Delivery person was very nice and respectful/safe. Pizzas were both yummy. I am avoiding meat but I tried a bit of crust with the sweet bbq sauce that I snitched from my husband. Hubby even liked the veggie one. Slight kick of red pepper on the veggie, I don't normally like spicy but this was a slight spice and a welcome surprise from a typically bland combo of veggies from most pizza places. The food isn't really special... their pizza is mid tier. They forgot my iced tea when I ordered, so I was stuck with the water (which tasted like chlorine). The only really special thing about this place is the inside. I wouldn't come here again unless the world was ending or if everything else was closed. When they first opened we immediately tried it and it was fantastic. Since then we have tried it multiple times and it has been all downhill since that first visit. We have had deep dish pizzas delivered that were clearly not done yet. The last one I referred to as pizza soup, that's how bad it was. Today was the last straw when I ordered the lunch special of a personal deep dish with fries and a drink online for pickup at 11:20. Everything went fine with placing the order online but when I went to pick it up at exactly 11:20, I was told they just put my pizza in and it wouldn't be ready till 11:40, which clearly would have been even later and I had it all timed out because that is my lunch break and so I told them I could not wait and they gave me my money back but now I was late for work and had no lunch. Ordered delivery tonight, it was a hour wait and came on time. The pizza was good but not great, crust was pretty good but everything else... Not better tasting then some of the local joints around. We got a large deep dish a with a 4 flight wings and mozz sticks/ triangles. Pizza was the best, the wings were good size but I was disappointed. I am a Maryland girl and I was excited for old bay wings... I think they just gave us two of the ranch because there was NO old bay. I have it in my pantry... it was not on the wings. they said the wing for flight came with tequila lime sauce and ranch... we just got two ranch and that sucked because we wanted more of that tequila lime flavor. The mozzarella triangles are nothing to write home about and the marina sauce was lacking flavor. I want to try the salads but I am not to hopeful at this point. The pizza was good though. read more

I was so excited to learn we were going to have a Giridano's in our area. This is my 5th time visiting and Every time, our deep dish is missing something. This time, it's missing sausage! I've had 3 slices and only 1 piece had a little sausage. I asked my husband and daughter and their pieces are the same. It's nothing like the ones in Illinois. It's sad. When you're hungry and you wait so long for the food, patiently. Then you open it and it all looks wonderful. But bite after bite, no meat. It's hugely disappointing. It has been crazy busy since it just opened, really long wait time, but the food is amazing. Love the bruschetta, salads, and garlic bread. Our family stopped in for dinner...we were told we had a 45min. wait. We waited for about an hour and a half. Then was told we could preorder our pizza but the wait on the pizza would be 75min. There were a ton of orders to go and those were way backed up. Clearly they are either not staffed well enough or taking more orders than they can manage. After waiting over an hour and a half we left to go somewhere else as it still looked like a table for 6 was not even close to opening up. There were also others who walked out looked very frustrated with the service. Hope they can read comments like this and figure out how to turn things around. read more

Dave kind of ruined this place from the beginning but it picked up real nice. Had the chicken parm and it was super tasty. Jackie was a real sweetheart and made sure we were all taken care of! Ordered Pizza on line at 5:34 for a 7:10 pick up. I drove 20 minutes from Racine to try this place. When I walked in the front door I was told pick ups were near the rear of the restaurant. hmm I must have missed the sign out side for that. (i don't think there is one, I could be wrong) When I got back to that area at 7:10 I could not believe how many people were there waiting. In my innocence I assumed they were walk ins and had not pre-ordered. The looks going back and forth to all of us waiting was like a bad spaghetti western or a sit-com. Finally I asked one couple if they had pre-ordered, and they said yes and their food was supposed to be ready at 7. Oh crap. here its 730 I have been waiting in line for 20 minutes to get to the register. And folks pizza that is 10 min ahead of mine is not out yet. I get to the register and the very frazzled cashier asks if I want to pay, but no my food is not ready. (I really felt bad for her, she was a wreck) I told her I am not paying because if its not ready soon I am just gonna split. 7:40 and the 7 o:clock folks were all still standing there. I think probably 7 or eight different parties. Well this is getting weird, and to a point a bit amusing its SO bad. Add to the confusion the very poor layout that makes the wait staff surf their way though waiting customers to get to the kitchen for their orders, it was ridiculous. Then all of the sudden came out a rush of 7 o:clock orders, and the 2 cashiers seemed to really be lacking in how to ring up orders, it was painfully slow to watch how long ringing up one customer took. another 15 minutes and mine was finally called 7:51 was my sales slip. The manager stepped in to take care of the register, and kinda mumbled something to me, I did not hear her, but the original frazzled lady motioned me off to the side to let me know there was compensation for what had happened. So Drive the pizza back to Racine, and my wife and I had some, it was good, but not great. My wife seemed to think it was under cooked, but also noted the bottom was brown, as the edges. She opined they had turned the ovens temp up to hurry things up, and the crust browned, but the middle was not fully cooked. I am not sure. I am not sure how long they have been open, I want to think 3 weeks or so. These problems should be ironed out by now I would think. At the very least when the website is giving you options of when it "can" be done, there should be systems in place to say well its going to be 3 hours so at least you can make an informed choice if you want to go there, and at least stay home until its your turn, rather than standing in a waiting room watching the show. Will I try this place again? hmm Maybe, I think if I time it right, once kenosha gets fed up with the place, and just before they close the doors might be the best time, so maybe a year from now. read more

