We had lunch at the Kenosha Giordano's yesterday and our first time eating there. It was, by far, the best meal we've had at any Giordano's anywhere. We had the appetizer sampler and it came with a ton of garlic bread, chicken and mozzarella triangles. All we're fantastic. We also had a Greek salad and one of the best Italian beefs I've ever had. The deep dish pizza was perfection. The crust was buttery and crisp and really hit the spot. I don't recall our server's name but he was amazing and definitely went above and beyond. Ate at Giordano's in Chicago and because the pizza was delicious I decided to try this location because n Kenosha. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!!! The thin crust pizza had very little tomato sauce base to none in some areas. I could not taste the sauce. The spinach layer out on top the pizza as an after thought. Not impressed at all. By far one of the worst locations when it comes to service! I have ordered from this place 4 times and the only thing I order from here is a $3.95 side salad. Once I was told to order online because it was faster and they almost didn't take my order over the phone. I placed my order online the next times, again for small salads and every time I show up to pick up 30 minutes later, they are never ready. The staff can either never find the order, the salads or "they are working on them". Once I say I ordered 30-45 minutes ago, the story changes to "we are short-staffed". If they want more repeat customers to pay their prices at a fast-food set up location, they need to up their service or staff. read more

First time here, the pizza was very very bland did not have any flavor at all even the crust was bland on the thin crust, also had personal deep dish there was only 2 sausage on the entire pizza. I used to love Giordano's but this location looks cool, but really sucks. We ordered a small deep dish, which took 40 mins. The mushrooms in the pizza were raw as was the dough. It was as if the pizza never fully heated through. On the top of the pizza, they put a ton of cracked black pepper and it's all you could taste. I believe this place could have been fantastic, all the pieces were there, but this kitchen cannot execute. Thankfully, Lou Malnati's is also in town now. I'm very disappointed. I had 2 Greek salads from this Giordano's, a week apart. The first was one of the best Greek salads I've ever enjoyed! Fresh, crunchy iceberg lettuce and a light Greek vinaigrette, topped with several generous triangles of feta cheese, Kalamata olives, purple onions, bell peppers, and cucumbers. Each bite was delicious! A week later, the same day of the week, I ordered the same salad to go. My friend had one, too, based on my glowing recommendation. Not even close to the quality (and quantity) of the previous week. About the same amount of lettuce, dressing, and peppers, but NO olives, very few cucumbers, one small, sad wedge of feta, and 3 grape tomatoes. Different salad chef or different recipe? I was embarrassed that my friend thinks this meager offering is a great Greek salad. Giordano's Pizza? I had two different types, but, I wouldn't go out of my way for either one. Picked up a couple pies from the Kenosha location a few weeks ago for my 40th birthday. This was the first time having giordanos and it was nothing short of amazing! I'm from the Chicago area, always thought Giordano's was the best deep dish pizza. Tried the Kenosha location and was not disappointed! Typically I do not prefer chain restaurants or deep dish but this pizza is truly the best. Have gotten the sausage mushroom, my sons's favorite, and stuffed spinach, my favorite. The pizzas are loaded with cheese, fresh ingredients and tomato sauce on top. The crust is perfect! Seen reviews that mentioned wait time when dining in. Good deep dish takes time and hands down this pizza is worth the wait. But, you can order ahead to avoid wait. Dining room closed right now so we ordered online, chose curbside pick-up and a pick-up time. Pizza was ready when we got there. Fast friendly service. In ordinary times Giordano's is our favorite pizza, in these times it's our go to comfort food! read more

