It's almost always dead inside but I'm guessing people are just taking it to go. I got the family meal deal, large 1 topping pepperoni pizza, 2 orders of breadsticks and 4-20oz sodas. I go every other weekend when we come to town. We always order the family meal with the whole pizza. The pizza and breadsticks are always good and we have never had a bad one. The salad bar is clean, well maintained and always has many choices. We have been to other locations and this is our favorite. The employees are also very friendly and welcoming. This was the second time we got our pizza and it wasn't cooked all the way through to the point it was almost not edible! So disappointed because it's never been like this that's why we gave it a second chance. Not sure if we can go back to this location. I feel the manager really needs to start checking these pizzas to make sure the staff is cooking them through. I believe the dough should be partly cooked before putting the toppings on. In the center section of the pizza was watery and doughy. Also this time around the sausage was huge like 2inch wide meatballs! You could hardly see the pizza it was crazy!! Horrible... I go here all the time. They never seem to cook my pizza well done. When I even put it in the special instructions and call the to remind them it's well done. Last night ordered a pizza it's like they only cooked it for 5 min, forgot to put some toppings on so when they took it out they just added the green peppers and onions. Was still as cold as when they put the pizza in and then the bread sticks are my favorite thing. Those weren't even edible still doughy and in a big ball. Usually I'm not the one to complain but last nights order definitely needs it. One good thing is when I called they were super nice of giving me a free pizza and bread sticks. Even went that next day to get the free pizza and breadsticks the employees were beyond rude and laughing my boyfriend and I like the spit in the pizza or something. They just threw it at us through the drive thru. The pizza and breadsticks were barely cook. The food tasted terrible. This is the LAST TIME they will ever get money. The owner or the head manager really needs to look at what's more important and the morals of the restaurant. read more

The staff was nice and attentive. I ordered a large Meat lover's pizza and it was only about a ten minute wait. The dining room was clean too. I loved the 80's theme of it, especially the raised and lowered floors. And my pizza was delicious as well. 10 out of 10, 5 stars. I will be returning. read more

I remember fighting with my brother over slices of Rocky Rococo pizza! Years later, I couldn't even finish a slice. That pizza was horrible. My mom thought it tasted like vomit. I just thought there was too much of that soft dough and there was an odd sweetness to it that I didn't like. If you've ever been to Cici's and had the barbecue chicken pizza from their buffet, I can tell you that pizza tastes WAY better than Rocky Rococo's barbecue chicken pizza and you know that's bad. Had to stop here to relive my childhood - this was my favorite pizza place as a kid, and I was very sad when the chain folded in Chicago and went back to being Wisconsin-centric. The pizza is exactly as I remember it - the crust is yeasty and doughy, the sauce has this special bite to it and each slice has a TON of Wisconsin's finest cheese. The Chicago in particular was always my favorite - big chunks of sausage and tomato. Unfortunately it is now a special and only available on Wednesdays, so I ordered their Supreme, which adds peppers, onions, etc. Ah the memories of pizza slices past, eaten on the street corner of Elston and Addison as a boy! Same giant slice, same greasy aftertaste. Not sure this would be my regular pizza, but it was great to go back in time once again. Why? Why is the Rocky Rococo franchise not thriving? Why can't they push across the Wisconsin/Illinois border? It really boggles my mind that a fast food pizza place good enough to drive nearly five miles off the highway for in the remote stretch between Chicago and Milwaukee hasn't done well enough to be more popular and available than it is. Rocky's pizza is like no other fast food pizza. It's a light, fluffy pan-style crust and a generous helping of cheese surrounding an addictive sauce. That sauce is something special - I can't think of too many pizza places that sell jars of the stuff over the counter. It is greasy as hell, though. The oily residue left at the bottom of a side of breadsticks is almost enough to make you feel sick - maybe that's what eventually gets people to buy into the sub-par salad bar. I've never tried the pasta either, but why would you? The pizza's too good to not order. i gave it 2 stars. I went thru the drive and waited at the drive thru like 10-12 min before anybody asked talked thru the speaker. seems the mgr was there doing all the work. this place used to care about quality but now has gone downhill. I don't like to wait for 15 min just to place my order but i was timing them after a certain point. The food i got was crappy breadsticks, not fresh at all. Thrown together super slices which were not tasty. They even downsize the breadsticks cups to something much smaller. Between waiting with nobody else in line at the drive thru at least the food would be fresh or equal to how it used to taste. The 2stars is because it reminded me of the rockys signature recipe it just didn't taste good. I was very disappointed. the mgr didn't even care how long he made me wait when nobody else was in front of me. your customers are counting every minute just remember you don't what when that review will show up. would that be like today ? read more

