Rosati's has the great old fashioned thin crust pizza you remember. They also have great chicken wings.

It was pretty good. Ordered through DoorDash and it arrived promptly. The box was soaked in grease on one side. Looked like some cheese spilled over the crust and into the corner of the box. Honestly I'm not a huge fan of deep dish but when I'm in Chicago I feel obligated to give it a chance. This was decent. Very good portions- I was stuffed after 2 pieces. The crust was firm but it felt like it needed some sauce since I felt like it was a little dry. I don't understand how folks eat deep dish when the cheese is just so thick. If you order on the app you will NOT get what you order!! if you order a 12 inch pizza you're actually only getting a 10 inch when you call and talk to them about it the person which I thought was the manager said that's just how the app is, which means in reality they're ripping you off!! I imagine the Rosati's corporate inbox will be flooded with messages similar to mine: while the idea of celebrating your 60th anniversary with $3.50 large 2-topping pizzas sounded awesome, it was anything but that. I placed my order over the phone at 12:05pm for a large pizza to be picked up at 3:30pm. I arrived at your Elmhurst location at 3, just in case it was busy. The line was down the entire sidewalk of other businesses (blocking their front doors). I was told by other patrons that 1. There were no new orders being placed and 2. This was the line for pickup FOR ORDERS ALREADY PLACED. I waited in line until I finally reached the front of the line for my pizza... at 4:28pm. People in line shared a sense of frustration but for the most part kept good attitudes. We cheered whenever someone walked out with their pizza. When I got home to open my pizza, my ticket said "medium" instead of the large and I even measured. Sure enough, I was given a medium size pizza 1 hour after it was promised to me. The real reason for this review is that it seemed that not one person at that location was in charge or taking charge. It seemed like all workers were clueless and moving about without a sense of urgency. There was a worker in flip flops! Bare feet!! At a place serving hot cheesy pizza! With a giant promotion like this, I felt like the Elmhurst location fell short of the level of customer service I expect would be coming from rosati's customers. I'm unclear if there was lack of support from corporate or a lack of management in store that day. It was a terrible experience and I will never return to that location. Yikes. read more

Ordered wings and pizza on the Slice app. They made the wrong flavor wings and the ones they sent, my son does not like so it went to waste. When called they denied that the order was incorrect and wouldn't refund for the ONE item. If I can give this 0 stars I would! I ordered a fairly large order here this past Friday for pick up. When I got home I attempted to tear in half my chicken tender and realized that I couldn't so when I looked down at my food it was raw chicken inside. I got so grossed out! I ended up throwing everything away. I called and gave them my check number and told the manager "Fran" what happened and I'm pretty sure to get me off the phone he stated he'll refund for the tenders. Of course no refund was received. Luckily my 2 year old didn't want any because I attempted to give her a piece but she refused. Really bad service, bad food, and bad management. So I order pizza here yesterday during the polar vortex. I was happy they were open and willing to deliver. I said I know it's issue the weather today when can you be here with the huge order I got. He said 11:50. I said that great cause our people take certain lunch hours. When 12 comes by and no order, I called, they said he loading up know, you are 5 mins from us, he will be there shortly. No problem just getting status. Well he lied. I wait for another 30 minutes and call again. He told me he was there, I said I'm waiting here he is not. He said he will be there. So he finally comes, I give sign for the food. Well they forget the dressing for 2 trays of salad and serving utensils. I call they said they would drop back off. Then he forgot to give me a receipt. I call the manager later In the day to advise this is almost $700 and I need a recipe to get reimbursement from my company. He can not get my email right so he said a driver would drop it off since we are so close. He apologized once and said if we orders from them again he would give s small discount. I won't do that again. Stay away they are very incompetent there if placing large orders. I know there are around 50 Rosati's across multiple states, so I guess they'd be considered a national chain, but I think they're so much better than the other fast food pizza places that there really is no comparison. I would rank their pizza up with the best in E-Town. If I lived on the north side of town this would be my go to pizza place. It's not cheap, but it's good. Strictly a takeout place. Ordered through Uber. Called about missing items, said they were there but too busy to have someone drop it off. Offer me a $10 credit for missing 2 items from a $40 order. Guy on phone didn't seem to care as I can see this is an ongoing issue with Rosatis. Might I add that their quality of food has gone downhill in the last few years since ownership has transitioned into new ownership. Just sad to see a local business that used to have good food and good service do a complete 180 to poo poo food and poo poo service. I'll never be ordering from Poosatis again. Rosati's has good pizza and friendly staff. It's a little on the pricy side, and I also recommend ordering on a weekend. I am only 3 blocks away from this location, and it took them over an hour to deliver 1 pizza on a Friday night. They also didn't bother taking my phone number down so I ended up having to call them at the 1 hour mark to see where my order was. No discount, no nothing. They also screwed up and put sausage instead of pepperoni like I asked for. But I do have to give them 3 stars for the delicious food and decent staff.