Let me start by saying that the ONLY reason I'm reviewing them so low is NOT because of their food (quick review on some of their food at the end). It's their service. The 1st time we tried them was on 9/28. We ordered online and weren't too happy about the hour wait on a Monday to pick up our order. Oh well....now we know. However, when we arrived, we tried to call to let them know we were there as we ordered Curbside and sat on hold for almost 15 minutes. My daughter went in to get the order and was told that there was a system issue and they didn't get anybody's order (who ordered online). We then waited 25 more minutes for our order to be made. The manager was very nice, apologized, then said he was going to refund our order for the trouble. He then called my daughter (who paid) the next day and said that he wasn't able to credit her without her giving him her card number over the phone (which she didn't feel comfortable with). He offered a credit instead for that amount. He said he would have that info written down. We then decided to order again the following Monday 10/5. We sat on hold for close to 10 minutes before someone took our order. I mentioned the credit. When they went to check, there was nothing written anywhere about our credit! Luckily, a young lady came on the phone and said that she remembered us and that we had a credit. She took care of it. All's well that ends well right? Wrong. I wanted to order from them on 10/9 (see a pattern Giordanos?? You could get a lot of business from us....), all I wanted was an order of spaghetti and the website said that it was going to be 45 minutes. Once I went to pay (online), it said that the time was no longer valid and changed the time to AN HOUR AND A HALF FOR A PICK UP ORDER! That HAD to be a glitch....so I call them.....on hold for 11 minutes before I hung up....come on. Staff up! I want to be a regular customer but if it takes 11-15 minutes to get through on the phone and the website doesn't work right...how am I suppose to make this happen?? We ended up eating elsewhere Friday and I simply do not know if I have the patience to sit on hold forever or place an online order and MAYBE it will go through...maybe it won't. But since I'll have to start trying to place my order 2 hours in advance, I'm not sure it's worth it. Notes on the food: Extra thin crust pizza-pretty good...may be the best in town. Spaghetti-I like it better than Olive Garden...it's pretty good! Italian beef-I did NOT like the flavor-tasted off and their "sweet peppers" are a couple of thin tiny strips of green pepper that was microwaved-ew Cheesy Garlic bread- was NOT good- doughy Mozzarella sticks-not worth it. Service was bad , the server take too long to come and to get out order set up, the pizza took so lo ng to come same as the appentizer, the pizza was almost cold so i guess the pizza was there on a table waiting to come to us. I love Giordano's! I've been to the Waukegan location every chance I get, but now this new location is closer and more convenient. This is the first time I tried this location, and it did not disappoint. Their deep dish pizza is second to none. "The sauce is the boss!" My favorite is sausage & pepperoni w/double cheese. You can dine in or carry out! The staff is friendly, and very attentive. COVID-19 guidelines are strictly enforced! Very reasonably priced and plenty of parking. read more

We ordered online and gave an hour for time to get order ready..this was at 415..we get there to pick up at 5:15 and waited half an hour when finally we were told it would be another 45 mins as they hadn't started the deep dish. Now we have to cross our fingers they credit our account as fast as they took the money! They are not ready for the business they are getting. They need to at least delete pick up times in the online system if they cant meet those times..will I try again?..there are tons of pizza places in the area probably wont bother. Finally! We don't have to drive to Gurnee for Giordano's! Chicago deep dish at its best! Giordano's deep dish cannot be matched and they offer other thin crust pizza options. If pizza isn't your thing, they have great dishes and sandwiches. Kenosha has great pizza options but this stands out as a great and necessary addition. read more

Everyone told me this was the best Chicago pizza so when a they opened in Kenosha my husband and I got super excited. The first time we tried it we ordered a deep dish and it was still very raw, even cold in some parts. I ended up putting it in the oven when I got home. We figured it was just an off/ busy night so we tried again. The second time we tried a thin crust and it was just blah. The dough was flavorless. There was soooo much sauce slopping around in the box. This was the first time I've ever seen my hubby turn down pizza. He loves all pizza including frozen pizza and he didn't even want to eat it. Considering you pay around $25 a pizza you'd think it'd be good...maybe it's just the Kenosha location?? read more

1st timer coming to this restaurant. I am not impressed with the service. My order was screwed up twice while waiting on my foods. It taken more than 30 minutes to have my foods bring to table. When foods finally arrived. The pizza was barely overcooked. Fires was already cold even gave me big plate just for their screwed up order. Did not get refill for my drink as I waited till I received the check. How can you not get any better service? It is not worth the trip to come here. Worse part is the hostess does not want my service dog in the restaurant because she believes it is against the law to have a dog in the restaurant. CORRECTION it is not a dog, IT IS SERVICE DOG. That's is big difference! I have every right to have a service dog with me at all times and that is included public. I don't see myself coming back here. Ordered a pizza at 4:40 pm at 7:00 on it was still not delivered. Called and was put on hold waited for 20 minutes. Still on hold drove to restaurant to see where my order was and got a bunch of excuses. Their internet was down so on and so on. As I'm waiting for an answer from the manager 3 groups walked out without ever eating. Once again a bad situation. We came with out of state family. A deep dish pizza was ordered an hour before being seated Two hours later still no pizza. I asked for a manager and by the time I got back to the table the pizza came. The server did not put the room temperature pizza on the plate. If you want good pizza, drive by Giordano's and go to Valeos or Kaiser's. I've had good Giordano's pizza, but not at this location. They just don't know what they are doing and I'll bet Giordano's, the business, doesn't let this go on very long. Very slow service, just can't seem to get it together. Hopefully, the business will reboot this location. So far, I've had the extra thin crust, which the crust was like an undercooked cracker in taste and texture, cheese and sauce were bland, then, the Thin crust. Texture was good, flavor was bland. Ive been to other locations in Chicago and was very excited to try this one. I tried this location twice since it opened. The first time my family and I dined in. The waitstaff was nice, the food was good, and overall it was a fine, but lengthy experience (almost 2 hours). The second time I ordered three pizzas for take out. I ordered them an hour ahead of time and picked them up. When I got there about 4 other people were waiting in the general area. I went up to the counter, paid, and was told it would be right up. The 15 -20 minutes I waited was bizarre. There were two people at the registers, 1 person running back and forth to get pizzas or ask about pizzas, not really sure what she did. The bizarre part is the manager who stood silently behind the cashiers, in the way, doing seemingly nothing. There was another one standing in the dining room doing nothing. Overall the pizza is good is always. They are way too slow and need to get that in order. Maybe having managers do something other than lurk over employees would be helpful in improving some timing issues. They made me feel uncomfortable, I can't imagine how they make the employees feel. read more

