Ok. This was the second Chicago style deep Dish pizza restaurant we tried in Naperville and wish we could have eaten here. The service was super friendly and helpful. They will Pack the frozen pizzas you buy in an insulated heavy duty bag. It kept our pizzas cold for like 12 hours. It kept our pizzas good for our flight home to California. We then cooked the pizzas at our home and had family over to try them. These pizzas were great. We liked them Better than the Lou Malnatti's pizza because Giardino's crust is better. The pizza is so filling with yummy gooey cheese and great crust. This is more like a pie than typical Californian pizza. Can't wait to eat there for our visit next year ( God willing).

Oh how I've missed Giordano's since moving out of the region decades ago! When we spotted one near our hotel, we knew we'd be dropping by during our visit. We were greeted and seated fairly promptly, as soon as a table was cleared. The ambiance was nothing special, just a pizza place with some TVs here and there, but we skipped the appetizer and went straight for a medium sausage and mushroom. Great cheese pull, great ratio of ingredients, just wish we had bigger stomachs to eat more of it! We were only a party of two, but we were hungry and ambitious. After giving it a good effort, we took half with us. Delicious!

This is my review on a take out order. Actually, I bought 2 frozen pizza to go. I bought one from Lou Malnatis and wasn't to do a taste test. I was a bit disappointed with Lou Malnatis pizza. Any who I came on a Saturday afternoon and they weren't busy. The layout of this Giordanos is different. The dining room is hidden behind a wall. You are faced with a long counter and a window to the kitchen. The man who helped with was very pleasant and kind. I bought 3 pizzas which included a freezer bag. Lou Malnatis does not include this. The bag draws plenty of attention at the airport. Everyone knows Giordano pizza! So glad I can take it back home with me a a souvenir!

The special was pretty good! Plenty of toppings. Wasn't a big fan of the deep dish. Felt as though there was a thick layer of cheese that was not melty enough, but cooked perfectly with excellent sauce and toppings. We also god a spaghetti for the kids and that was devoured so fast!

In town for work, had to try Chicago deep dish pizza while in the area. It was a fun experience, not sure the at it was any "better" than any other pizza I've had, but it was good. It satisfied the craving. My friend and I shared the 10" and it was more than enough pizza. Service was friendly. We got a kick out of the "enjoy your pizza party" every time a pizza was brought to a table.

Old Fashioned was absolutely on point. It was perfect after a long flight.

The atmosphere was nice. I sat in the bar area. Everyone was hospitable and friendly. The food was amazing and the Old Fashioned was exactly what was needed. I will definitely be back!

Aug 7, 2023 Monday. Went to Naperville to try some deep dish pizza with family. We ordered a large "meat and more meat" . Omg, so far the best pizza I ever had. Actually this was the first deep dish pizza I ever tried. Service, ambiance , staff were all great. Place is clean. No desserts because pizza was already filling. That stretch of mozzarella cheese tho...so happy. Thanks Giordano for a wonderful pizza experience. Happy eats! Oh, keep in mind that it takes about 45 minutes for the pizza to be ready! It's worth it...

The pizza was SUPER filling. I do like Chicago deep dish but I figured out it is my not my favorite type of pork. Service was a little slow, but I think they're possibly understaffed so I can't blame them.

Amazing! The service was on point and deep dish is amazing! We are visiting from out of town, everything you want in Chicago Pizza place

Tim the manager, was extremely nice. I was the only minority during that time (March 27th 1:30pm) and I only ordered soup because pizza will take 30mins and I had an appointment at Me Spa across the street. Tim however, still treated me with respect and had a smile on his face. Didn't give me attitude and I was quite impressed. I will be back for sure.

Love their pizza. Hate their online prices! So pick up frozen pies and take them home (or ship them) yourself.

Service was great! Everyone was friendly and prompt and wanted to make sure we had a great meal. This is what we ordered: * Nonna's Meatballs * Pear & Fennel Salad (walnuts on the side) * Focaccia di Recco (requested with prosciutto & arugula) * Linguine alle vongole I also ordered an Almafi Spritz (zero proof) which was wonderful and bright a slice of Italy to Chicago's suburbia. The food was fresh and delicious. I recalled a Davanti location in Chicago but never had the chance to check it out, so this was my first time and it was great! The atmosphere is chic and the food was excellent, but not in a flashy, overdone, complicated way, just real good, made in house, hearty Italian fare. The Focaccia Di Recco was AMAZING. Yes, all caps. We packed up half of it to take home and it was still great the next day (reheated and then toasted in our mini counter oven/fryer). If you order just one thing here, let it be this focaccia dish. I understand why it's popular and I blurted out loud several times while eating this in restaurant: "on my god" it was truly divine. As my husband said, "this food might be better than what we had in Italy..." and I don't disagree. The kitchen does not do split portions for pasta but they were able to bring out 2 plates for us to split ourselves. This is a great spot for date night, a ladies night out, or a solo wine & dine at the bar. I can't believe I didn't come sooner. Plus, it's located right next to a parking garage which made our night out really convenient! We can't wait to come back! Five shining stars.

