Jet's is my go to when it comes to Detroit style pizza. They have a rewards program and an online platform which I normally utilize. It's user friendly and offers different perks. This particular occasion, I ordered the veggie speciality pizza (large), cooked well done and with a garlic crust. I ordered it in advance for a specific time and when my husband picked it up, it was almost done being prepared. I appreciate this since I've had experiences (not from here) where an order was sitting out for awhile vs being prepared briefly before the pick up time. Everything was tasty and cooked perfectly. The crust was well done and not burnt. Veggies were plentiful and there was definitely garlic added to the dough haha. Took advantage of their $3.17 deal on St. Patrick's Day; I work in the food industry so I figured it would be easier on the staff if I stopped in person. Their website seemed determined to establish this deal as a losing battle for everyone involved as it crashed as soon as 4:00 hit (thank you corporate), but the employee running the register was super helpful and kind, and was able to get everything ordered with the discount for me on my phone. The website offered a texting option to order and after ordering a small pizza was informed it would be delivered in 40 minutes. After an hour and a half I called the restuarant and no one answered after about 4 minutes of ringing. Got our pizza, which was supposed to be delivery but they did as a pickup. Fine - we ran over and got it. 8 corner - Brought it home and ate half. My half didn't seem cooked very well, but I ate it anyway and had stomach issues that night. Thought we could reheat it for lunch and fix the issue but when we went to eat it, it was soggy so I pulled the cheese of and underneath was raw, stretchy dough! Where's the love people? Jet's gets a nod from me regardless of what pizza you like. Detroit style is good stuff. This is not a dine-in place, and that's fine. Service is fast whether you call it in or get delivery. Quality has been consistent every time I ordered. I don't always like deep dish or the tavern style that is prevalent in the area so this fits the bill. There's always coupons that I get in the mail, which also makes ordering from here even better. Ya know, I'm a traditional Chicago thin crust pizza kinda guy. But a friend who had recently visited Detroit brought over a couple pieces of Detroit style pizza. Although the toppings weren't my preference, it was good enough for me to find Detroit style za near me. Enter Jet's. I swear I ordered a thin crust from them years ago, but wasn't impressed. Out of curiosity I went with their Detroit style, well done with their bold pepperoni. As delivered it was good. I ate four of 8 slices. The rest went in the fridge. Two days later, late at night, I decided to reheat a single slice. Added a sprinkle of red pepper flakes and a slight dusting of Malden sea salt. Holy cr**. I heated a 2nd, 3rd, and, yep. Killed it. I actually seemed to enjoy it more as leftovers. Go figure. The caramelized crust is quite good (perhaps even better when reheated in my air fryer). Anywho, while I'm still firmly in the traditional thin crust (crispy) camp, I can see a place in my rotation for Jet's Detroit style. read more

Is there really anything better than an 8-corner pizza? That crust. It's perfect. Yeah it's a chain. And Chicago has many great pizza places. But sometimes I just really need a greasy, crunchy Detroit style pizza and Jet's is perfect for that. Coupled with a side of Jet's Bread, it's all a party in the mouth. With the app (and a pandemic) it's really quite fast. By the time I order it, I'm leaving in five minutes to pick it up. They offer a cauliflower pizza crust with only 11 carbs per slice. The regular pizza, although delicious, has 30 carbs per slice. Thank you, Jet's. You made my day when you started making that. read more

