napkins for us so we had to get The manager to give them us. Then we ordered the thin crust pizza. It was OK we've had better. the service was not great.. He took the order and Drop the food off, then gave us our check and that was it He never checked on us. so unfortunately, we will not be back.

First time at this location with my wife and sister! We were seated immediately and our order was taken shortly after. The restaurant has a nice reddish ambiance. We ordered the following items: - Deep Dish Pizza ( Half Cheese/Half Veggies) - Calamari - Cheesy Garlic Bread - Root Beer Float The calamari is not that good would not recommend, the cheesy garlic bread was ok, Root beer float was good, and last but the least the deep dish pizza which was good.

After living in Chicago for 45 years, decided to give them a shot. The traditional thin is too much dough IMO. Got a 12" pepperoni. Certainly not loaded with toppings. I should have asked for well done as I like the cheese blistered. Took half home so can torch it for leftovers. Service was a tag team. I must have come at shift change. Hostesses were helping out. I thought it was good but have other favorites.

Yep. Solid. Fits the cliche perfectly. Win win win. Ordered for take out. 1000% good.

I believe it's the manager for the Oak Brook restaurant. My son was minding his business cutting up his straw paper and he came up to him and wanted the paper from him because he didn't want him to drop it on the floor cause it would've made a lot of mess for them to clean up very rude. My son is on a spectrum. Don't think you should go up to anybody's kids and ask them from anything I came to this restaurant to have dinner with my son. By the way, he's 10 years old restaurant is filthy. Will not be coming back here.

Have been waiting to come back to Chicago to taste the buttery goodness of deep dish pizza. And of course, Giordano's is a staple. We ordered a cheese and a pepperoni. The cheese was ok but the pepperoni definitely packed more flavor. The crust was a bit drier than what I remember but was still good. Unfortunately, the service was not great. Our waitress was not so friendly and got a bit snippy when we asked for ranch dressing to accompany the pizza.

    One table in use

Went in for lunch and they had an over abundance of empty tables. There was three people in my party and I was told to wait five or 10 minutes for a table. I waited, and no one assisted me. We will not be back to this location.

Never in my life have I given a bad review. I overheard my server DEVONTE complaining about us sitting in his section IN FRONT OF US. Very unprofessional. I left for a brief moment and came back to my partner telling me that the server had just threw straws at the table. He never checked in on us. Being rude and disrespectful is going to get you nowhere in life. Our experience here ruined our appetite from not being treated like proper customers.

We are in from out of town and had to try this pizza! The double crust is similar to pie crust, and is amazing! I don't want to know how much cheese I ate in one slice, but it was worth it!!

The space is beautiful, though the tables are... let's just say neighborly. Great if you enjoy bonding with strangers, less great if you like a little elbow room. The menu is interesting and inviting. We started with the parmesan artichokes. Crunchy and satisfying, with nice pieces throughout, but a bit shy on flavor. It felt like it almost got to the party but stopped just outside the door. For mains, everyone genuinely enjoyed their dishes. I had the gnocchi della casa with porcini ragù. The gnocchi were soft, light, and pillowy, though just a touch dense and missing that subtle potato flavor that makes you close your eyes for a second. Not quite at the level of my mom's or grandma's (but let's be honest, nothing ever is). The mushroom sauce was tasty, though it leaned slightly vinegary. The pistachio-crusted whitefish was a standout. Perfectly crisp on the outside, flaky and tender on the inside. Definitely a win. The risotto of the day was creamy and comforting, but it felt like it was missing that little spark, that "something" that takes it from good to memorable. Drinks were a highlight. The Sicilian Negroni and Fields of Tuscany were both well-crafted and delicious. No notes there. For the price, it's a solid spot and worth experiencing at least once. Come for the energy, stay for the drinks, and maybe bring your best "I don't mind sitting close" attitude.

