Garlic fries

Giordano's pizza in Rogers Park is a great location. It was not crowded on a Sunday evening, which was a nice change from the hectic loop restaurant on a Friday night. The service was top notch, constantly refilling our drinks. The food was served in a timely manner. The deep dish cheese pizza was excellent, nice cheese pull and perfectly cooked. The Parmesan crusted margherita pizza was very good as well, it had a thinner crust that is similar to Lou Malnati's pizza. The Parmesan cheese on the crust was a nice touch. We also had garlic fries which were good and fried cheese triangles. We also ordered dessert to go, tiramisu, pan cookie and chocolate cake. Overall a great evening of deep dish pizza . I would highly recommend the Roger's Park Giordano's restaurant.

Love their lunch combos here which run Monday-Friday 11-3pm. It is what keeps me coming back. For $9.50, you can get an individual deep dish pizza and a side! Unheard of. My favorites are the individual sausage deep dish pizza with the garlic Parmesan fries. You also can't go wrong with their pepperoni deep dish or their Italian beef sandwich with sweet and spicy peppers. I have done carry out at this Rogers Park location about three times now and every time I was promptly helped and had to wait no longer than 5 minutes.

Customer Service: We had a pretty good customer service. Gaile (i forgot how to write her name) was very nice. She came back to check on us every minute to make sure we were doing well and we were satisfied. Food: The pizza was okay. To me it was not the best pizza i've ever had. I really was expecting better. The pineapple on top of our pizza did not taste okay. Something was wrong with it. The cheese pizza was pretty good. But the chicken wings was really really bomb! Very deliciouuuussss. Price: I thought it was a little pricy even tho we took part of this special going on 14" pizza for 19.95. But I guess it was worth it. If I am back in the city would I come back? The answer is...... probably

Great Chicago style pizza! We had a deep dish chicken sausage with spinach and a thin crust with feta, spinach and artichoke. Both were terrific and satisfied our pizza craving nicely!

Decided to place a pick up order from this location since my first experience was good. I was surprised my 6" personal deep dish was $11.48 on its own. I recall it being much cheaper during lunch hours to enjoy. I didn't realize until picking up that the lunch deal is $8.45 and includes a side. I was disappointed that the lady taking my order was not only less than friendly, but also didn't bother mentioning the lunch deal. My receipt tells me that I placed the call/order just before 3pm so unfortunately customer consideration isn't a value at this particular location. Aside from that, the pizza was lukewarm. I picked up my order 10 minutes earlier than directed on the phone, so I can only imagine how cold it would have been had I waited the entire 35 minutes. I won't be back to this spot again.

Little Bad Wolf - Wolf Burger and frites. Duh. Solid meat to face thing.

Nothing overly complicated -- just a really well-executed burger. Little Bad Wolf has the accolades to back it up. Time Out ranks its larger Wolf Burger #1 in Chicago, while The Infatuation actually prefers the Bad Burger, saying the simpler version allows the meat to shine. After eating it, I understand the hype.

The Little Bad Wolf isn't just a story... it's a phenom dot com restaurant that you NEED to visit! My family and I visited after a Saturday Cubs game and luckily, there were still a handful of tables available and we were promptly seated. The staff were super friendly and provided excellent service! Almost everyone at our table ordered the Wolf Burger after hearing my sister and her husband rave about it. When our orders came to the table, we were all PLEASANTLY surprised at how beautifully stacked and dressed our burgers were. A triple stack of patties, topped with cheese, bacon, a fried egg, crispy onions, and housemade pickles?! That's a recipe for delicious success right there! The Wolf Burger was indeed SCRUMPTIOUS! My goodness, I am still thinking about it two whole days later and how I can't wait to revisit this restaurant and try some more of their menu items. An honorable mention goes out to the delicious fries on the side!! They were the perfect cut, well-seasoned, and out-of-this-world. I HIGHLY recommend Little Bad Wolf to all folks looking for a delicious experience! The burger is sensational, the environment is impeccable, and this is a great spot if you're going on a date or out with friends.