One star because the place was clean and the staff was nice. That's all this place deserves. This is some of the worst Pizza I have ever eaten. If you like flavoreless garbage, generic fast food style pizza like Pizza Hut then you will love this place. The pizza and bread sticks taste like it came already made and was sitting under a heat lamp for at least 2 hours. This only proves that WI does not know pizza. Normally really enjoy the Rocky Rococo pizza but had such a terrible experience I will not ever return. I took the exit off highway and drove several miles. I made sure my mask was in place before I entered and noticed the signs on the door saying mask usage was mandatory. Once i entered I was shocked to see customers with no masks at all. I motioned to the employee about the person standing at the counter. The employee actually motioned for the customer to look at ME and then they both snickered at me for being concerned and wearing a mask. I left the restaurant and thought I'd try the drive-through. The employee was also extremely rude and mocked me again and tried to say that the customer was the UPS driver. IT doesn't matter what the customer does for a living- everyone is supposed to wear a mask indoors at this time. I simply couldn't believe that the employees were not following COVID protocol and then how they laughed at me inside of the restaurant and then continued to be rude in the drive through. I ended up not ordering even through the drive-through and will not be back ever after this. read more

Rocky's has great pizza, no matter what some people may think. The pizza has great flavor, especially the sauce. If you like pan pizza, then Rocky's is a good place to go. I have had pizza all over the United States, and in many parts of the world, and I can tell you, that Rocky's can definitely hold its own against almost any other pizza place I've been too. The pizza is always hot and made fresh to order. I have never had a problem with Rocky's pizza ever. The cheese is created in Wisconsin, and is the best. Now they have stuff crust with smoked mozzarella cheese, and it makes the pizza even better. A must have in my book. read more

My husband stopped to get their current weekday lunch special pizza, 'The Rockfather' and it's HORRIBLE! The pizza is not only soggy, but the dough is nearly raw! I give the food 4 stars. We have several authentic pizza restaurants in town; I don't compare them, but the pizza is good and consistent. However,This review is about the service. My husband and I stopped for dinner and ordered a cheese, sausage, and mushroom pizza. When it came I first noticed the mushrooms were missing. Disappointed but unlikely to complain I served the first piece. Then I saw a pepperoni, and then another. At that point I got up and said to my husband, this is not our pizza. I went to the counter and told the attendant we have the wrong pizza and that we would like the correct one, then I went back to the table. The waiter came to the table, apologized, took the incorrect pizza and indicated they were making the correct pizza. I said thank you and we were satisfied. However, next another person came to our table, whom I assume was the manager. He also apologized, but also gave my husband his money back. Confused, my husband said that's not necessary we just want the correct pizza. The manager said, we are still making your pizza but we are making this right. He gave him the money, also a coupon for a future visit! He even offered to box up the incorrect pizza Mistakes happen, it's how you recover that makes all the difference. Well done Rocky's! You went above and beyond our expectations. By the way, the pepperoni pizza went to a family of teenage boys, who were quite happy as well. read more

Husband and I, and Granddaughter go there today. We have been there many times. They order a slice and soda, I order salad bar. They tell me they are flipping it. It is so small, this should take 5 minutes. I worked in food for years. They Guy hands me a bowl I could take a bath in, and tells me, oh only one trip to the Salad bar, do you understand? I am not skinny, I admit, But if I ate more than this bowl, I would need a intervention. So we go to table, waiting waiting, 20 min later, no Salad bar. Husband has to go to work. I go up there, ask for a container to go, It is like 1/2 the size of the bowl. It no longer matters. I toss a Salad together on the cart they rolled out. And will never return. read more