Still waiting for.my food to come out. We have been waiting two hours for three sandwiches. Incredibly unprofessional management. They are clearly not doing their jobs. The poor servers are taking all the heat for the angry customers, as there are many, when in reality we have discovered the cooks are not trained. This is absolutely ridiculous. The pizza as usual was delicious, however the experience in the restaurant left a lot to be desired. The way the restaurant was constructed, there is no way to regulate the air coming from the outside. This was by far the coldest restaurant I've ever been in. There was a constant breeze running through our feet, by the way, this was after we switched tables already because of the cold. I also feel that waiting one hour for pizza in the cold is asking too much. It seems to me that putting in an additional door with a fan warmer between the doors would fix this problem. read more

Horrible service, ordered two small pizzas waited over an hour only to find out that they didn't make one of them. Manager apologized and had that pizza to take home but wife ordered a specialty pizza which I didn't care for. Was here for an hour and a half and went home hungry. Didn't wait for the 2nd pizza as it didn't come within 30 minutes and we were not going to wait for something that may, or may not show up. Wife's pizza didn't come with the mushrooms she ordered but we paid our bill and left. Stay far away from here, many other fine restaurants in the area where customer service is a priority. I just went there.... ordered an individual deep dish cheese pizza and cheesy garlic bread.... they screwed up the pizza and never even gave me the garlic bread... they gave me some one else's pizza.... We ordered a thin crust Pisa and a salad. I arrived 15 minutes early and the pizza was already in the warming oven But our salad was not made. She ran in the back to make our salad. Kind of disappointing that our pizza was done before the salad and the pizza had to sit. The pizza had absolutely zero taste! The crust tasted like cardboard, and the cheese and sauce had very little taste. We ended up throwing 3/4 of the pizza away. I would've rather had a frozen pizza. Giordano's was given a score of one star, because their customer service sucks. My girlfriend and I ordered two pizzas over the phone. Upon asking for the total she was hung up on. We called back she was put on hold for up to five minutes and all she wanted was the total for the food. She hung up and I called back I was again put on hold for another 5+ minutes.I hung up after the five minutes and call back no one answered the phone and I hung up again. It was told that the pizzas only took 45 minutes. We called At 6:10 in she still wasn't home from getting the pizzas until like 7:40 PM. Upon going to Giordano's she talk to the manager and told him about the customer service and he acted as if it was nothing. She still had to wait at least a good 20-30 minutes for the pizzas to come out after she got there to pick up the food. As well, A second manager was talk to you and she did nothing as well. I understand Giordano's is supposed to be good pizza and it was mediocre too me. Maybe because it was warm. The service @ this establishment was trash and I don't think I'll ever go back. We love Giordano's normally, the Gurnee location is amazing so we figured we would give this new location a try. We ordered delivery, a deep dish pizza along with a thin crust pizza. The thin crust pizza was fine, but the deep dish pizza was terrible. The middle was cold, the crust was still raw and extremely flimsy. We ordered online and it gave an option to add red pepper packets, parmesan cheese packets and paper plates/forks, none of which were included when we received our order. Great location and great food! We have had good experiences every time. Carry out, delivery and dining in. Dining in we had to wait but we were able to place our order whiling waiting. Pan pizza does take longer to cook so that was awesome! With delivery i took a little longer but they called us to notify us and delivery driver was very apologetic. Love Giordano's! read more
