I recently stopped over here during labor day to see what this place had to offer. The staff here was very friendly and I love their BLTA sandwich. There was hardly anyone in here but the service was a bit long and it was a bit pricey. Even though there was nobody in there , it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. I haven't eaten at a P-Bread in so long and my friend and I decided to go to the one in Frankfort, IL. We went to the drive through snd saw some specials. We told them we wanted 2 of the #4's (BLT and tomato soup) and a large cheddar/broccoli soup. We were surprised when we got home that there were only 2 sandwiches (pretty small) and the large soup. We paid $46 for this??? Anyway when we looked harder there were no small tomato soups in our bag. I knew I saw this special and that's exactly how it was ordered - 2 of the #4's and a large soup. So I went back and I took a picture of the "special." I went in and talked to the manager. He said there are no specials! I showed him the picture from the drive through ordering board. He told me these were just "suggestions!" I told him when I saw a picture there with soup and sandwich, that's what I expected. If the employee at the drive through knew what a #4 was, he should have known we wanted soup. This manager was just so rude and told me to look at the board in the store and there were no #4s. But I showed him the picture again. This is totally FALSE ADVERTISING! I tried to reach the "corporate office" and it's been 2 days and no return call from corporate. Been a long standing customer of this location in Frankfort. Yummy food. As others have stated the manager appears to be trying his best but long lines and non-attentive staff is normal. Tables and floors are usually clean and overall taken care of. BTW, If in the drive thru, and staff walk away it is sound proof, so they can't hear honks or yelling from the drive thru for assistance. Best bet is to call them. :-) read more

My wife and I wanted a quick lunch today but we weren't starving so we decided we would go get something at Panera. She got a half of tuna fish sandwich and just have a glass of water with it. I had a cinnamon bagel with a cup of coffee, everything was good, but the restaurant was not clean. Could've used the good cleaning. My wife had to wipe off her seat before we sat down And when I went to get my coffee, the whole coffee thing was cluttered and wet and not wiped up otherwise I would've given it. The extra star people were friendly. The food was good but they only give you one napkin on your tray. I had to go get tons of napkins so I could wipe up the table when we were done. What a tasty dinner! I wanted something light so we stopped at this location. I ordered the 1/2 goddess salad and 1/2 grilled chicken BLT. The salad was good except for having too much dressing. Regardless, I liked it. The sandwich was also good. What I liked best was the service. The cashier was friendly and greeted us with a smile. The food preparers were also friendly. We dined in and enjoyed quiet and relaxing music. I like this location and will be back. read more

Came here on a Thursday night at 5:30 pm. Placed our order and tried to sit down and all the available tales were dirty. We asked the cashier to clean our table and she said in a moment. In that time she took another order and ran an order out for curbside pickup. Then she finally cleaned our table. All the available tables are dirty in here and they are supposed to be sanitizing them in between visits. The employee calling out the orders is screaming way too loud when an order is ready! While I have enjoyed sandwiches in the past, they've just become too expensive to eat there. My favorite was the tuna sandwich. It used to have been made with a specialty bread. Now it's made with a soft white bread and half the tuna it used to. Between my husband's sandwich, my tuna, 2 med drinks, and 2 bags of 3 ounce potato chips, it was $28.00. Hot mess express. We have been coming to this location for years but the last few months have really gone downhill. We routinely wait 10+ minutes at the window in the drive thru. But the last time was the final straw for us. After waiting 20 minutes after ordering we received halfway full sodas and when we got home we realized we had 3 out of the 7 items missing. I called and said we would be back at a specific time (2 hours later) to pick up the missing things. When I went back, not only were they not ready I had to wait 15 minutes for a sandwich and 2 prepackaged cookies. The store had 2 tables of people in it at the time and the drive thru had 3 cars and was not taking anymore orders. The employees were nice, but we won't be visiting this location anymore. I love their bread and sandwiches. The drink area (specialty juices and teas),drinks are refilled over and over without cleaning them. Ugh

Ever had an itchin' for a fix? Not that you're proud of it but you just need to get your Panera on? Then try the one in Frankfort. I have met friends and ducked into Paneras all over the Midwest and this one never disappoints. The staff here is friendly, they rarely run out of what you want, they will let you sit forever and waste time. They will often take your tray and bus it for you, this is something I rarely experience at other Paneras. And if you do have to bus your own tray, that area is way cleaner than at most Paneras. Sure, there are a lot of teen agers working here but most of them are doing a decent job. They mess up occassionally but will always make good on it and then some. I love the Pick Two's, the bread and of course the cookies. Then there is the hot chocolate which here they will ask you if you want in the Big Mug. That makes all the difference, it looks phenomenal and tastes way better in the BIG MUG. Why not a five? Well, the bathroom could use a little sprucing up and the drink section just seems particularly ill situated - it combines with where people wait for their food and makes for awkwardness on everyone's part. I think this place is left to fend for themselves. Corporate not getting involved. Problem with this Panera and likely many other is they do not know how to handle customer disputes. I have had issues that were poorly felt with before but this time was my last. Ordered lunch for myself and office staff to be delivered. I have had all of the soups. The one I eat the most is cream of chicken wild rice. I know how it tastes and the consistency. It came very watered down. Called this Panera and questioned weather the recipe was changed. Also asked if they watered it down. Was told no to both questions.Then I was told I could come pick up 2 new soups. Really? I had you deliver them because I'm working. Only solution given. No offer to dimly credit the 2 soups. Threw soups out. We won't be going back. read more
