This place has some pretty amazing pizza! I was really surprised because I had deep dish pizza before but something about Chicago deep dish pizza is different. I chose artichoke hearts, spinach, pesto chicken and roasted garlic. YUM! There was so much cheese but not so much that it was overwhelming. Just right! Perfection! And the garlic cheese bread, it was like nothing I had ever tasted, there must be some secret ingredient in there, it just can't be cheese and garlic. It was extraordinary! Grabbed dinner yesterday great service and the pizza tasted great I was able to call ahead as well which was great!

When I called to inquire upon an allergen, I was told they would go check and call me back. An hour later, and I still haven't heard back. My family went ahead and ordered their food. The girl who took the order sounded annoyed the entire time. The ingredients on the pizza were incorrect. When I called the store upon returning home, someone picked up then hung up three different times without saying hello or please hold. Finally we got through and asked to speak to a manager, and we waited on hold for 5 minutes then got hung up on. Absolutely terrible customer service. read more

I've always wanted to come to Chicago just for the deep dish pizza and now I'm able to check this of my foodies bucket list! It is everything you hear about and then some. Before coming to visit I definitely did my research and Giordanos kept popping up so I knew this was the place I had to try. I ordered their Chicago deep dish pizza which had pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers and onions. I did make the mistake of eating two slices for Lunch and making it impossible to eat anything else the rest of the day, but it was worth it and all the calories I consumed with those two slices. And if you're a cheese fanatic like me the Chicago deep Dish pizza is the best thing ever! There's so much cheese it's def a cheese lovers paradise. Went for lunch with my husband and they seemed to be understaffed. Dirty tables that had not be cleaned, flies buzzing around but that wasn't the worst part. The waitress accidentally hit a pepper shaker off the table next to us and it shattered and I felt the impact of the glass hit my foot. Offered a band-aid and nothing else. No manager present. I've never gone to lunch at a restaurant and left bleeding. I left feedback on their website and manager called and filled out an accident report. He said they wanted to send me something in the mail and that their insurance company would call me. Insurance company called and left message called back twice with to returned call and nothing ever came in the mail and it has been over two weeks. What a horrible way to do business. Came here on a Saturday night. It was very clean but not super crowded for a weekend. I had the Greek salad to start which was tasty and a nice portion. We shared a small stuffed pizza with veggies. I enjoy the pizza this branch offers. That being said a business should not ignore phone orders just because things are busy. Not everyone wants to order a pizza online when they are driving. I showed up and placed my order in person hearing the phones ring through out the restaurant. It was actually sort of amusing. Ordered delivery online at Giordanos website. Which I didn't realize comes through Door Dash. A little confusing. Food arrived /exactly/ ontime and was packaged so well. Unfortunately two items were missing. I give 5 stars bc the manager - Ladaris- was nice and helpful and took care of things so efficiently and nicely. And I got a cute card in the mail too! Leaving a review due to 2 order mixup's within the past year, most recent one occurring tonight. 1st mixup was receiving the wrong order. 2nd mixup was never receiving my order. On tonight's mishap, the gentleman that answered the phone gave a credit on my account but would have rather had the food that was ordered 2.5hours ago. Shout out to the guy that gave the credit but thumbs down for the first chick that brushed me off stating the driver was only 15 min away. Was on hold for roughly 3-5 minutes to find out our delivery was being boxed. Asked for a refund if the delivery fee and placed on hold because they had to get the manager. Now it's 7:30 and we decided to cancel the order. The night just started out right when we got a nice big booth even though there were only two of us. LOVE that, place for the coat, the purse and the food! Since basically the first 25.00 was free we treated ourselves and had the Chopped salad, my favorite pizza, my husband's favorite pizza plus shared chocolate cake and coffee. Yes, we did have to roll out of there, thanks for asking. The chopped salad was fresh, with lots of different flavors and textures with just the right amount of dressing. I had the small stuffed special pizza with enough leftovers for two future lunches. If you have never had their stuffed pizza, you are in for a carbohydrate dream! This place is so hit and miss! Well this was a miss for the last time. We drive from Manteno to get this pizza and never again! Ordered a medium special and the pizza was absolutely tasteless. Could count on 2 hands the pieces of sausage. The sauce was all dried up on the top. Barely any mushrooms, onion, or green pepper either and what there was on it you could barely taste. I bought this for my parents who love a good deep dish pizza. They were very disappointed and said that they have been getting Girodanos since they had family back in the day around the 63rd and California location. Let's put it this way...we had more leftover pizza than we've ever had. We'll now be sticking to Nancy's in Bourbonnais for deep dish and it's only 10 mins away not a hour plus drive round trip for subpar pizza anymore. This place is now the jacks pizza or pizza! Giordano's Mokena has the best pizza in Chicago land. Before the Pandemic we ate at the Restaurant frequently and now during lockdown we get curbside delivery. Excellent service. My favorite is the 6 inch personal pans that run about 500 calories each. Crust is not too thick with bountiful toppings and cheese. Sauce is superb. Their salads are fresh, crisp, and dressings really good. I highly recommend their mushroom and spinach topped pizza. read more