What an amazing environment! Tonight was their opening night and we weren't quite sure what to expect. There were two of us and the wait time we were quoted was about 40mins. After less than 5 mins of waiting we were informed that we could "pre-order" our pizza. How awesome is that!? So we ordered our deep dish and at our 40min wait time we were headed to our table. Our pizza followed behind by less than 10mins. We created a deep dish with sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, and spinach. The pizza was outstanding and cooked through to perfection. The staff was incredibly friendly and super knowledgeable! The drinks were delightful and refreshing, we had a long island and a margarita. I'd recommend it to anyone! read more

I love the pizza. I wish I could say the place was good. I have order from the location 4 times and eaten there once. I have no plans to go back. The most recent time the delivery guy forgot part of my order. Bad enough but I had to bring it up and he clearly knew he had forgotten. Dude you screwed up OK but say it before you have me sign the receipt. He did bring the appetizer back which surprised me a little, but it had been microwaved would be my guess it tasted like crap and the plastic on the sauce container was melted. The time before I picked up on the way home. Again the pizza was great. But the person at the restaurant who started to help went back to the kitchen then came back out and just left without talking to me again. WTF at least say your order isn't quite ready this person here will help you now. There are other places that sell pizza and frankly it isn't good enough to balance out crap service. read more

The 3 people at the front were extremely rude 2 didn't know how long the wait was going to be, just looked at each other and waited for the other person to get back. We waited an hour for 3 personal pizzas and chicken parmesan. There was barely any people in there when we first sat down.

Since this location is new and always slammed, my family and I stopped in just before 3pm on a Saturday to beat the lunch and dinner crowds. We were seated right away which was great. But our experience was a little confusing, as four different servers seemed to be taking care of us: Server 1 took our drink order, Server 2 took our food order (and then disappeared completely, we didn't see her again), Server 3 (may have been a manager) brought out two of our kids' meals (the third was a pizza which we knew would take longer), Server 1 brought our appetizer and refilled our drinks, Server 3 brought out our pizza and last kid's meal, and then we had to flag down Server 4 (may also have been a manager) to ask for to go boxes and the check, which was brought out by Server 3. The pace of the meal was off as well but I assume that's due to the wait times for the pizzas we ordered, which we were informed of before we ordered. All servers / managers were friendly and polite, and management was very attentive when looped in to the issue. Our bill was discounted for the confusion, which was appreciated. Also worth pointing out that the men's restroom was out of soap and paper towels, and the garbage can was overflowing. The pizza was great; we had a stuffed pepperoni and sausage, and the crust was amazing. We will most likely be back again, but will probably wait a while for all the kinks to be worked out. read more

This is my second order (just a salad) that's been over an hour late from the confirmed delivery time. I've been on hold for over 20 minutes since calling to get a status update on my order. We were excited about this location coming to Kenosha, but it's been such a mess each time we've ordered and our food was not hot (pasta and garlic bread) and the order was incorrect the last time. We also tried take-out (deep dish pizza) and the wait was 2 hours. I went to pick it up at the 2 hour mark and was told it would be another 45 minutes...3 hours after I ordered, my food was ready. I think we'll be moving on to find another place for pizza in Kenosha. This chain needs to get their act together. The first week or two, these hiccups are understandable. Now, it's just bad business. Follow-up: The manager was extremely apologetic and put a credit on my account. We still are not convinced to return, but the gesture is appreciated. OK, since we have been at other Giordano's in the Chicago area we have never been disappointed. The Kenosha franchise location is terrible, don't waste your time here. Ordered two deep dish spinach pizza's last Saturday. These were the thinnest deep dishes ever encountered. Skimped on the cheese and the spinach. The crust/dough was not done at the bottom of the pizza. Too bad we would have liked a legit Giordano's in Wisconsin. I believe this location needs to be retrained by Giordano's corporate staff on how to make a proper deep dish pizza. read more