I've had some really great arancini before, and these were alright. The sauce was the highlight, with a nice flavor and a slight kick to it. We were told the pizzas were personal-sized, so everyone in our group ordered their own. When they arrived, they were huge. I went with the Fredo, a more traditional-style pizza, and it was pretty solid with good toppings and flavor. Others at the table ordered the Detroit-style pizzas, and they looked incredible, I wish I had taken some photos. The general consensus was that the pizzas were a bit too bready, but they had good flavor, great presentation, and a nice crispy crust. Service was okay. It took a while for our server to take our order, and I wish we had been advised to share a few pizzas instead of ordering individually. We all ended up taking most of our pizzas to go, but with dinners planned throughout the rest of the trip, they unfortunately didn't get eaten later. Overall, a decent spot with solid pizza and generous portions.

Its very hard to find spots that can accommodate our very particular palates, and even more hard to find good vegan options outside of the city. Thats why I was excited to find this lovely Italian restaurant. The parking lot is small but there's a good amount of sidestreet parking. The inside is warm, cozy and super clean (including the restrooms ). The hospitality stood out right away. The owners and wait staff were very welcoming, and our server was fantastic; honest (which I appreciate), knew the menu well, and once she realized our situation, gave us some wonderful direction on what to order. I wouldn't say that the menu is overwhelming, but I rarely go to a restaurant where it takes me that long to decide what I want. There are lots of interesting options, from braised short rib ravioli to baked ziti, and several tasty appetizers (highly recommend the calamari). But we had come for the PIZZA. My daughter got the kids cheese pizza. It was surprisingly bigger than we thought, and at a great price. The kid only ate half before she said, "I like it...this might be better than [insert famous Chicago pizza brand]." (you MUST KNOW that this is high praise from a 3rd grader). My wife ordered the "They Don't Have Beef With Me" vegan Detroit-style pizza, and I have to admit, it was very good. Somehow they pulled off a buttery (but not butter) crust with melty vegan cheese (but NOT cheese ). Absolutely nailed it. I would have eaten more of hers if I hadn't ordered the Butcher pizza from the wood-fired menu. It was OUTSTANDING. Great flavor, perfect texture. Easily one of thee best wood-fired pizzas I've ever had. We're not drinkers, but they do have a good wine list and some nice zero-proof options, including the Amber Apple and The Drip. We didn't make it to dessert, mostly because the portions are generous, so our bellies (and our to-go boxes) were full. We will definitely be back to try other menu options and for dessert. If your family or friend group includes picky palates or dietary restrictions (the pizzas can be made gluten-free as well), then run...don't walk...to Fiammé. 100/10 recommend.

They promise "a dining experience" on their website, but I could get the same experience at your average Chili's or TGIFriday's without the pretense. Why do I say that? It's the noise...oh, the noise. There were a few tables with large parties, so it was pretty loud. Even leaning in closely, it was hard for my friend and me to hear each other talk. I didn't see any staff ask the large parties to keep it down or ask the parents to manage their children, which I guess I can understand. Large parties = more revenue than a two-top. It's a Chicago-Italian dish that you won't find anywhere else in the country unless it's a Chicago style Italian restaurant and, since DH isn't from Chicago, my version is the only one he's ever had. It totally lived up to his expectations. We started with the Italian sausage and peppers appetizer. It was a very generous and delicious portion, completely shareable or large enough for a meal. The fresh bread was perfect for mopping up the extra white wine and garlic sauce. After the appetizer, I wasn't as hungry as I was going in so I had to change my choice of entree. I kept it lighter and went with the "fish salad"- a mix of shrimp, octopus, calamari, scungilli, pepper strips, thinly sliced celery, a few olives, all tossed in a fresh lemony vinaigrette. I've been craving this dish ever since! Seafood is my favorite protein and I can usually eat a LOT of it, but this salad won that challenge. As much as I wanted to finish it, I couldn't. It looks smaller in the photo because the seafood was in large pieces, but it was a big dish. I'm already planning to get it again the next time we go to Naperville! Our bellies were very full and happy, but we had to skip dessert because of that. The desserts we observed at surrounding tables looked incredible and, again, very large, so you could probably share a piece of gorgeous cake between 2-4 people depending on how much room you have! We were told that the restaurant had been closed for a long while for remodeling and, although we can't compare it to its previous version, we found it to be very clean, cozy, and tastefully decorated. They even have a nice little patio out front, but we dined inside. Although I don't remember the name of the gentleman who served us, he provided exceptional service. He was helpful and knowledgeable with his suggestions, and he was very timely and attentive. We were never left waiting for anything we needed. Many Italian restaurants these days have moved towards offering more modern and innovative dishes, Rosebud has stuck to the classics and the execute them superbly! Can't wait to go back!