I ordered the mushroom and truffle pizza and was pleasantly surprised by its balanced flavors. Truffle can sometimes overpower a dish, but everything was thoughtfully executed. The concept feels fresh while complementing Cooper's Hawk's reputation for wine and hospitality. The price point was on the high side for us but not out-of-reach. We arrived and was immediately sat in the bar; in fact, everyone is sat in the bar. The dining room has about twenty tables, and they were two tables being used; the bar also had about twenty tables and every table was sat. I asked the waiter and they do sit the bar area first and overflow into the dining room. With the bar area at near capacity and all hard surfaces it was very loud. The dining room had carpet floor and a coffered beamed ceiling it was tremendously quiet. If you want the energy of a crowded restaurant the bar is great, the dinning rom is a more upscale experience.  We started with Calamari Friiti, that is the title of the dish. In smaller print the description is Crispy Fried Calamari, Zucchini,  and herbs. What was served was 70% NOT Calamari but thin fried zucchini strips, fried rosemary (literally the twig of rosemary in batter and fried), and fried thyme (the thyme was removed from the twig so I could not even find it., but the waiter said it was there. At $19  expected more Calamari at least 60%, after all the dish was not called "fried herbs and Calamari". Our table had Spaghetti and Meatballs at $24, the Stuffed Pork Chop special (with Broccoli Rabe) at $27, and I had the Eggplant Parmigiana at $20. I get eggplant Parmesan a lot, it is my favorite Italian dish. $20 is high for eggplant Parmesan, I prefer my eggplant thinly sliced and fried. This is more three eggplant steaks with cheese and red gravy. Not my personal favorite but good. The pasta was so unusual I had to ask about it; the waiter said it is made from scratch in house but the shape in an Italian grocery store would be casarecce. I thought $24 for Spaghetti and Meatballs high but my husband said the Meatballs were excellent. Finally, $27 for one Stuffed Pork Chop also seemed high but it tasted great, the garlic white wine sauce made a tasty glaze. We ordered Tiramisu for the table and one person got the blueberry sorbet. I found the Tiramisu traditional and another person thought the mascarpone cheese was whipped too much. I read a several reviews, most of the reviewers praised the service as outstanding; we found our server disappearing for 30 - 40 minutes; we had to call someone over to order desert and another to get the check.

Problem began with our phantom server, waited a while til someone approached us. No water, no menus, no server. Finally after almost 20 min, the server appeared, he seemed very frazzled. Spoke quickly. We asked for a menu, water, silverware & napkins. At almost 30 minutes, we finally ordered our entrees. I ordered Fettuccine Alfredo, and my husband ordered Arrabbiata Sauce w/spaghetti which came with a small side salad or soup. I chose soup, and my husband had a side salad. And we asked for some bread for the table. We waited another 20 minutes for our salad and soup, and I was given a tsp for the soup, all things considered, it was good. We saw the server twice while we were there, appeared very pre-occupied. The kitchen staff served our pasta meals. I'd recommend their pizza, always great and served piping hot. The other appetizers are good as well, and they serve two different types of bread for free. Would recommend to visit with family.

Posto 31 is located in Lagrange Park which is just slightly outside and west of the city. Their restaurant week deal is $45 per person for dinner and every adult in the party is required to participate. We tried the following: 1) Pork belly with a brown butter sweet potato mash and apple slaw - This was a delicious and refreshing appetizer. The fat isn't excessive and there is a good sear with the pork belly. I think it was different in a sense that it didn't exactly go with the Italian theme. 2) Arancini with chicken, parmesan, mozzarella, and marinara. This is the standard fare and you can't go wrong with this selection. 3) Faroe Island salmon with squash puree and Brussel sprout slaw. The salmon was well executed and I loved how it was paired with the slaw. 4) Arrabbiata with squid ink linguini and jumbo shrimp. This was the star of the night and what drew our attention when we first reviewed the restaurant week menu. It is rare to find squid ink linguini in the city and neighboring suburbs. The portion was huge and the flavors were absolutely delicious. We are already planning a return to order this again. 5) Tiramisu was the standard fare and once again, the portion was huge. We demolished it though. 6) Cookie skillet had a square of chocolate chip cookie topped with candied pretzels, vanilla ice cream, and whipped cream. We did not get to try it because our girls just took it to town. So needless to say, it was thoroughly enjoyed. We also ordered the kids' an eight inch pepperoni pizza. It was more than enough for our two girls to share.

The quality of the food and the beautiful private space made the occasion feel truly special. That said, it's the people who make this place exceptional. Ashley, Lindsay, Maria, Gianna, Odanys, Osmel, Eileen, Victor, and the entire kitchen team--Chef Oscar, Gloria, Laura, and Roberto--are the heart and soul of the experience. From start to finish, they asked thoughtful questions, anticipated every detail, and ensured everything ran seamlessly. They handled the heavy lifting so our family could focus on what mattered most: being together and celebrating. Each course was intentional and perfectly timed, and every guest felt genuinely cared for. Lastly, Nancy's impeccable attention to detail, professionalism, and thoughtfulness made the entire planning process not only smooth, but truly memorable.

I ordered the pollo Milanese. The breaded chicken was good, nice and crispy with decent flavor. The pasta was a bit bland and didn't really add much to the dish. The presentation looked great, but overall the taste was lacking. Portions were filling, though I did feel it was a little overpriced for what you get. It's a decent option if you're craving Italian food while on the road, but I'd probably try a different Italian spot next time.
