My husband and I met some friends for pizza at Giordano's on a Friday night. Giordano's was semi-full but we met our friends at the table. Our booth was small and cramped with not much room for my legs. We ordered the meat lovers deep dish and spinach deep dish pizza. The pizzas were delicious with tons of cheese and toppings. Their stuffed pizza is like no other pizza. There are lots of fun decorations to look at. I recommend Giordano's.

When Chicagoans mention deep dish pizza, Gioradano's is often mentioned in many people's top lists. As compared to other options, Giordano's is one of the more straightforward options - generally quite meaty and cheesy and with a bready crust. This is in contrast to some other options which may have garlicky or buttery crusts, caramelization, unusual toppings, etc. Giordano's can appeal to a wide variety of people looking for a more straightforward pizza experience. The menu here is fairly classic for a chicago pizza joint with a standard set of starters, salads, italian entrees, and desserts. Pizza is offered in thin and deep dish, with mostly sausage, mushroom, onion, green pepper, pepperoni, chicken, and spinach variations. There is a wider variety of items available for make your own options, but the specials are a bit limited in the combinations offered. The interior has more of a traditional pizza joint type of vibe, with decor to make diners feel like they've been transported back several decades. The pizzas themselves are fairly large so you don't necessarily need an appetizer, however it can take 40-50 minutes to prepare a deep dish, so ordering a Giordano's sampler is a good way to keep the table from getting too hungry while waiting. In general, the pizzas have a fairly thick layer of tomato sauce that isn't too bold (letting the toppings shine a little more), the cheese is fairly thick, and crust is bready and a little crunchy. For me, I find that these pizzas are probably best for those looking to get a sub sandwich in a pizza form, but may not meet the bolder flavor expectations that you'll find from many of the national pizza chain locations. With that said though, I also think that Giordano's works well for those looking for a less greasy, not overly spiced or herbed choice, where you can enjoy more of the simple combination of dough, cheese, and tomato sauce without an excessive amount of other ingredients to distract from the experience. Overall, a good choice if you're a deep dish or Chicago pizza lover. This is one of the spots that is important to try in your journey of Chicago Pizza tourism.

Pretty good deep dish pizza. Especially the dough and cheese, freshness is good. A bit of problem I have with the pizza is that, it was supposed to be meat and more meat but I can't tell the meat I was eating from the taste.

Deep dish pizza is a must tourist stop in Chicago, you just need to plan ahead because this isn't "fast" food. I planned for an hour and placed an order for pick up. I ordered a personal 6" pizza with my own combo of toppings. It was perfect. Deep dish with great cheese stretchiness. Flavor was just what I wanted. I carried out but staff was friendly and restaurant was clean.

I have been to Chicago twice before and never got chance to try their "famous deep dish pizza". This time we visited our friends and i asked if we can have deep dish pizza, and the first meal we went to was Giordano's pizza... this is definitely my favorite pizza now, as the crust was so crispy that it reminded me of samosa cover and definitely pizza and toppings add to the crust. Four of us ordered Medium size half and half ... it was very much sufficient to us and we enjoyed it! Another check mark in my food bucket list #foodie #deepdishpizza #giordanospizza #pizza #chicagodeepdishpizza

Deep dish? Absolutely pathetic. Less than half an inch of cheese. We literally ate it with our hands. The other was supposed to be a veggie pizza and it's straight olives. Should have gotten Lou's

This was found in my deep dish pizza. It was a deep dish with green peppers and mushrooms. And somehow a chunk of mud was added.

There was a chunk of mud found in my pizza. Please see the picture. Mgmt refunded me and offered to remake my order, but I had zero appetite at that point.

I was able to try avocado cheesecake and avocado brownie both was very delicious. They put them in bowls that look like they were made of avocado leaves. Neat. I had one of their sampler which included avocado deviled eggs, avocado egg rolls, avocado fries, and avocado tomato bruschetta. All I can say is it was very yummy. Along with their avocado colada I ended up being very full. I also ordered a avocado Buddha bowl and avocado strawberry banana smoothie. Which I ended up bringing home because I was just too full. I tried a few sips of their watermelon cucumber juice drink. It was delicious but not my favorite. Yet I've come to understand I'm just not a fan of watermelon juice yet I like watermelon. This place is located in downtown Naperville. I'll update once I try the other things that I brought home. Avocado banana strawberry smoothies. Yummmy The Buddha bowl was good. I loved the avocado dressing just needed more of it. Some pieces were A bit spicy to me. Yet, my daughter stated it was not even a bit spicy. I have a lower than low spice tolerance. Overall I enjoyed this avocado concept restaurant and I will return. Also I enjoyed how the place was decorated. It had abocado facts. And lovely avocado king mural on the wall. Having the free infused water tanks available while you wait (even for pick ups ). added to the warmth of the place.

Honest Gluten free review: they do offer gluten free options which is great, but to get a basic breakfast sandwich it's at least $13.50 without any additions or sides, and to get a gluten free bun you must order a full sandwich. So once I customize with cheeses or aioli (because gf bread always needs a little something something) the sandwich and fruit salad side was $16 + the coffee it's close to $24 and that's just more than I'm willing to spend for a tiny breakfast sandwich. Now with all that said, do I come here at least once a week for a seasonal latte and a pint of the most delicious chicken salad? Yes, yes I do.

I dined in for dinner during restaurant week and I enjoyed it. The atmosphere is similar to the Oak Brook location, cozy and dark. Although it was a winter time dinner so that might be why I feel this way. It is very spacious inside and kept clean. A small con of mine was I didn't love how tables next to me were being sprayed while I was eating. Maybe spraying on the rag would be better, idk, it just felt like bc of how close the tables were my food could easier be sprayed in the process as well. Service throughout was good. AJ our original server was attentive and gave great recommendations. While I was there, there was a shift change so we had a different server for the later half of our meal. Unfortunately our 2nd server lacked when it came to checking in and taking our orders for the next course. The food was great! My favorites were the calamari (cooked perfectly, crispy yet juicy, and flavorful) and the Hand-Rolled Three Finger Cavatelli. The chicken in the pasta was way over cooked, other than that though it was great. I tried the cookies n cream gelato and it was a miss for me. Texture and flavor wise it was more of an ice cream in my opinion. I was also expecting an Oreo cookie vs idk what cookie they use is. Either way - Overall everything was great and I can see myself dining in again soon.
