We did a pick up order as we've been wanting to try Sweetgreen. Easy to order from their page and food was ready quickly. Easy to go in and give your name and pick up your food. The inside was modern and simply decorated with friendly staff. The salads were tasty and filling.

Love the concept of a healthy 'fast-food' option that's easily accessible! After a workout class in the area, some friends and I wandered over to sweetgreen for dinner. I've been to other sweetgreen locations, but this is my first time visiting the one in Andersonville. The inside was sleek and bright, and we were happy to see the outdoor patio tables! The gal taking my order was such a sweetheart! Super welcoming, and even asked me if there were any modifications I wanted made before preparing my salad. I ordered the chicken teriyaki salad; my first time trying this one! Blackened chicken, seasonal roasted zucchini + squash, spicy broccoli, raw carrots, basil, shredded cabbage, baby spinach, warm wild rice, and sesame teriyaki dressing. Absolutely loved this salad! So much flavor, and I loved the crunchy broccoli and carrots. The salad was large enough to last me lunch the next day, too! Another cool aspect was the filtered water dispenser. I had my water bottle with me, so I was able to easily fill up with some fresh, cold h20!

Chains are expanding their presence in Andersonville and Sweet Green is a solid addition. Overall, it is a quick grab and go spot with extremely easy online ordering. Staff works quickly and there is convenient shelving for to-go orders. There is some seating available for customers who would like to dine-in. In general, my grievances with Sweet Green are in the lack of blue cheese dressing and minimal salad dressing provided with online ordering. This is not necessarily the franchise's fault. To be clear, one side of dressing is never enough for a whole salad. You need at least 2, and 3 would be generous. Overall, I will still order from Sweet Green when I have a craving for a salad because it's the most affordable option in the neighborhood. I enjoy the Caesar and Cobb salads.

I used to live in this neighborhood, and now I'm visiting from out of town. I was sad to see Hamburger Mary's go, and I was prepared to hate this place based on the reviews and just nostalgia. But I had an excellent experience here and my salad was beyond delicious. Where I live now in the South, we don't have salad. I would give anything to have a place like this down there. There was a bit of a wait, but it was not that bad. There was only one girl making salads, and she was outstanding. She was so friendly and warm and seemed to really enjoy her job, which is rare. I got the green goddess salad and added a few items like avocado and egg. The whole thing was less than $13, and it was HUGE. Some of the reviews made it seem like I'd be getting a side salad, but that was certainly not the case. I was going to allow myself to eat all the unhealthy things while I was in town, but I look forward to going back and getting another salad this week.

Very healthy salad and was very yummy

This was my first time picking up a meal at this location, and surprisingly, it was really yummy. My wife kept telling me about the garlic steak plate with a side of wild rice, roasted sweet potatoes, spicy broccoli & tomato with pesto dressing. So I ordered that and the hummus cruch salad with romaine, kale, bread crumbs, cabbage, tomato and cucumber, and chickpeas with hummus, basil and pesto dressing. They were both so yummy I would definitely go pick up something for lunch or dinner again in the future. The meals were prep fast, and the servers were kind and helpful with my question. Great ambiance.

It was my first time at Sweet Green today and I loved the ambiance and how spacious it is inside. I ordered a customized bowl for pick up and the employees are as sweet as the name! Super friendly and warm smiles. I customized the harvest bowl on the app and opted for the following: arugula, shaved parmesan, parmesan crisps, warm quinoa, roasted chicken, sweet potatoes, apples, almonds and two servings of their spicy cashew dressing; This is such a healthy and delicious bowl. Sweet Green needs to expand their locations because this is the type of spot we all need to live a healthy lifestyle, instead of being stuck on greasy fast food. I know I'll be coming back for more because this is the best salad I've ever had. The one female employee with short blonde hair and two male employees that served me today are awesome. I look for great customer service skills and good quality food. This is definitely my new spot! Salad is fireeeeeee!

I was so happy to see Sweet Green opened in the northern suburbs! This was one of my favorite salad/green bowl spots in southern Cali and it didn't disappoint. Sweet Green has delicious salads and warm bowls and offers a variety of greens, veggies, grains, nuts, legumes, cheese, protein and salad dressing options! They have an easy to use app and I ordered the custom bowl, selected all of my favorite veggies, added protein and my dressing of choice! My order was correct, ready on time and the ingredients were all tasty and fresh! Looking forward to my next salad or warm bowl creation!

