We've always ordered our pizza from Michael Anthony's (love the stuffed crust!) but wanted chicken parmesan for a gathering of 12 friends. I ordered from the catering menu and got the chicken and a Caesar salad for 8-10. It was ready on time when we came to pick it up and the chicken parmesan was delicious! I really liked the Caesar dressing that we got with the salad and the quantity of salad was spot on. Definitely good pizza. Nice menu with a wide variety of choices among pizza, sandwiches, burgers, and Italian plates. I almost got the baked lasagna, which sounded amazing, but really wanted to try the pizza. I ordered the St. Christopher, which has Italian beef, pepperoni, mozzarella and ricotta. It was very good, and I got about 3/4 of a 12" pie down by myself with little problem. The only issue is the pizza also has giardiniera peppers on it, and they really make the pizza pop. If you don't like spicy stuff, you had best order the pizza minus the peppers. They offer thin crust, pan and stuffed. The one I got was thin crust. Not your typical Chicagoland choice, and if you're expecting Giordano's or Lou Malnati's, I don't know that this place does pizza like that. Who knows, they might. As for atmosphere, this is a typical family owned, small shop. Plenty of seating later in the evening. They seem to do a lot of carryout business. I sat down and pretty quickly got the feeling the place doesn't really do a lot of table service, although a server did eventually come out. But I think this is more of an order-at-the-counter kind of joint, which is fine. I hope the place thrives and continues to be around a long while. We're kind of snobs when it comes to pizza but we all agreed that this thin and crispy pizza was really good . I read one review mentioned the sauce as flavorful, check , the thin and crispy crust rated high with us as well and the toppings all first rate . Those who ordered the salads were very pleased . Service was great , servers friendly and with good attitudes. Place wasn't very big but we appreciated that it was quiet and able to hear our conversation over a good meal ! read more

Amazing pizza but it's hit or miss on accuracy. We repeatedly order the thin crust "extra well done" , both via phone ordering and online ordering and 3x now have received a pizza that was super soft, not extra well done and far from crispy and crunchy how we like it. One time we ordered sausage, onions & peppers and received just sausage on the pizza. Another time we received a neighbor's order. I'm not sure why they open at 4pm on Sunday. I'd order more often if they open earlier. I forgot how amazing this pizza is. Today I ordered a large thin crust with; extra sauce, pepperoni on the whole pizza, half sausage, half Italian beef (baked well done) & I have to say this pizza was perfect! The customer service was also perfect. They made sure to read back my order before sending it through. I absolutely love this place. That being said, the parking sucks. While I might order pizza when other people come to visit, I rarely order pizza alone. Well, I did and it was invigorating eating pizza and binge watching 7 episodes of GoT. (Don't worry, I've seen them all, I just wanted to re-watch them.) I ended up ordering the St. Christopher's (Italian beef, pepperoni, giardinara, mozzarella and ricotta) Sounds great, right? There just seemed to be something lacking in this. It wasn't bad, but I wish I would have just ordered my typical sausage with garlic and spinach. I also asked for double dough because I didn't know how thin their thin crust was going to be but I felt like that maybe that was the reason why my pizza didn't feel like it had enough toppings on it. I also ordered their broccoli bites because you know, nothing says healthy like fried stuffed battered broccoli. It was delicious!