Let me start off by saying this was not a business I would…read morehave thought of going to because I don't just do salads as a meal unless it is a big giant taco salad, but for a work meeting, this was the place that lunch was ordered from. I got the Chicken Avocado Ranch for my selection (Antibiotic-free blackened chicken, avocado, pickled onions, apples, tortilla chips, white rice, chopped romaine, seed oil-free green goddess ranch) and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. As I was home on the Friday after the Xmas Day celebration, hungry, didn't want to cook/heat anything up, I decided to order this salad for dinner through Grubhub. While I was placing the order, I decided to try the Fish Taco for the next day's lunch (Antibiotic-free miso glazed salmon, avocado, shredded cabbage, cilantro, tortilla chips, herbed quinoa, spring mix). This bowl comes with a sweetgreen hot sauce & lime cilantro jalapeño vinaigrette, but I opted to switch that out for the Green Goddess Ranch and the Miso Sesame Ginger. I loved the fact that I would add or not include certain items. For example, I love goat cheese, so I add that to both bowls and it was delish. Delivery was pretty smooth, with the driver coming up to our floor to drop everything off. Both bowls looked visually pleasing and the overall taste was pretty good. The flavors were nice and there was a freshness to both bowls, even the Fish Taco one on the next day. FYI the Fish Taco bowl can only be ordered online, not ordered in the store...not sure why, but since I will not be going to the store, I am good with that. You also have the option to order a slice of bread with each bowl and that was nice. Next time I will see if I can get a second slice. Total cost for the two bowls, with some add-ons and service fee and tip was about $58. I will say it will be cheaper to go to the store and pick it up yourself, but I will pay to have stuff delivered to me for peace of mind. They do have an app for placing orders, but I will stick with Grubhub because that is free for me through Amazon. I realize sweetgreen has a mission statement about eating healthy, lowering their carbon footprint, a commitment to animal welfare, but before I knew any of that, I still would say the bowls were pretty good. Not that I crave salads or bowls that often, but if I do, this will be the first place I order from.

We shared the Oda Grill Combo and Karniyarik/Moussaka. Both were outstanding and seasoned just right. I ordered a cocktail (Drop it Like It's Hot) and that too was refreshingly tasty for a warm summer evening. Ambiance is really cute and they have an outdoor patio. Our server was kind, attentive and helped me make a decision on dinner and dessert when I was torn between a few choices. They let us hang around after dinner and they didn't rush us out which was nice too. We had the option to dine in or out but we chose to stay inside because of the humidity and frankly, we just love our air-conditioning. Granted if the weather is favorable, it's a nice space for alfresco dining. Parking is generally street only since they lack a parking lot. The dinner menu was quite different from the all-day menu; in particular there were more sides and entrees. I ordered the mixed grill for one ($36) with smoked lamb. The cut was lamb shoulder. Came with five thinly sliced pieces. I saw some reviews complaining that their lamb was too fatty. For lamb shoulder, however, I think the amount of fat was acceptable. But I wish there could be more meat. The meat was served over bejeweled rice. Basically it was an aromatic, turmeric & saffron spiced rice with dates, cashews and a tiny bit barberry (only found two). I wish there could be more barberry and fewer dates, because now it was purely sweet. This, together with the oil in the rice and my fatty lamb, made the dish a bit greasy. On the side I got some grilled long hots, grilled tomatoes, pickled cucumbers and tomatoes, ezme, zoug, tahini, and some freshly baked pita. The pita was soft, moist, chewy and paired well with everything else. I wish they could check if the pita was burnt, though -- one of my pita was burnt! Service was OK. Food came out quickly. It was chill to sit at the patio in a late summer, but they should put more lights. Indeed for half of my meal I had to use the flashlight on my phone for lighting lol.

The entirely plant based menu is varied, whimsical, and intentional, and the staff are just glorious. Once seated our server inquired whether we had had the pleasure of dining at Alice & Friends' before, and upon discovering it was our first visit delightedly offered suggestions for our optimal enjoyment. The outcome: -Laksa: Malaysian noodle soup with a coconut curry broth, served with a variety of vegetables, tofu, and vegan shrimp. What? Yes. So good. -Heavenly curry: magical curry base (coconut milk, coriander, lemongrass, ginger, garlic, turmeric), chickpeas, and lots of hearty veggies including sweet potato, served over perfectly chewy brown rice. -Raw tiramisu: I can't even. Espresso, chocolate, cream, crust. Just get it. The decor (like the restaurant) is based on Alice in Wonderland, with lots of anthropomorphized friends to appreciate. Typically, I reject these dietary labels, as what we all eat is food. Simply food. However, I'm also not someone who is all "OH EW, VEGAN STUFF, NO." I will not only never say that, but I will ALWAYS try something new. You should too. ON TO THE FOOD. I had heard talk of their Ramen, so I immediately ordered that. OH MY GAWD. It is so good. It tastes like "regular" ramen, but is 100% vegan. There was a strip of stuff (it was seitan) that looked like the pork belly that typically comes in Tonkatsu ramen. How is this not meat?! It was SO GOOD and had the texture of meat. But it wasn't meat. The broth is silky smoove, savory and . . . my gawd, I drank every single drop. The noodles and veg things that typically come in ramen were there, and just delicious. Writing this review, I am now craving this ramen. I took home an additional order of this ramen for my BF and he became obsessed as well! We had a couple other appetizers that were fantastic too! Some breaded mushroom app that was super tasty. I'm typically not a breaded food fan, but this was light and crispy and really tasty. The interior is spare, uncluttered, full of light and spotlessly clean. The staff is so helpful, friendly, and earnest with answering any questions. No booze, it's BYOB, but they have a lot of Kombuchas to try! A neighborhood gem that I will now keep in rotation when dining out.