Miso Glazed Salmon came pre flaked and with not much salmon

The salmon came already flaked and was much less than the typical portion. I've gotten this order many times and this is atypical.

What have they done with the portion sizes?! This is what my warm bowl looked like, I have yet to take a bite. Don't charge $17 for this and then give me two pieces of everything. It literally had 4 pieces of tofu and 3 pieces of mushroom. I will never eat here again. What a joke.

For an extra $15, it made sense to order the prix fixe menu with the wine pairings. A cocktail likely would have cost more. The soup and salad were delicious and paired perfectly with great wines. Also paired with a great dessert wine-- possibly the only dessert wine I have ever really liked! Yes the portions are a little smaller for restaurant week, but with four courses I was happy to not feel like a glutton at the end. Incredibly thoughtful and knowledgeable service made this a great choice for dinner. The space is well laid out too. It was more than enough food , but I would like to return to try their cheeses, and larger portions. I am not a fan of most chips, but these were so good, and the pimento cheese was savory , spreadable and very good. The prosciutto flatbread was a mixture of sweet cream and savory. The salt from the prosciutto and the sweetness from the figs was perfect. Our waiter overheard us mentioning an upcoming special occasion and treated us to a slice of cheesecake topped with berry sauce. The cheesecake was so fluffy and the chevre cheese was creamy and had a touch of goat flavor. Uvae lived up to my expectations and we will return.

The Queen speaks highly of the Smoked Salmon Omelet (smoked Atlantic salmon, goat cheese & sautéed onions). I had the a bite and loved the fact that it had goat cheese in it, so tasty. I am also a fan of the Coconut Almond pancakes (two buttermilk & almond pancakes with shredded coconut, topped with warm homemade caramel, fresh whipped cream, and banana slices). While they come with a lot of toppings, I prefer just the pancakes on their own so I can get the full impact of the coconut and almond flavor. The space is very small and they do not do reservations, so be prepared to wait depending on what day and time you go. Weekends can be crazy but they do have an outside are you can eat at, but with the weather getting on the cool side, it's a dealer's choice if you want to eat outside. Parking can be tight as it is all paid street parking nearby, although there is free parking on the side streets...good luck locating it though. Hopleaf Bar is hands down one of our favorite spots for dinner and drink in all of Chicago!…read more One key to a successful dinning experience at Hopleaf is knowing the three different spaces to engage. When you first walk in, you have to show your ID since this is an adults-only bar establishment. (1) You can then choose to sit in the front bar area, if you want a full menu, but use the bar for ordering service. (2) If you keep walking through the front bar area, you reach the host stand at the top of the ramp. This is where you can put your name in to sit in the main dining room, upstairs, or outside. (3) However, you can also walk through to the left of the host stand to another bar area that has full menus, but bar service for ordering. This is our preferred spot because we can often find a seat and order with the bar. Do note that, during busy times, part of this bar area is managed by the host stand and will be labeled as such. The extensive beer menu is our favorite. We have our favorite food items, so all our decision making revolves around which beer we will get. They always have a bit of everything style-wise, from all over the world, but with a local-brewery focus. Seasonal emphasis is also taken into consideration when they curate the beer list. It is always rotating and we love it! Beers are served in the recommended glasses from the breweries. It's a great drinking experience from start to finish! Our food orders are eternally set: I get the Nueske Ham sandwich with fries and aioli. My husband gets the Reuben sandwich with fries and aioli. This meal is so perfect we'll probably never get anything different, despite the menu being delicious across the board. The wildest we get is sometimes splitting the two sandwiches. No reason to mess with a good thing! Other notable great things about Hopleaf: (1) Kind, knowledgeable, and professional staff. (2) Reasonable prices for high quality and great variety products. (3) Clean Belgian Bar decor/vibe with lots of space for folks to enjoy their time. (4) They are open late and serve food late. Thank you for being an amazing local spot, Hopleaf! We'll see you soon!