This is our favorite pizza place!! We are out of their delivery zone, but we are willing to drive out of our way for Jet's pizza. The crust is so buttery and crispy and delicious! And every time we call to order we speak to the nicest staff who always take the time to answer our questions. I feel like that's a rarity these days. I agree with Jack P. I just had the SAME experience. Messed up the order. So I called. The Phone person's immediate answer when I called was "you ordered it that way". Why was he so quick to deliver that response without even taking a second to look up the order? Hm. Was it intentional? I have the text to show how I correctly ordered it. I would hope that anyone with a vested interest in this business (clearly not the guy on the phone) would change the way they confirm orders rather than modifying them once a text is received. Ordered the pizza and even tipped extra and ahead of time because we have a big apt building. After an hour and 20 minutes I called them and they told me that I didn't answer my phone. I received no phone call, and you also have to call to get into my building and I had no notification of that either. tried to explain to the lady that the pizza was cold and sitting on the ground in front of my apt door. I'm pregnant and I'm not going to eat a pizza that's on the ground. Hey it's close by our house they did on time delivery on Member day. Pizza was very good. I liked their round pizza with mushrooms very cheesy pizza. They are Detroit style pan pizza and it's good sausage pizza. We had a day that needed take out food. It's still a quarantine life for us ya know. This jets is awesome! They are super fast with your order and it is really easy to pickup and take out. I usually get the jet 10 or Eugene supreme. Jets is known for Detroit style, so make sure to try their corner pizza. I will say this confused me a lot the first time I ordered from jets. The 8 corner pizza and extra large are about 1-2$ different, but the extra large has seven more slices. To me, at that point the 8 corner isn't worth it. I have to drop a couple of stars as the Delivery service is terrible. Getting delivery 45 minutes past the estimated time, and missing items in my Deli Boat (lettuce, tomatoes, Italian dressing) sucks! Biting into cold pizza and then having to warm it in the microwave again just blows! The thing is, this is the second delivery order in a row that they missed an item. On a good note, they will credit you $7 if you call them back to let them know. Other than the horrible delivery service and terrible quality control, the pizza and jet bread is actually pretty good. Got a Detroit-style 8-corner (the pizza is actually rectangular, with four corner slices and four inner slices) pepperoni and had a piece while it was piping hot. I enjoyed it; it had a very thick crust, like a soft, oily focaccia, that was lightly carmelized on the outside, and an appropriate amount of sauce, which was plain tomatoey but worked well with the crust. I had to add mozzarella to the rest of the pizza when reheating, though - it's like the cheese settled into the crust, but I've had this happen with other pizzas. We are so delighted to have a location of Jet's close to downtown Naperville! The Eight Corner Deep Dish is the pizza you MUST get. Be sure to add the Turbo crust (free -- garlic + butter + parmesan; they also have other options like Cajun and Poppyseed). This Deep Dish is two little square pizzas, and if you are a crust monster this is the one for you! I want to write love sonnets to it. I don't understand how in the 10-12 minutes it takes from me placing my order to the pizza being ready that the crust gets so beautifully brown, almost caramelized around the bottom edges. Unlike the Hand Tossed [which we ordered by mistake once, and was okay], the Deep Dish doesn't really have a top edge; it's all about that glorious crunchy bottom crust. Also, this is different from Chicago style Deep Dish (which makes me very happy, as I don't like the concept of having sloppy sauce on the top of my pizza with nothing securing it to everything else). The closest analogs are Buddy's and Shield's from Detroit. Regarding this particular location, we were served by a very polite young lady, and the pizza was made quickly, though we dropped in and ordered at the counter. In case you couldn't tell, I heartily approve of this place. I will have to resist the temptation to order every night. When you need your pizza fix, zoom up Ogden and try Jet's, because it's hip to be square. read more

We tried the new location and had a large square Hawaiian, with added mushrooms, and plain crust. Total was $16.80, and it was disappointing compared to the Route 59 location. Pizza was salty, and on dried out side, particularly the mushrooms. Will try again due strong convenience factor, and knowing they can probably do better. Chicagoans take their pizza, hotdogs, and burgers, steaks, and Italian beefs very seriously. Depending on my mood, I can eat the famous pub style pizza (thin cut into squares), deep dish (pequods and lous are preferred), or New York style (hard to find good ones in Chicago, but go figure). Jets a Detroit style chain? Doesn't sound like something I'd usually go for, but this place shines. Buttery crispy crust and a tangy sweet sauce that boggles my mind when I'm not counting my calories. Order the turbo crust and turbo bread. Sometimes it's even better than the pizza! read more

This rating is based on this locations customer service. I picked up my order, drove back home (15 minutes), to discover they gave me the wrong order. I called to let them know, and the girl said "yes, sorry, your order is sitting right here, so you can come pick it up". I said that since they messed it up, they should deliver it to me. She said "we can do that, but you have to pay the delivery charge". Again, I said no, you messed up my order, and at the very least to make things right you should deliver it. She put me on hold, then another girl gets on the phone and says "yes, we'll deliver it, but you have to pay for delivery, which is only $5". So again, I said, you messed up the order so you should pay the delivery fee....it's only $5 for you to make this right. Then she says "ok, we'll just refund your order", then she hangs up on me. So now I've got no food (the wrong order they gave me was not something my family would eat), and I've contacted them twice about my refund, which I still haven't received. read more

Ordered a pizza for delivery online and after 20 minutes past the due time I called the restaurant and they claimed that they came and called me but no one ever came and I had no calls at all. I'm a fan of Jet's Pizza. It's been great every time I've had it. I used them to cater a birthday party at DuPage Children's Museum. They knocked it out of the park. The driver showed up a couple minutes early. Our party was downstairs by the cafeteria, which was quite a walk. He was super friendly even though he had to make 3 trips(sorry!). The pizza was great as expected, everybody enjoyed it. The item I was concerned about was the party sized chef salad. But it was fresh and crunchy all the way through. No nasty wilted lettuce or questionable toppings. They also included a full bottle of Italian dressing, a full bottle of ranch dressing, plus a huge bag full of all sorts of crazy dressings(1000 island, Catalina and some fat free varieties). On top of stocking us with dressing for the foreseeable future, they also gave us 4 free 2 liters "for doing business with us."