It's been a while........ But here we go again. Starts off with a phone call asking about how long the wait time is today on Saturday, March 24, 2018. I get the response of 15-20 minute wait. I ask if I can put my name on a waiting list because our car drive is 20 minutes so we could be seated upon arrival instead of waiting like 4 clowns with no where to sit. I get the response telling me that I cannot reserve a seat like that unless we have a party of 8. Why the hell not? I'll tell you why: Because we would not want to disappoint the other dumbass customers who didn't think to call ahead. But okay, whatever. Only aggravation one of many. Next, we get to restaurant, and are told that the wait is 15-20 minutes.. We wait about 20 minutes before I go up to counter and pre order a deep dish pizza. Good thing I did, because the next hour we'd be waiting for a pizza that is supposed to only take 40 minutes to cook. People arrived after us, got seated, ordered after us, and received their pizza. At this point I'm fuming like a mother f**k.... Then the waitress comes back to inform us that the pizza has 15 minutes to go. What?!? 15 minutes to go? I only "pre" ordered this god damn thing, and they talkin about 15 minutes. All we ordered was a cheese deep dish, no extra, special ingredients that may warrant a longer wait. We were about to get up and leave when the Pearly Gates parted and our pizza came on a shiny silver serving saucer, and it was like God had our back. The pizza was wonderful, the waitress was wonderful, but for Christ sake, the kitchen and staff at counter really screwed up with timing for our pizza, and that is an embarrassment for such a big chain establishment that serves some of the best Chicago pizza. I would have given more stars, but between being arriving, all the way up until we received our pizza it was like an hour and half. I'd recommend Giordanos, just not this one. Will not return! Gioradano's, although a Chicago staple, is not great for the money you pay. Specifically at this location, we've had issues. The last (and final) time we ordered there, we had a medium deep dish pizza. Waited about an hour for it -Chicago style takes little longer-we get it-and the pizza was literally raw in the middle. Not just the cheese, but actual raw dough. When we called back to complain about it, we were out on hold three times and said screw it and just hung up. We were out $30 and no pizza. Will not return. Frank DiBrizzi (GM) was so accommodating; not only was I able to get that to-go, it was almost 9pm and he STILL allowed myself and five other family members to sit and have our orders that night. I ordered thin crust, that wasn't the quality of thin crust that Giordanos is known for, it's the same thin crust that Beggars has. The cheese was a sprinkle not the amount of cheese you put on a pizza.. I could've made a pizza like this in my own kitchen, practicing. I called at 7:08 and I was told an hour. That was fine. I live only 12 minutes from the restaurant and got home and immediately went in I have some. I hadn't eaten all day and couldn't wait to eat. I ordered half very veggie and half chicken sausage. The pizza wasn't hot, it wasn't at all what I expected. I am under the assumption, it was done before an hour and waiting on me to arrive but not kept warm just sitting. How can a pizza fresh from just being cooked cool off in 12 minutes? It doesn't. It'll still be hot when you get home. In fact the car windows usually figs up from the steam that escapes from the holes on the side of the box. Didn't happen. End of this story is thank God Lou Malnatis was still able to deliver. We had a large group like 17 people for my 50th birthday and decided to go here, We showed up at 4:30 on a Saturday, and was seated in the back room where we had the whole room for our party. We were able to move tables around to make it work for us. I believe our server was named Claire and she did a great job on keeping our drinks full. And pizzas coming. The pizzas were very tasty.
